- Jan (10/5): Perfect stay in Småland! - This is a beautiful B&B in the Swedish countryside/Glass country between two lakes. Besides the modern room and a bathroom, you have a fully equipped kitchen to share with other guests. A really nice locally sourced breakfast is served with freshly made bread rolls, homemade sourdough, cheese, and cold cuts. The owners are friendly, always trying to help out and, simply, lovely. The hotel has its own farm shop and you can just take canoes and bikes. There is a big BBQ area, playground, saunas and, of course, the two lakes to swim in.

- Andreas (10/5): Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt - Wir hatten das große Glück, unseren Urlaub an diesem wunderschönen Ort zu verbringen und können es nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die persönliche Beratung durch Patrick war einfach herausragend. Er hat uns tolle Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen vor Ort gegeben, die perfekt auf uns persönlich abgestimmt waren. Die Atmosphäre ist unglaublich einladend und familiär. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die vielfältige Auswahl an Aktivitäten, wie der Boots- und Kanuverleih, sowie mehrere wunderschöne Spazierwege inmitten der Natur. Der weitflächige See strahlt eine solche Ruhe aus, dass wir sofort abschalten konnten. Es gibt viele idyllische Ecken auf dem Areal, an denen man die Natur genießen kann – von den ruhigeren Plätzen bis hin zur tollen Nestschaukel im Baum, die selbst unsere Teenager begeistert hat. Wir waren mit Teenager unterwegs, sind aber überzeugt, dass der Ort auch ideal für Familien mit kleinen Kindern, Paare oder auch Alleinreisende ist. Es gibt für jeden etwas zu erleben und gleichzeitig genug Raum für Ruhe und Erholung. Das Bio-Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut: selbstgemachte Aufstriche, Gemüse aus eigenem Anbau und eine Auswahl an frischen Zutaten – einfach ein Genuss! Wir mussten aufgrund einer Autopanne einen Tag länger bleiben, aber auch das wurde von Patrick schnell und unkompliziert geregelt. Da unser Appartement bereits anderweitig vergeben war, sind wir für den Verlängerungstag ins Hotelzimmer umgezogen. Überraschenderweise fanden unsere Teenager das Hotelzimmer sogar noch besser – sie fühlten sich dort viel eigenständiger und unabhängiger. Auch die Selbstversorgung war kein Problem, da die tolle Gemeinschaftsküche jederzeit zur Verfügung stand. Jetzt sind wir uns gar nicht mehr sicher, ob wir beim nächsten Mal lieber das Appartement oder das Hotelzimmer wählen sollen ;-) Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Patrick und Doro für diesen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder! -

- Natalie (8/5): Natur pur und schöne Location - Ödevata liegt ziemlich abgelegen (man ist auf ein Auto angewiesen), ist aber für Naturliebhaber und um einfach die Seele baumeln zu lassen toll. Das Frühstück ist klasse und super nachhaltig - Highlight war das Birchermüsli und die Wurst/Fleisch!! Man kann von dort aus Elchparks und die Glasbläserei in Kosta Boda anschauen.

- Andrea (10/5): - Das Hotel ist wunderschön in der Natur gelegen. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir wurden von den Gastgebern sehr herzlich empfangen. Doro und Patrick führen das Hotel mit sehr viel Herzblut und legen dabei großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit. Wir haben von ihnen viele Tipps und Infos für unsere Unternehmungen bekommen. Die beiden strahlen eine tolle Ruhe und Gastfreundschaft aus, so dass man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Das Frühstück war großartig. Bei gutem Wetter konnten wir draußen zwischen den Obstbäumen frühstücken. Es gab u.a. Eier von den eigenen glücklichen Hühnern, selbst gebackene Brötchen und Brot sowie Obst und Gemüse aus eigenem Anbau. Unser Zimmer war super sauber und wir konnten zu zwei Seiten ins Grüne schauen. Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche, in der man selbst kochen kann. Diese ist top eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Unser Aufenthalt war leider nicht lang genug, um die vor Ort angebotenen Boote auszuprobieren. Zum Wandern und Fahrradfahren ist die Gegend auf jeden Fall perfekt. Und wer einfach mal nichts tun möchte, findet auf dem Gelände viele schöne Plätze zum Verweilen. Parkplätze sind großzügig und ausreichend vorhanden. Von uns also eine absolute Empfehlung! Wir werden in unserem nächsten Schweden-Urlaub ganz sicher wiederkommen.
- John (10/5): - Gemoedelijk, rustig en toch wat reuring door verschillende gasten, groepjes fietsers, groepen vrienden, familie feesten etc. Toen wij er waren was het redelijk rustig. Verder is het oer Zweeds, het hotel, de huisjes en schuren er omheen, de natuur met bossen en meren. Ontbijt met eigen produkten en zelf gebakken brood. Mogelijkheid om zelf te koken en bbqen. Genoeg zit gelegenheden zowel buiten als binnen. Supermarkt op rijafstand ongeveer 8 km. De beheerders zijn vriendelijke en hardwerkende mensen en doen alles om je bezoek zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Al met al het is er fantastisch. een echte aanrader.

