Guest Reviews
- Lana (4/5): - Place needs renovation as soon as possible ,entry door has no dead lock and it’s not safe, electrical receptacles not properly working (loosening connections constantly)beds kinda ok,smell in a room is not good, but to sleep one night is ok
- Rhonda (10/5): - .
- David (8/5): Red Fox Rocks - Great service by the owners, they went the extra mile and great location for a concert at Gillette. We walked there in 15 mins.
We will book again and again for our concerts at Gillette.
- Edgardo (10/5): - Happy with room
- Tracie (2/5): - We checked in, walked into room..left and got a room at Patriot place for a CHEAPER rate for Thursday night. It was old, out dated, and felt unsafe. There was a portable potty right outside our room. We came into town for a concert. Location is convenient but don’t expect much.
- Jamie (6/5): - The AC worked well, the sheets were nice and the water was hot. Overall - the room itself was pretty poor. There are no outlets in the bathroom or near any mirrors and the deadbolt on the door didn’t work. There was a broken window above the AC (the outside window, not the inside) and the shattered glass hadn’t been picked up. Basically, the room does not match the cost. You are paying for location, not quality. But the basic needs were met.
- Raymond (8/5): - It was close to the event that we were going to.
- Robyn (6/5): - We were heading to Gillette and this location is ideal. .80 walk to south side gate u can’t beat it and the motel is on the same side as the stadium which is convenient. Room was what I expected bit run down but was thankful for an a/c, clean bedding and they left waters. The down side was that the outlet next to the bed seemed to only work when the over head light was on. The cpap machine a family member uses was not used that night.
- Danielle Fair (10/5): - Owner was very friendly and accommodating to my last minute reservation.
- carissa (10/5): - Perfect motel for the night for the concert we went too, very clean and close to the stadium. Staff was so accommodating and welcoming. Called the day before for some information, he was so helpful. Definitely will stay again.
- Mark (8/5): - Friendly staff, and good motel and a great place to rest.
Close to everything you need
- Brian (6/5): - .
- Verified traveler (6/5): It’s a motel. Felt clean, great location. - If you are going to an event at Gillette Stadium the location is within a fairly easy walking distance, meaning you avoid the traffic and time required to get in and out of the stadium. We are glad we booked this accommodation, that being said this is simply a bare bones motel that we spent far too much money on. The bed is pretty firm and a full meaning it’s a bit tight for 2 people. The room didn’t seem very well ventilated and smelled a bit stale. The bathroom was actually pretty nice although it is very small and the shower head didn’t seem very well attached and there wasn’t a towel hook. I also wish that the curtain on the window to the parking lot wouldn’t leave a gap, because I felt someone could have peeked inside. The TV also could have been better quality. But it’s a motel, the room felt clean and the staff was kind checking in with us when they saw us. It was okay, but we spent over $400 for 2 night and that’s on us.
- Felicia (8/5): - It’s a cute property with a lot of potential but the room was a little dirty the bathroom you could tell was updated a bit but the room wasn’t
- Curtis (10/5): - I liked the price and how easy it was to pick a room.
- Anthony (6/5): - Didn't have power one morning. Went to the office and he said he would deal with
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Hello! I want to say before I go into any details, it was an over all good experience at the hotel minus a few things that could have been improved. Our first night we were supposed to check in was Wednesday the 19th. We tan a bit behind getting into town because we both worked. We must have missed the desk by 20 minutes to half an hour. The after hours contact was slightly frustrating and we paid for that night that we didn’t stay. They were very understanding, even though no one called me back the next day after I left multiple messages the night before, I had to call them back. Once we got in our room it was so chilly. The room temp was right below 50 and the heat didn’t appear to be working or at least working very well. I didn’t want to complain too much because after all what could they really do. In combination with the heat situation there was a huge crack under the door which constantly let in the cold wind gusts making it hard for us to use the little heat we had in. We ended up putting a towel over it all weekend. The only other somewhat big deal is there was some type of construction going on that started before 8 am on Saturday. With loud constant banging of hammers and yelling under the floors from the workers. I think it would have been more tolerable had anyone at any point knocked on our door or gave a call to my cell about what and how long things would be going on, plus the added info that the power would be randomly cut off for over an hour.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great location, average motel - My room smelled tobacco smoke and the shower head was falling apart. The location is great being near Gillette Stadium.
- Michael (8/5): - Excellent option for an overnight stay.
- Angel (10/5): - Great
- Lionel (2/5): Never again - The room was very musty, especially the bathroom. The floor tiles at the entrance to the bathroom were cracked and loose. The shower drain was super slow and caused the basin to overflow. The towels were dirty with black spots. I would not stay there again.
- Tim (2/5): Disappointing stay at very basic hotel - No one present at check-in. Property called us and said the rooms would be unlocked with the key inside the room. We didn't have enough towels and there was no one there to provide more. I get that this is a budget hotel but even for a budget stay it was disappointing. No desk of any kind. No amenities like coffee of any kind. Just basic bar of soap.
