- Johanna (5/5): - View from the rooftop was amazing. There was no reception, staff wasnt present and only reachable via phone with delayed responses sometimes. The place was completely dark and looked deserted when I arrived. Interior is a bit tacky.
- Mesbahi (9/5): Brilliant - I th8nk a good business is set a neighbourhood garbage compactor that pays you for bails of co packed garbage in the area. Several nice german small garage garbage compactor vending machines that give money. The rubbish outside in the alley, also a cat vet sanctuary is also cool business.
- Sarath chandrasekara (8/5): -
- Lars (10/5): Really a nice place - The staff, the owner, the room, the hotel, it's really lovely, they are doing 5* out for this place, good atmosphere-
For people who like to feel the atmosphere in the old city and have a beautiful view from the rooftop

- Fabio (8/5): Very good -
- Dima_m (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amiram (8/5): Very good -
- Dmitry (7/5): Do not expect much "deluxe", and for a basic sleeping room + ensuite this is very fine. - Nice interesting location in the old city. Very responsive and helpful administrator. Clean, AC and hot water - all the basics are in order. Comfy shared spaces, especially rooftop terrace with great view. Was supposed to get "deluxe double room", what I got is two beds with two separate mattresses pushed together with the gap inbetween and just enough space around to stand upright, no promised fireplace obviously, not even a room for two chairs. Nothing remotely deluxe at all. At the price I paid after "discount" and "upgrade" just barely got my money's worth, instead of a deal.
So, it's a fine place for a sleep on a budget, with zero deal-breaking problems, simply don't expect much more, as the listing and pre-discounts price suggest.
- Marta (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing views
- Ekaterina (10/5): Exceptional - Though the way from the parking to the guesthouse with the luggage may be rather problematic, we absolutely loved the place. The evening we spent on the terrace of the guesthouse was the best time in Israel.
- Friedlinde (8/5): Very good - The room was located centrally. The guesthouse was verry difficult to find.
- Sergio (8/5): I recommend it except if you have a big luggage. - Very nice property and well kept. The location. It’s up on a hill and there are many steps. It is very tiring to get up there with a suitcase.
- Lisa (8/5): Nice place, good people. - The rooms are spacious. The common area is nice. The parking was difficult to find. The bed was quite stiff, and the pillows were as well.
- Suk (9/5): Superb -
- Victoria (10/5): A secret gem in Old Nazareth - The hotel is amazing, and it’s a pity it is so underrated. It is in the very heart of Old Nazareth, and the hotel itself is a very unique experience and an organic part of the old city. We didn’t meet the staff, but they did their best to provide everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. As other reviews mention, there is a lot of stairs, but the hotel informed us in advance.
- Carmen (10/5): Exceptional - The view. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was difficult to find.
- Julia (9/5): Superb - Location N/a
- Jean (10/5): Perfect! I really enjoyed - The house is very beautiful, near the town center made in antique style. The place is very peaceful and there’s big balcony on the top of the roof with amazing view on Nazareth. I really enjoyed.
- Mary (8/5): A quiet oasis not far from the old centre of Nazareth - It was very spacious and in a good location. Although it was operated from a distance, I received clear instructions on how to arrive and the key codes to enter the property. There was a slight problem with one of the rooms which was quickly resolved with a phone call. I felt fine there so there is nothing to say except that if visitors have a lot of luggage then there are many steps! However, the instructions also say this
- De (6/5): Pleasant -
- Baqleh (7/5): Good -
- Aeree (9/5): Superb -
- Sierra (9/5): Superb - I like the decoration of the house.
I enjoy the breakfast. It was not easy to find the hotel.
- Raquel (9/5): Cozy nice place in Nazareth - I didn't meet the host, but clear instructions were provided for everything - how to reach the property, how to self check in and where to find the breakfast. My room was quiet and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast. The place is easy to reach from the Church of the Annunciation, if you don't mind a few steps. The view from the rooftop terrace is great. I found the shower area a bit small, but it was clear from the pictures that it would be like that.
- Radoslav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Waheed (7/5): Good - The rooms are clean and comfortable, the public area was so beautiful and the WiFi there was excellent The location can't be reached by car you need to walk inside the old city to access the property which is not always convenient especially when you come back late and tired.
The WiFi in the room was weak
- Demetri (8/5): if we were younger, might be different story. - yousef, the owner wa ssuperb. he helped us with our luggages though thr place was hard to find but managed with his help. internet connection
- Anna (9/5): Superb - I got the instructions to get to the place, I found it helpful as it is not necessary to contact the host. Place was quiet and clean. There are cookies for your coffee. There is no shampoo.
