Kael (4/5): Don't be fooled just by looking the pictures on the website, it is really not the same at the hotel - the staff was great, they knew how to speak english, the food was very good too. I recently stayed at The Crew Express Hotel in Medan, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The cleanliness was not up to standard. There was a strong cigarette smell in the bathroom, and I found tissue paper left behind the TV from the previous guest. The walls were dirty, which really impacted the overall feel of the room. To make matters worse, the hotel didn’t accept credit cards, even though their website clearly stated that they did, which caused a major inconvenience since I only had a card with me.

Roxane (9/5): Great Hotel for a night before catching your flight - Great location, clean and spacious room for a person. Hot shower, good wifi. Free shuttle to the airport of Medan. There is a restaurant with a big menu but only fried rice or noodles were available. Not a big deal but a bit disappointing.

We took a Grab the next day, but when the driver saw us he wanted to double the amount. With help from the staff we got a shared taxi. The choice in breakfast was toast or Asian and no fruits.

Fay (6/5): Pleasant - Good for a one night stay to be close to the airport. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers free shuttle bus services to the airport which is great. Upon check in, our room wasn’t cleaned but we were swapped to a clean one no problem. Both the rooms we had smelt smokey, and the breakfast was poor.

The airport shuttle came at 3:00 am, they have shuttles only at specific times. Not much to do in the immediate area but a good place to stay as a transit hotel.

Rooms could do with updating. Communal areas lovely, rooms not so great. Pillows hard and no handsoap in bathroom. Get what you pay for I guess, cheap and basic.

There is a stand outside selling nasi goreng and mae goreng (walk out and go right) very delicious and the family was so nice and appreciated the sales. The shuttle is very inconvenient times and we had a four hour gap and there seemed to be no wiggle room so we paid for a grab instead. Water fill stations were good otherwise very bare accomodations. They say there is a rooftop terrace on here and there is nothing of the sort, I think they mean ground floor terrace which had lots of tables

But the staff give us a smoking room and very very very smelly.. But when we arrive already late midnight and we very tired so just accept it and leave the hotel after few hours. Breakfast no many choices. If you dun take spicy food then you only can eat bread and jam. Even boil egg also with chilli.
Mimi (8/5): Good stay for transit purposes. - The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The hotel also provide free shuttle service to and from KNO Airport. The aircond in my room didn't feel cold at all. Just because I arrived late at night and will check out early in the morning so I just bare with the "warm" condition. The bathroom also need a deep cleaning.

The room has no window and smells a little bit. The breakfast is rather sober and indonesian cuisine but was okay. The staff is friendly but we couldn't communicate very well with them because their English was not that good.

The more worrying thing was at 4.30am a man somehow unlocked the door and came into our room, on asking reception they did not care or seem to see what the problem was... 2 females in a room and this happened with no care. Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient to airport for overnight stopover - A good overnight stay close to the airport. Nothing else to do in the neighbourhood. Very nice breakfast. Disappointed that there was no free shuttle from airport which I thought there was going to be when I booked the hotel. I sent an email to the hotel on the day we were to arrive and was told that the shuttle was only available for going from the hotel to the airport. So we had to take a taxi.