- Joseph (6/5): - Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
The room was in minor disrepair but nothing to ruin the stay. It's definitely not a fancy place, but it gets the job done.
Overall, if I needed a place to stay in the area, I would keep Red Fox in mind.
- Edward (10/5): - It was getting late and I found this place randomly, it’s not like hotels I’ve stayed in but the employees were very nice and I haven’t slept so good in a very long time. It was nice and peaceful, the bed was very comfortable. I will absolutely go back and true to traveling they were very accommodating. I’d take it over a chain any day.
- Mehul (2/5): - No room. Smelled like cigarettes
- IHM (10/5): - .
- Liguo (6/5): - good location on my trip to Boston
- Antoine (10/5): - Just spent the night after a concert. Clean little room. Comfortable bed. A good little motel. I’d use them again. L
- Adam (10/5): - owner was a huge help when my friends realized he left his phone behind, after we were halfway back to Canada.
extremly close to gillette, great spot for the game.
- Sheryl (10/5): - My girlfriend spilled her drink on her clothes and they washed and dried them for her! This was above and beyond!
- Edward (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay, it was perfect for going to Gillette Stadium. 10 minute walk for the concert we were going to. Definitely would stay here again.
- Adam (2/5): - Property is not clean especially bathrooms.
- David (2/5): - Rude dishonest service. Shady people. Gross
- Carolyn (2/5): - Lock broken on the door, tattered furniture with hardware hanging off, AC extremely loud, smelled.
- Rumpaporn (6/5): - The room smell bad. The property condition is not well take care. There is big bug inside the room. Good that the bathroom is newly renovated but should provide more amenities.
- Wensfild (10/5): - Everything
- Kimberly (2/5): - The room was dirty, cold, and smelled. The shower had mold in it.
We didn’t even stay there. We ended up driving home. Very disappointed
- Juderson (10/5): - Everything
- Christine (8/5): - Would like them to install lock latches on their doors
- Robin (8/5): - Good place for a quick stay. Easy to find and reasonably priced. Clean bedding, also had refrigerator and microwave.
- Brandi (4/5): - Very run down place. Not worth the price
- Roger (2/5): - The ONLY good thing about the Red Fox is the location near Gillette. I booked this through Expedia and the ratings turned out to be absolute lies. It appears to be a welfare lodging that charges exorbitant prices because of the shows nearby. This place is a DUMP. Unclean and in terrible condition, and felt unsafe. It was so bad my wife would not even consider sleeping in the bed, so we drove back home to Vermont that night!
I will never trust Expedia again, and of course I will stay far away from the Red Fox
- martin (6/5): - It was okay for one night
- Kevin (4/5): - Remodeling
- Gary A (10/5): - If you are looking to stay at the Four Seasons hotel, then keep looking, but if you need a walkable place close to Gillette Stadium, This Is The Place!!
- Amanda (2/5): - Room smelled and was dirty
- Catrina (8/5): - The room served it purpose. And was super close to the venue which was great.
- Amy (4/5): - Not as presented online, we felt unsafe the entire night, the lock barely latched, tv didn’t work, no outlets in bathroom, 1 outlet for the whole room…couldn’t get out of there fast enough in the morning.
- Steve (6/5): Tidy but scary - The photographs on the site do not show the motel in its current state. While the room was tidy and clean, the motel looked run-down (I think the sign is almost illegible from the road). Because there is a simple turn lock on the door handle, I did not feel entirely safe. 130 a night seemed expensive for this sort of motel, and if I had driven past it before booking, I would have chosen elsewhere.
- Patrick (2/5): Hairs and other pieces of something on sheets - Sheets were not clean. There are human hairs on them. We did not feel comfortable to stay so we drove home.
- Kevin (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Tom (10/5): - Just a friendly atmosphere and needed smiling face.
- Karen (10/5): - A quick trip up the street brought you right to Patriots place. Very convenient place to stay. The only downfall was no closet or cubbie to hang your clothes.
- Kostya (10/5): - For the price I've paid, I would say that my expectations were exceed.
- CHRIS (8/5): - I checked in late so I wasn’t used to their process, but one of their staff helped me.
- Kevin (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Tazeem (6/5): - I liked how the room was until I tried to use the tv with my wire for Amazon, it kept shutting off every time. I also use this room for a late valentines surprise. I was suppose to get my $50 refund back but it was not fair how I didn’t not get it back.
- Mary (8/5): - The beds were firm in a good way got awesome sleep my back never felt so good
- Brendan (8/5): Good stay, clean room. Close to Gillette - Clean motel room, staff was friendly. Very close to Gillette stadium. Alot of tailgating people at the motel. Good stay, no complaints.
- Paul (6/5): - This place is a dump but the service people were very nice and very friendly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Inexpensive alternative to pricey hotels - Great location. No frills. You get what you pay for, but we just needed a place to crash at night and this place hit the spot.
