• Tom (10/5): We really enjoyed our trip to Clarens and the central location of the accomodation - The under floor heating in the room was great during cold weather. The central location meant we could park our car for three days and walk to all of the events, shops and restaurants. The staircase up to the first floor is a bit narrow when carrying a suitcase.

• Barry (10/5): Exceptional value and delightful staff - Fantastic friendly staff, extremely comfortable spacious room with a wonderful fireplace. Excellent shower. In the middle of town with loads of dining options close by. Great view. Great bath. Shower screen a little dated but without a major refurbishing it’s the best option.

• Hein (8/5): Perfect location comfy bed and spacious with friendly staff - It was close to everything and I think if you stay for weekend it is a fantastic place with little stoop Infront of your flat and the restaurant below. I think the TV can be position in spot so that you can watch from the comfort of your bed because you there to relax. I also think the restaurant below must keep to their word when music will stop otherwise, I have no complaints

• Gary (8/5): Will certainly book Room No8 at the Red Mountain House again! - The Red Mountain House was plum centre in Clarens and located above a traditional Italian Restaurant which was equally impressive. Despite the busy season and centrality of the place, it was quite on the night we stayed there. The bed was comfortable and spacious. An added bonus was the huge balcony overlooking the park - Room 8. Two areas that could be improved! The TV was poorly place on a low coffee table and not at all easy to view - particularly lying in bed! The shower tiles could do with a bit of de-moulding.

• Debbie (6/5): Enjoy exploring Clarens - It is located in the town centre and really accessible to everything. REally fun It was unbelievably noisy. Our room was situated on top of a restaurant in the front of the building. The noise from the restaurant was hectic. No possibility of an afternoon nap. The late evenings were difficult as the noise went on until the last staff member locked up. It is not the place to stay if you want a rest.
• Frederick (10/5): Amazingbexperience - Violet was amazing!! Since it was my wife's birthday, I requested flowers, champagne and a chocolate cake to be placed in our room as a surprise. We received a bottle of Pongraz champagne and a lovely cake for which I paid a very fair price, and a bunch of wild flowers. Loved the whole experience!! Thank you Violet and Red Mountain! We will certainly visit again! Nothing! Everything was superb. Location excellent!

• Debbie (9/5): Arty stay in Clarens - Clarens is a busy little town with lots of shops and eating spots. So walking is essential. Position of this accommodation is certainly the best in the town. Easy to access restaurant s and the centee square. Rooms are large and spacious. Being in the centre of town makes it quite noisy at night. But restaurants close by 9 pm. So everything settles by 10pm

• Maureen (8/5): Excellent stay. - The location was excellent. The room was spacious and neat. Decor was beautiful. The room was on top of the entrance to the restaurant. Smokers will smoke just outside the door or on the veranda. The smell of smoke was quite disturbing. The bed was a bit hard.
• Marikie (8/5): Clarens bird's eye view. - On the square between all the hussle and bussle, yet removed from it all as we were elevated on the first floor. We enjoyed our lovely balcony in the sun under the big tree while observing the passersby. Bocca di Lupo once again accommodated our food order which was Italian cuisine. Dont book the room if you want to be in a quiet area. Could do with some space to put our stuff down - both in the bathroom and bedroom. The room needs a shelf/server at the door for bags, coats and travel gear.

From 7pm - 5am. We left and booked in at another guest house. No refund, no email no message from the establishment.
