• Stephen (10/5): Well beyond expectations! - From the moment the taxi let us out we felt we were in good hands, all the people working at the hotel were so helpful and friendly so much so we felt like we belonged there ( and so didn’t want to leave). Everything was so clean and our room was spotless. Pool and poolside was such a lovely area to relax in overlooking the beach at Truolos with a very short option to get there, though a little steep down to the beach which was, like most of the island, a lovely place to relax. And a swim in the crystal clear water was so cathartic after the normal working drudgery in the previous months at home! Although the hotel was a little outside the area with tavernas at Truolos it was a short walk if necessary, which helped after dinner! There was also a very regular bus service all along the front operating at approx. 10 minute intervals. Food at the hotel bar was freshly made, tasty and plentiful (pizzas were far too big for one- but I tried!), with drink service good as well and all very reasonably priced. All in all I loved staying at this hotel and the island on the whole as they were both well beyond my expectations. A caution to be had though for those with lower mobility due to hillside location and change in height between pool and accommodation although there is an external lift from road level to pool and then another from pool to most of the accommodation ( I would advise communicating with Spyros if you were concerned in that respect).

• David (10/5): - Myself, my wife and daughter stayed at Laluna at the end of Aug 24 and had a great time, the room was clean and had a view over the bay which was a pleasure to wake up to each morning, the room was adequate as was the bathroom and the rooms were leaned regularly with sheets and towels being changed every couple of days. The staff were beyong helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them, they has a great rapore with all of the guests, we ate at the Hotel on a couple of occasions and the food was lovely. The included breakfast was fantastice with lots of choice and the staff would go through the choices with everyone on their first visit to the dinning room - easy to park and find near bus stop 21. The local beach had a Life Guard and the beach was always very clean and was visiteddaily by three Swans from the local lake. Plenty of watersports and beds, umbrellas etc. All in all it was a great stay and we would recommend the Hotel to both Families and couples young or old.
• Emmanuel (10/5): - Spiro and George were great hosts. The breakfast buffet was great with a wide selection. The beach below the hotel is one of the bedt on the island. The rooms are comfortable witj a large balcony overlooking the beach. We will definitely be back.

It has all the usual amenities and luxuries you'd expect and on top of that, the view of the sea is really beautiful and you get to see it from all the areas of the hotel: rooms, breakfast area, pool area. But what truly makes a difference, as mentioned by the many other guests, are the hotel owners - they make you feel like you're a friend and guest in their home and not in a hotel, despite this being a sizable hotel. Truly recommending it.

After 10 days of traipsing across Greece this was exactly what we needed to decompress. Sipping cocktails poolside and enjoying the tasty morsels from the snack bar, La Luna met and exceeded all of our expectations and needs. Great spot if you want a less crazed experience from what the rest of Skiathos offers.

• Jake (10/5): Beautiful hotel & Island - Absolutely stunning hotel with beautiful views. Food was great, prices at the bar were reasonable and the staff were extremely friendly. Easy bus connections to the town and beaches. Only exception was our shower was not in the best condition, you had to hold the head of the shower.

• Nulie (10/5): - I work in the hotel and hospitality industry and therefore I tend to a bit critical at times, I can’t this time, this hotel has it all, views are stunning, rooms are lovely and comfortable, food and drinks spot on - lots of choices and the bar prices are good inc Cider on draught. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff compliment this hotel, nothing is too much trouble, they work tirelessly so that you enjoy your stay and they are very warm and kind natured guys. Game changer for me as wont stay anywhere else again when in Skiathos.

The views are fantastic, due to the high position, but I would just mention that whilst there are lifts at each level if you have difficulty walking you will need to request a room on the first level as the hotel is situated on a very steep incline.

The hotel is beautiful and the breakfast delicious with so much choice. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is so clean the rooms are spotless. All the staff work so hard. The area is beautiful.

