- Nola (8/5): Nice view. - The location and little balcony overlooking the water are the best features, plus the room was comfortable and the decor pleasant. The facilities didn’t quite match up to the expensive price. It felt as though they were being a bit too frugal with extras, eg the breakfast is very basic and only one coffee pod per person is provided for the stay. Just needs a little more attention, smoke detector light was flashing red!

- Laurence (3/5): Comfortable room dreadfully located. - The room was very modern, clean and well appointed. It's difficult to rate facilities that are concurrently both good and bad. While the room per se was very good, it was in a sort of internal "add on" constructed in what would have been a large public room. Consequently it had no window! So we had a very good room, albeit in an old pub at the seaside, but with no idea whether it was sunny, raining, or fog bound! Sitting in the room enjoying being near the coast was impossible. Heaven knows how somebody with claustrophobia would cope. There was another room in this "add on" and the sound of our neighbour's shower drowned out our TV when we finally went to bed, so the sound proofing was poor. By law hotel rooms do not have to have windows, but I doubt many travellers regard them as optional extras! Future travellers to this hotel would be wise to know in advance if they are to be put into what is little more than an up market cell. We have certainly learnt a lesson.

Nice comfortable room, especially the bed and delicious in room breakfast. Bathroom a little tired but functional. And hotel downstairs served a great modern menu.
- Kerry (9/5): Bermagui Beach Views - Directly opposite the beach with a stunning view we stayed in the older style rooms directly above the pub. Generous size, stylishly renovated. Lovely town. It was mid week and off season so no problems with pub noise though this may be different on a weekend.

Wir haben einen Blick aufs Meer und konnten am Balkon Frühstücken und den Abend noch ausklingen lassen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, das dazugehörige Restaurant bzw. Bar sehr angenehm mit guter Qualtität. Wir kommen gerne wieder und genießen die Situation.

- Meredith (8/5): Very clean and perfect location. - The room was large and the bathroom was amazing. Very clean and tidy. I was concerned it would be noisy above the hotel but I didn’t hear a thing. Would definitely stay here again as the location is perfect. The parking arrangements were an issue for me as I had to carry my luggage to the street to take it inside as I was staying in the old part of the hotel. Also the stairs were a bit tricky with the luggage.

- Suzanne (10/5): Wonderfully comfortabe room with stunning views from private balcony - The room had a lovely private balcony (with table and chairs), and gave a view across to the expanse of lawn belonging to the Beach Club (adorned with fascinating sculptures for the Bermagui Sculpture week while we were there) to the ocean waves breaking on to the golden beach. Gulaga Mountain could be seen in the distance. The room itself is one of the best designed accommodation rooms we have experienced throughout extensive travels. There was plenty of cupboard space to be able to stow easily stow away all personal and travel items, the bed is super comfortable and a separate sofa great for relaxing (with a separate TV). A very conveniently planned nook had coffee-making and a sink, and basic utensils and plates. A light breakfast of high-end granola and the famous local Honorbread croissants was provide fresh each day. We had a feeling of generous hospitality, with 2 beach towels being provided, and extra supplies in the bathroom above bare necessity. It is a renovated historic property, and a lift would have been a great addition, but I understand not really practical. The lovely old wooden staircase with wooden balustrade was easily navigable.