- Paweł (9/5): Ideal base for shorter or longer car trips around the area. - We visited Odevata during a family trip to Scandinavia. The facility met all our expectations. It is located in a secluded area with plenty of greenery, places for walking, swimming, fishing, and playing (e.g., a trampoline). We stayed outside the main building, with access to a fully equipped kitchen and a barbecue area. The host was very friendly and always available. It’s an ideal base for shorter or longer car trips around the area. The shower had a design flaw that caused water to leak onto the bathroom floor.

The location is beautiful and offers with the chickens and sheep a cosy countryside feeling, while providing a high level of comfort. You can do canoeing, fishing, swimming, walking in a wonderful nature, and there is much to play with for children. Additionally you are in a great spot for day trips, like glasriket, elk park, and Kalmar.

Inte så stort frukostutbud men väl så trevligt med närproducerat, egenodlat och nybakat. Lugnt, tyst och härligt område. Många möjligheter att sitta i den stora trädgården. Bra tillagningsmöjligheter i köket och på grillar ute.

- Tamas (8/5): nice family hotel in middle of Swedish nature - not a typical business hotel but since this was closest to our major factory in Emmaboda I gave a try and was good for 2 nights stay. I like the sustainable approach, very welcoming hosts. was no food available during the night anywhere nearby ( some snacks in a vendo machine and filtered water would be great addition) communication via booking.com messages could have been quicker ( they informed me about no food availability but only on the day of arrival -didnt check while traveling). Although breakfast was ok, very limited selection, but everthing looked fresh, maybe an omlette would be nice to add…
- Tim (9/5): Superb - Incredible location, lots of space, quiet area, great kitchen, good bathrooms, good wifi Small televisions, a bit expensive (booked in late November, house was almost empty).
- Inga (10/5): - Away from it all, the best night sleep I had in years. Lovely rural and authentic Swedish private eco-hotel in the woods by the lakes, with a great history, the owners reinvented it with sustainability-focused ethos. You can hire a boat to enjoy fishing on the lakes, or go hiking along the Wilderness trail around the property in pine woods, which was magical.

- Jörgen (10/5): Härligt weekend boende i Småland - Fräscht och mycket trevligt boende med bra och hjälpsam personlig service. Fina och moderna rum med tillgång till fullt utrustat kök. Även möjlighet till vedeldad bastu på flotte vid sjön samt trevligt orangeri.
- Rebecca (10/5): Mysigt hotell på landet - Supermysigt hotell på landet. Möjlighet till bastu på sjöns finns, använde inte det denna gången. Kommer absolut tillbaka. Extra bonus för söta ankor :)

- Rie (8/5): Skønt ophold i smuk natur. - Skønt ophold i naturskønne omgivelser og søde værter. Kan kun anbefale at booke ophold her. Et eneste lille punkt som kunne være bedre, er wifi forbindelse på værelset.
- Peter (10/5): Rent, fräscht, tyst och prisvärt - Nyrenoverade rum med hög standard, väl i klass med den standard som erbjuds hos de större hotellkedjorna (om inte bättre). Positivt att det fanns ett gemensamt pentry, vilket möjliggjorde tillagning av egen middag.
- Uros (10/5): Quiet hotel, beautifull surroundins, good service - Very comfortable hotel surrounded by nature. Room was clean with good light, with view on a lake. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and big. It was very quiet, can't remember when I slept so good. Breakfast offer was good, with locally grown foods - ham, sausages, eggs, honey... Service was excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful. Reception is not working whole day, but there is phone number that you can call and reach somebody (there was also few phones at different locations at hotel and nearby buildings that could be used). Phone signal is not so good, there are some areas without reception. Internet in hotel is fast and reliable. Surrounding area is beautiful, close to hotel are few lakes and forest. It is possible to rent fishing equipment (pole, lures, boat with engine, permit etc) for very good price, very cheap. Basically for less than 20 euros you cold have fun for whole day. This is my new favorite in this area, worth visiting again. TL;DR: If you are staying in this area, this hotel is excellent choice.

- Mette (10/5): Super dejligt sted ved skov og sø. - Vi boede 2 nætter på Ødevata. En dejlug oplevelse. Et skønt sted i den svenske natur. Mange muligheder for aktiviteter. Værelset var flot, rent og pænt.eget flot toilet og badeværelse. Der var fælles køkken i fin stand. Malin lavede dejlig morgenmad. Et sted vi kunne tænke os at vende tilbage til om sommeren.
- Mats (8/5): - Ett väldigt trevligt ställe som ligger avskillt och lugnt. Väldigt fräscht och fint. Det enda som var dåligt var täckningen på mobilnätet (Telia/Halebop) fanns enbart sporadiskt. Men trevligt läge och personal. Rekommenderas
- Göran (10/5): Positiv överraskning - Utmärkt ställe, fin natur, vackra sjöar och fina strövområden. Sov gott och frukosten smakade väl. Rummet rymligt och fint inrett. Hela byggnaden är en trevlig upplevelse.

Underbara omgivningar ger en bra inramning. Är man dessutom intresserad av fiske, så måste det vara paradiset!

- Hanne (10/5): Tip top - Vi var meget meget tilfredse. Både med hotellet, værelset og Morgen maden. Fin og god betjening af Malin, som ejer stedet. Måske vil det være en god ide at gøre gæsterne opmærksomme på, at de skal have mad med og det er ikke muligt at købe noget på stedet.