- Mary Beth (10/5): - The staff was so kind! The gentleman even called us to see if we needed a late check in because we were attending a sports event. We arrived after the game to a very neat and tidy room.
- Mark (10/5): - I was a lil nervous due to past reviews...the out side looks like a motel but the room was updated, a/c cold, great shower pressure, but the best part was the bed! Most comfortable bed ever stayed in at any hotel or motel. Definitely worth the money to not have to deal with traffic and walking distance to Gillette!
- Steven (10/5): - Nice for a motel.
- William (2/5): - The room was overpriced at $78. Maybe $35 would have been acceptable. The room was dirty and pieces of baseboard and wall were missing. No clock radio and mattress was an air mattress. No outlet in bathroom and no toilet paper dispenser. Expedia should omit this place from their list.
- Dan (4/5): - The plugs where falling out of the wall, possible blood on the ceiling, and the small towels were as annoying as the rude Customer Service. But the beds and the pillows where comfortable...
- Oderto (2/5): Poor - Burn holes in sheets. Different matching pillows. No heat. Took 15 min to turn on. Bathroom was good. Out dated furniture. Costumer service was great. Needs a renovation to rooms maybe all the rooms as well.
- Nicole (2/5): - Nasty and unsafe i didn't stay
- Justin (2/5): Would not recommend - Hard bed stains on comforter died flies on ceiling didn’t even stay. Worst motel I ever seen
- David (2/5): ick - I understand that because of the location and the even that weekend that the price would be inflated but the condition of the room is poor and paying THAT much $ for a single night should at least buy you a small kitchen kitchen and semi comfortable beds.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It would be better if the bathtub can be more clean
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Bed Bugs.... :-(
I was bitten by bed bugs & after 9 days my 9 bite marks are stilling itching & unneeded for the $500 cost. I’am disappointed as this is a family run business & want these people to succeed. Unfortunately the mattresses were stained & it didn’t look to be very clean as the room is drastically outdated.
I would be happy to photograph my leg to show the sustained bed bug bites. We’be Had to bomb our vehicle & home. Think twice before booking a place they had 2 stars...

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Came at 10:00 to be locked out from the front desk. After I rang a doorbell covered in spiderwebs a lady poked her head out from a window and started talking to me. When the person at the front desk told me my credit card company rejected the payment I immediately left and found a better hotel. Did not feel safe here at all and the building is straight off the freeway. Do yourself a favor and find a better hotel
- Verified traveler (2/5): Shabby and smelly. - I was shocked at the condition of the room. It had a terrible odor from the moment we walked in the door and was in beyond shabby condition. The walls and doors were filthy.
I paid almost $400 (not refundable) for the hotel because it was near a concert at Gillette stadium. I wasn’t comfortable to even use their towels or be touching the linens on the bed, in fact I did not sleep at all, and laid a sweatshirt down so my head would not touch anything.
I would rather drive home than ever stay any place like that again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hit or Miss but okay overnight stay - Smells damp. Had to turn on fan to air it out. Need to have more outlets to charge personal devices.
- Verified traveler (8/5): fun times - nice room
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It very nice and clean and they where very helpful
- Michelle (8/5): - The property is dated but the room we were in was recently updated. New carpet, bathroom, paint. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. It was pricey since we stayed there for a Patriots Sunday night game and every hotel seemed to raise the prices for that night. Closest walk to the stadium which was great.
- rusli (10/5): So good - It was great and quite and slept well
- Nezi (10/5): - The personal attentiveness of the owners competing in a major corporate market arena. The value was superb.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Never again. - Well - it was clean. And it was very close to Gillette Stadium.
- Jebediah (8/5): Go Pats! - Great location to Gillette!
- Tania (2/5): - Unbelievable that they can charge you over 400 for one night in a facility that didn’t even give you a parking spot. Smells terrible and in great need for renovations. Looks like squatters live there. Door doesn’t even shut properly. Did not feel safe. Would not recommend this place to anyone
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not worth the increase prices - Staff was nice but rooms aren’t. Smelled of various types of smoke. Exterior door had gaps where daylight could be seen. Just felt dirty.
- Brian (6/5): - It is close to Gillette Stadium.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay Away - Absolutely disgusting. Close to Gillette but not worth it. We couldn’t even bring ourselves to stay here. Paid an ungodly amount (non-refundable) for a filthy, smelly, out dated room that i wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs!!
- Marc (6/5): Fashion over function - So the comforter was nice the upgrades in the bathroom were nice but to tightof a space Wi-Fi worked good. Got a good night's rest I guess for one night stay. Hard to find a place under a hundred bucks in that area anyways so it's fairly priced
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The price was too expensive, they increased it due to concert at Gillette Stadium
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Needed a place for an event at Gillette Stadium. This sufficed. The room was fine. The over accommodations are like stepping into a time warp-- very dated. That's about all I'll say about this motel.