- Mercy (9/5): hard to locate in dark, but lovely place. - location, staff hard to find in the dark
- Marina (9/5): Superb - The accomodations were nice with a good view of the city and good breakfast. I don't recommend people to bring luggage due to the stairs.
- Sue (8/5): very enjoyable - The breakfast was excellent and very delicious. There was far more than we could manage. It was up a lot of steps, but then so is most of Nazareth by the looks of things. If you have a problem with steps this wouldn't be the best place for you.
- Valentina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valentina (10/5): Most amazing stay! - Amazing stay, we had the feeling we traveled back in time! We will come back every time to travel to Nazareth - no better stay! And the rooftop terrace is breathtaking!!! N/A
- Andre (8/5): Inside the city!!! - Within a short walking distance, you will be close to everything in the city. if you are travelling with luggage you can struggle with the steps. Cars can not get close enough so you will have to carry your luggage all the way down to the hotel.
- Daniel (10/5): Simple but comfortable accommodation in the old city - My room was comfortable and clean.
There was no TV and I see this as something positive.
Location could not be better and the property has great views from the rooftop terrace. The old city of Nazareth is a maze: you will get lost but that's just part of the fun.
There are lots of stairs everywhere so both the property and the old city are not accessible.
- Joanna (10/5): All in all it was a great experience. - The property is clean, the facilities are good. I love their balcony on top which you will see an amazing view. plus the staff are nice. not the hotel’s fault but it is just hard to get into the hotel because the road is too steep and so many stairs to climb so don’t bring too much stuff because the parking is quite far. But it is walkable to the center/market and Basilica of the annunciation.
- Mauricio (1/5): the owner is was so I respectable - nothing the hotel is berry hide you need to walk to much
- István (9/5): Superb - Quiet rooms, comfortable sitting and dining area, perfect view from the rooftop. The host was very kind and provided many useful info on traveling in the country. The breakfest was tasty and more than enough. The citycenter is just a few minutes walk. From the free parking places there is a track to the guest house. Be prepared for steep streets and steps.
- Greg (10/5): Exceptional - Good location, close to city centre, churches and shops, clean apartament. This is just advisory, if you drive, roads are steep, so try parking at the top of the hill.
- Christophe (10/5): great place to stay with astonishing view from the trooftop terrace - Everything Nothing
- Marijana (8/5): Very good -
- Flavio (4/5): Disappointing. It does not deliver what it promises. - Disappointing experience. Too expensive for what it offers and does not deliver. The place is not easy to find, and, to make things worse, the owner is not able to give directions in the neighborhood (what a shame!). Once you find it, you realize that you cannot reach it by car (do not try it! also note: the parking is paid - if you find a spot -, and it is distant from the guesthouse, 200m of steep slopes up and down), and, if you or one of your mates have any mobility restrictions, you will regret being a guest there (steep slopes, ladders, slippery terrain).
The reservation in booking.com promised many items such as TV, cable channels, refrigerator, ironing facilities, hairdryer etc. But... no TV in the bedrooms; the one in the lounge, not working (when asked about it, the owner gave no answer); refrigerator, not in the bedrooms, but in a dining room (locked, of course), accessible in another floor after walking outdoors, for there are no indoor stairs communicating the different tiers (found it only after asking the owner about the fridge), ironing facilities (what?). Ok, one might say it seems too demanding, or picky, but, wait a minute and think, one paid for it, after reading the terms of the reservation!
Regarding breakfast: upon checking-in, I asked the owner (by phone) what time it would be served (I knew I would have to pay USD 15.00 for breakfast per person, according to my reservation). The owner simply told that there would be nobody to serve breakfast.
To be fair, yes, the rooms were very clean, but only this does not make up for lack of hospitability and professionalism from the owner, clumsiness and unwillingness to assist guests.
If you are a backpacker, up to 30 years old, the place might meet your expectations (mind the price, however!). But, if you have a family, children, any old person, you should better find a hotel around Annunciation Church (believe me!).
- Tine (8/5): Very good - A beautiful lobby with water, coffee and tea and comfy chairs. A big roof terasse with fantastic view. Charming rooms. You need a phone to check in - there is no one in the reception. The area around is very deserted in the evening.
