I'd return! - I loved the staff, they were friendly I loved the vibe of the place I loved the onsen and how the place looked This was the only Ryokan I've been to in Japan that had a yukata in my size (Im fat) And our attendee allowed us to buy a wine that we tasted during dinner! We brought it back to our homeland! The food was a hit and miss. The dinner was good, but the breakfast had way too many sour and bitter flavors. Though I don't blame Yamayuri no Yado for this. It turns out that traditional japanese breakfast is just not for me.

• Chunwen (9/5): - 地處花卷溫泉區，交通對不是自駕旅客應該很不方便，我是自駕也有停車場可停，入住後進到客房比我想像中的小，但還可接受，內部設施看出來有整修過，算滿乾淨的。我覺得最驚艷的就是他的快席料理了！現在要有這種整套的日本傳統快席料理的飯店不多了！晚餐吃的很飽很滿足，泡湯也很棒，那天入住是平常日，跟兒子包場！半露天的會有男女湯輪替時間，所以要依律定的時間進去，湯的品質也很棒，真溫泉～稍微會有點硫磺味，房間也有小湯，你如果不想去大浴場也可以在自己房間泡。晚上會有員工幫你舖床，這個就是傳統的日式溫泉旅館！很棒，員工雖少但服務都非常親切及積極。隔天要退房前員工還幫我們拍了張全家福！謝謝他們～整體住宿感覺是不錯的！對了，還有膠囊咖啡機喝喔～ 4人房稍微小一點，其他沒有

• Louis (9/5): Gorgeous cultural experience you couldn’t find anywhere else. - The location is stunning and extremely pretty when snowing. The onsen bath is legitimately direct hot spring water and the dinner experience was basically art. The people complaining about the stairs are ridiculous, there’s one flight of stairs. It’s quite remote, be prepared before you arrive.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. We loved the views and beautiful, quiet surroundings. The room and bathroom were large and spacious. The shuttle from the train station was terrific - we used it to and from the ryokan. Be sure to time your train arrival and departure to meet the shuttle bus times! The facilities are a little older, and the onsen was dated. Also the outside onsen alternates between access for men and women. But these were fairly minor issues for us.

• えり (8/5): - いつもはビジネスホテルに素泊まりですが、今回は贅沢して旅館に泊まりました。 雰囲気が良く、スタッフの方の対応も丁寧で安心して過ごせました。 今度はお食事付で泊まりたいです。

• MICHIKO (6/5): - 個室で囲炉裏があって、食事の雰囲気はとても良いと思いました。お料理の出し方やメニューも良かった。お風呂については、大きなお風呂に石段があって危ないといわれたので結局、そちらは入らず、部屋のお風呂だけ入りました。部屋でも温泉に入れてうれしかった。　　　　　　とはいえ、最初から足が悪いと話せば、急遽テーブルと椅子を用意してくれる宿もありました。やまゆりさんは、頭から無理と言われて、部屋で、座るたびに困りました。 知人が、やまゆりの宿が大好きで、私どもは、今回始めてでしたが、総合的には、また利用すると思います。

• Stephanie (9/5): A wonderful weekend getaway - The location in the autumn coloured mountains was really beautiful. The food is plentiful and so delicious- eating local cuisine around an irori fireplace was a wonderful experience! The room was nice and the bath was surprisingly deep. The room is a little dated and several things could be updated but it’s a minor detail. Also the space between the bathroom sink and the wall is very narrow, as you have to pass through to get to the bath and shower.
• チオコ (10/5): - 落ちつく部屋構えの中にモダンな雰囲気があり、お料理は囲炉裏を囲みとても美味しくいただきました。 20ポイントで一泊無料となるカードを持参しました。古いものなのでダメ元で出したところ、ありがたくも一泊分現金でバックしていただきました。 誠実な対応を嬉しく思いました。 以前あったウェルカムコーヒーを是非復活してほしいです🤗
• Verified traveler (10/5): 大変よい - 今回、館内の大浴場が工事中とのことで、別の日帰り入浴施設を使用することになり、その点だけが残念でしたが（ただし入浴施設の温泉はとてもよかったです）、その分安く泊まることができました。 その他の点は申し分ないと思います。部屋は快適で料理は大変おいしく、素晴らしい滞在となりました。

• Verified traveler (8/5): 和で可愛らしいお宿 - 囲炉裏で焼くイワナの塩焼き、とてもおいしかったです。朝ごはんのお米、それ以外も美味しく、美しい盛り付け、スタッフのサービス、とても満足してます。 あとは花巻や岩手県の食材だけにすると、来た甲斐があると思います。 温泉でお肌がすべすべになりました。温度もちょうど良く、ゆっくりできました。ミネラルウォーターのサービスは太っ腹。朝10時まで入れるので、朝ごはんの後にまた温泉に入れました。 0時に男女が入れ替わると説明ありましたが、一方に露天風呂がないことも加えていただければと思います。（予約時に書いてあったかもしれませんが覚えておらず） お部屋はかわいらしく、座布団もおふとんもふかふか。お香や浴衣のサービスも工夫を感じます。 台温泉は車がないと不便だと思いますが、静かに過ごせる場所です。コンビニありませんが、逆に貴重です。 なかなか行きづらいところだけど、良いところでした。

• Rika (4/5): ２度目はない。よその旅館にしたほうがよい。 - 天涯のあるお部屋に泊まりました。 マイナス点ばかりです。 ・部屋にお風呂なし ・網戸なし ・天涯は蚊帳の役目かと思いきや、上部が開いておりただの飾り ・洗面所も入口に簡易なものがあるだけ ・部屋は狭く、温泉も狭い ・宿の中は階段だらけで迷路のよう。ご年配のかたには厳しい ・食事は提供の際、おしながきはあるものの、説明はほぼなし。 唯一、お食事が美味しかったのが救いです。 施設が古いのは仕方ないとしても、この値段でこのクオリティはない。
