• Leigh (10/5): - Roomy and comfortable. High-end amenities including bath, kitchen and heated tile floors. Loved the washer/dryer in the apartment. There are two small steps that you need to mindful of but there are plenty of lighting options. Friendly dog greeted us.

Easy check in, highly upgraded room with beautiful oversized tile floors, upgraded windows and entry door, and the shower was luxurious with 2 shower heads. The kitchen was as described, small but with all staple items, like mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Our host was wonderful, and she made sure to tell us several times to ask her if there was anything else to make our stay more pleasant, so I asked and she delivered. Very peaceful backyard with lots of stars at night! Highly recommend!

• jeanette (10/5): Perfectly private - The place is amazingly beautiful. Easy to check in and a lovely host. Everything is private. Watched deer on the golf course in the evening. Dog friendly. She does have friendly dogs also. The double shower was fantastic. The only thing not perfect was the super high bed. A sturdy safe set of steps was provided to get in. But if you fall out of it you will definitely break. I would happily stay here again.

• Diane (8/5): - The room was clean with a lot of natural wood. The bed is large and also made of wood. For us, the bed was very noisy every time we moved. The shower is impressive. The room is downstairs and accessed through the yard to the back of the house. This is not a problem and a short walkway.
• Jane (4/5): Nice place but No heat & No help - It is a very 500 square-foot room with lots of amenities and very clean. The problem was there was no heat. It got down to 26°. I woke up and it was only 59° in the room and there was nobody on premise that answered their phone or could help. It’s a nice place as long as you don’t have an emergency. God forbid something happened with the locks or you couldn’t get in. There was nobody there to assist and my texts and emails all went unanswered. Stay at your own risk.
• Tim (6/5): - The owner had another unit at the driveway level, and after seeing that my wife was clearly handicapped, he chose to still show us to our room , which was at the rear of the property, down a long cluttered walkway, two sets of stairs , and a patio covered in pine tree needles.

I feel like the description is misleading and we never would’ve booked. We could also hear music and other noises from the house. We did not feel safe and left and stayed at another nearby hotel. I’ve called Expedia that evening for a refund and was told they would contact the owner and let us know. There has been no communication from either and no refund.

• Matthew (2/5): - Property owner was rude af. She Kept calling and texting me asking what time I was going to be back while I was trying to enjoy my time with my girlfriend. She freaking obnoxiously knocked on the door loud and repeatedly in the morning while we were still asleep. Then she had the nerve to ask us what time we were going to leave as if she were trying to chase us out of our rented room before our check out time. There wasn’t any toilet paper in the restroom. Towels smelled like tortilla chips. Shower water was Luke warm. Her dog came into our room and ate my dogs food. I will never ever ever stay here again. Waste of money and miserable experience. Don’t do it. Staying in a tent would’ve been 100x better

The bed and sheets were comfy, but the towels smelled like they had been in the closet a long time since they were washed. I prefer this over scented laundry soap, but a little fresher smelling would be better.

• Jessica (8/5): Natural Oasis with some Ruggedness - The natural setting of this lodging is beautiful and peaceful. We could have breakfast on a little terrace overlooking the golf course. Furniture is unique wood carvings ! The negative side is that cleaning is not included with this booking. We stayed several nights and after two nights without cleaning, trash piles up and the room becomes nasty. Your website says breakfast is included but it was not very clear. The lady simply says we can take what we want from a refrigerator which had some basic general things. It is not restocked and after several nights, it is pretty empty ...
• Dejah (4/5): - We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen over a month before our travel date and we were given a one bedroom with a king size bed, couch and mini fridge. The explanation was that the other room was already booked but no one bothered to contact us. We did get charged a lesser rate but it was still bothersome to not get what you had planned for.

A raised bed with a great mattress, cedar closet, and a 1st class bathroom with a double shower. If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it! You will be pleased.

• Sally or John (10/5): - The location and view from this property is beautiful; it's easy to find and close to all the city has to offer. We stayed in The Hideaway. Inside it was very cozy, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The bathroom was roomy with a large shower. The bed was very comfortable. We really liked the wood-burning stove. It kept us nice and warm. We enjoyed visiting with the host and her two dogs; they're so sweet! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. If I had to list any suggestions, I would ask for a more comfortable couch or other seating. The couch is a sleeper (pull-out bed) type couch and the cushions don't hide that fact. There is a tall wooden kitchen table with stools for chairs and then a cushioned bench at the end of the bed. Since I have a bad back I could not sit on the stools for long, and the couch wasn't too comfortable, so I spent most of the time inside on the bench at the end of the bed. This would not keep me from coming back. It is only a suggestion.
• Tsolhamo (10/5): - A perfect location and a great cute place to stay while visiting Pagosa Springs! Fabie, the host, was wonderful and very welcoming. She elevated our stay and connected us to PS-living. The room was well-appointed cabin-vibe place with things that helped us stay quite comfortably. We've never used a standalone gas-fireplace which helped us keep quite warm but took some patience to learn to adjust to the "metal-crackling" noise when it turns on/off while we are sleeping. But it's part of the experience so we got used to it after the first night. The bathroom was exceptionally well-done for the size of a cabin and it even had heated floor. We're from Vegas so we were excited to have our toes warm walking on the floor. ^^ Would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family, and anyone who's visiting PS!