• John (10/5): Relaxing holiday - Very Clean hotel in great location with a short walk to a stunning beach .The staff were all lovely people very friendly and helpful. George one of the managers gave us a lift to a local restaurant when we were finding difficult to get a transfer to the restaurant. The Chef Vaios takes great pride in his work and again very friendly .He makes different cakes each day which form part of the breakfast which is varied and high quality. The barman Demitrios is a star has great sense of humour and performs a Greek dance at the Hotel BBQ on a Sunday which is impressive. The staff were all likeable and so sociable it rubs off on the holidaymakers providing a great atmosphere at the hotel. The rooms were very clean and we had a very nice view from our hotel Balcony. We ate lunch at the hotel most days as it was so nice .We were accompanied by our 2 daughters of 18 and 21 and all of us enjoyed our stay at the Hotel .We would highly recommend this hotel and would book again when visiting the Island.

The accommodation we stayed was what we expected from the pictures and we really liked how bright and modern the room was. Having stayed at the Skiathos Palace previously we are likely to return next year to La Luna.

• Brian (10/5): A great place to stay. - Our room was spotless, everything was new. Shower was great, and the fridge was a great benefit. Cleaned, and clean towels every day, bed linen every 2nd day. Spiros and George literally cannot do enough for you. Breakfasts were great, and the poolside bar had everything you could want. The barbeque every Sunday is well worth the money.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic views - Great hotel lovely friendly staff and spotless everywhere ... had a great bbq on the Sunday night which was really tasty !!! If I had to moan about anything it would be .... what time do some people get up to put a towel on a sunbed 😕 Never really bothered us we were a group of 4 and spent one day out of 10 by the pool the beach was a short walk down the hill and was amazing ... we looked out one morning at 7 and all the beds were gone !!! Saying that it didn’t spoil our holiday in any way and will be looking to go back again next year .... many thanks to all the staff that looked after us so well

• Sue (10/5): Lovely hotel with great views - This is a lovely hotel with great views where the staff are extremely helpful, the cleanliness is first class and the food at breakfast is lovely with a wide choice. We had a car so getting around wasn't a problem, the hotel is situated between 2 bus stops so you do have to walk a little way along the road for the bus. Only negatives - it is about 500 metres to the nearest tavernas for which you have to walk along the road. We were given a lovely room with a big balcony, however not all the rooms are of this standard as friends of ours who were there on a package were not at all happy with their ground floor room and asked to be moved, this was done as soon as possible by the hotel staff who were again very helpful and understanding
• Annette (10/5): - On our arrival which was quite late we greeted by Spiros one of the bubbly twin brothers who run La Luna it is a family owned hotel. Nothing was too much trouble even taking my husband to the hospital the next day as he was feeling very unwell. We met George on the second day both brothers couldn't do enough for you. We will definitely be looking to stay with them again, the hotel is perched up high and has such beautiful views of Trulos Bay, Skiathos is a magical place with a little gem the La Luna Hotel now one of our favourite places - Thanks especially to the brothers. George and Spiros from La Luna, were fantastic throughout our stay! They were welcoming, generous, and always helpful. The hotel is in a fantastic location. We will be returning again next year!

Only 150 metres to the beach and also the bus stop which takes you to many of the other beautiful beaches on Skiathos. Would 100 % recommend this hotel.

Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts we had were by far, the best we have ever had in any hotel. The sea views are fantastic and you are spoilt for several beautiful beaches within walking distance surrounding the hotel if you choose not to lounge by the pool.
• Susan (10/5): Had a lovely holiday from start to finish. - Had lovely greeting when arriving at Hotel and shown to a beautiful room which looked newly renovated. Lots of thought and detail had been put into room and we loved it. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful they all did an excellent job and were a great team of people.The holiday was one of the nicest we have had it was our 8th year going to the island of Skiathos and we have been to different hotels in that time but this is my favourite hotel.
• Alison (10/5): Wonderful! - What a gem! Beautiful grounds and pool area. Lovely clean, comfortable rooms with fantastic sea views. Anything we asked for was instantly provided by George, who also gave us lots of helpful information about the island, restaurants etc. Delicious food served most of the day by lovely Anita. Last but not least, a great atmosphere around the pool bar until late thanks to the very entertaining Stratos....it wouldn't be the same without him! Highly recommended, we will definitely return to this friendly part of paradise ☺️
