Trevor (3/5): Poor hotel - Room clean,bed comfortable. Hotel was very much past it's best and old fashioned. There was no hot water during our entire stay. Free breakfast didn't seem to exist and no communication with staff to find anything out. Door to room locked via a prehistoric bolt and padlock contraption. No toilet roll.

For the same price, there are better rooms. They could’ve included breakfast at this price as well. They show the heritage building in the picture but they kept me in another building in the corner.

Tea/Filter coffee was great as well. Rooms were a little old-style. Front-desk, rooms and restaurant were not in the same building. To access each you might need to get out of each separate buildings.

The property charges different rates compared to rates shown in booking.com, and will additionally charge 42-45% mention as gst, property tax, surcharge etc etc etc! wen questions wer asked, he reduced it! It was pure scam!!! The property doesn’t stand with the parameters mentioned, it’s between few old building having no proper ventilation. Cab reach hotel with great difficulty due to the narrow roads to the hotel, so most of them denies drop n pick up. Hygiene and cleanliness to the worst! Rooms won’t be cleaned or arranged before the check in. If informed the staffs, they never care..It was worst decision I choosed the hotel and paid the advance fully

Servi (8/5): Good and comfortable stay and a place that feels familiar and nice. - Friendly staff that responds to questions. Local food is good and tastes well. the voucher system for WiFi is sometimes not so easy, but once data are entered, it works well.

Mohammed (3/5): The location and the breakfast was the best experience. - Breakfast was the best although not included in the hotel price. The hotel is ancient, needs renovation, the bathroom did not gave a wendow, which resulted in bad odour and humid environment.

Durvesh (5/5): Not a pleasant experience for the money spent. - Location is nice, quality of room is okay Staff does not attend everything. You have to ask multiple times for housekeeping. Room service timings are restricted. Overpriced for the quality of room and service provided. I had taken 2 rooms, one did not have cold water and the other one did not have hot water and no one willing to attend.

Pappa (6/5): Classic, but a bit gloomy - Big room. Big lofty spaces all around, inner courtyards. Somewhat gloomy, did not get that "old classic heritage" feel one might expect from a place like this. But might be due to it being rather empty and quiet.
Jamadagni (7/5): Good - My room was in an annex and clearly had not been planned out properly. The "climb" to the bathroom was arduous. The positioning of the switches was bad. The length of the telephone chord made it difficult to have a normal conversation from the center of the bed. Stinky smelly bathroom. Liquid soap dispenser had not been filled up. The dull white towels were turning a light brown. These are thing that the management should look into.

Fernande (9/5): In total we had a very happy time at the Taj Mahal Hotel. - We had been to the Taj Mahal many years ago and were delighted that in the intervening years the rooms had been renovated and made more comfortable. Years ago there was a more elaborate breakfast menu with fruits, such as fresh papaya, melon etc available. Sadly this was not available anymore. The staff in the restaurant were somewhat chaotic. Several times they forgot about our orders and had to be reminded again.
Mohammed (4/5): I have to struggle literally for everything I need, like room , bed covers etc. they are not able to - Only food was ok The room initially given to me was completely different from the online photos shown. Bad smell and not maintained well.
Ajay (8/5): Old heritage Hotel, stay for visting old hyderabad charm. Restaurant is top class- 100% good - Room are large, old time, heritage hotels. Low water pressure in taps of the bathroom.