- Adrian (8/5): Very good - A very lofty roof top view of Nazareth. This accomodation is not a good option for anyone challenged by a few steps! It was quiet and yet there was opportunity to meet other travellers in the very comfortable lobby room with tea and coffee facilities. Good communication from Yosef and a very comfortable nights sleep. The very steep hill into the car park in a small hire car! but very good to have a parking space within a short walk.
(9/5): Superb -
- Marek (10/5): Thank you for all 🕊️ - All is Perfect 🕊️
- Marc (8/5): Very good -
- Angelica (8/5): Good value for money - Comfortable, clean, good value for money. Good communication with the owner. nothing
- No (8/5): Small and comfortable hotel in old town with very good breakfast - You have to be prepared for the walk uphill to the hotel through the old bazaar - not easy with luggage! Once there, however, it is a nice, comfortable place with a shared living room and fireplace and views over the city. The breakfast was very good with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. There were very few other visitors and it had a homely feel to it that made the stay enjoyable For an older person, the location on the hillside made getting there quite tiring
- Anna (5/5): Passable -
- Irena (10/5): the host is available and very helpful, the property is highly maintained and only 4 min from the market and the square. - close to the Center, super clean and super cosy nothing
- Anton (8/5): Very good -
- Vivek (8/5): A must stay place with antique collection of artifacts . Rooftop with serene view of the Nazareth - A very good place with good host and nice ambience.
Closed to the city so that you can visit church and Market ,also vero near to bus station which is always available .
- Jerry (9/5): great base to explore Nazareth. the owner was so helpful and great communications - lovely little guesthouse only a few minutes from the market
- Marcelle (10/5): Exceptional - it is very clean very good service
- Marzanna (9/5): Superb - The property was beautifully done with a stone type theme, just gorgeous... I didn't like leaving 😕
- Russell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michel (7/5): Nice hotel in Nazareth - Beautiful building
Location is good Thé bed was not exactly straight… kind of 15 degrés on the left side.., easy to fix by the owner… Hard Eggs not well cooked, liquid… Disappointing… The hostel is very difficult to find, should add indications on the street….
except that, would deserve 8 on 10
- Joanna (9/5): Superb - Rooms had very basic furnishing but were made up with taste and had comfortable beds. Everything was very clean. Very good location in the heart of old nazareth. Very nice common space. Overall good value for money. Lack of some practical details in the bathroom (where to put or hang clothes)
- Jesse (5/5): Passable -
- John (8/5): Mensa Christi - The house is very nice, clean and have a really good view of the surrounding Church from the roof deck.
Access to the house can be tricky - you will need to get some direction when you book it (address & car park access) & need Googlemap or Waze.
To access car park - there is locked gate but you can enter via side door and you need to enter the pin number to the console to open the large gate (be careful the gate open outward, so don't park your car to close to the gate).
After you park and take your luggage - you will need to go down the steep hill till the end. There are 2 signs to the hotel, follow the arrow sign.
Mensa Christi is the one on the higher place, you will step up the hill to reach the gate - enter the pin again or ask around.
After that you need to climb extra steps to the house door entrance - pin the access code again (so you will need 3 different codes - the owner will supply you).
The house is very comfy and breakfast provided from 8am - going down to city area/Church you have to go pass market alleys - remember to trace back your access as you can get loss.
Good luck
- Cesar (10/5): Best place to stay in Nazareth - This was exactly the place that makes you like home and Yousef is a honest, kind and friendly person always doing everything to make you feel comfortable. The place is so clean and beautiful! I feel so relaxed. Many thanks!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hosts are very kind, breakfast is on time, fresh and tasty. Location is overseeing the city and in the evening it's beautiful. Bed was comfortable.
- achikam reuveni (8/5): very good value for money - I really enjoyed my stay at the guesthouse ,very good service , nice room ,free wifi,Good breakfast
- Judith (4/5): - When we arrived at the Mensa we discovered that we could not drive close to the Guest house. As one of our family uses a cane and cannot walk far we were unable to stay there. The person at the reception desk was not very helpful to our guide.
- Micha (6/5): Difficult check-in - Few issues during check-in. Here are only some of them: The owner was not available on the phone nor replied to emails and sms. After we found another phone # via call center he claimed that he respond but non of them were found.
He said he will send instructions for check-in details but still non.
When we arrived the shower was dirty and no wifi reception
Also, keep in mind it's 2 twin bed rooms, not double bed.
Særlig fordi stedet har flott utsikt over byen.
- JORDI (10/5): ACONSEJABLE - INCREIBLE SITUACION.
