• Pamela (6/5): A clean place to sleep and shower. - It was nice and clean. Construction was very aggravating and inconvenient. The unit is basic and design was strange. the bed was terribly uncomfortable.

• Brittney (10/5): Beautiful view of city & ocean, very clean and quiet unit. - We usually stay looking directly at the ocean, but this unit you can see the city and the ocean. Very different if you’re use to only seeing ocean, but would definitely stay here again. The view was still very beautiful even seeing both city & ocean. The view was awesome, the room itself was great. Only thing is it needs some updated cookware and the bed…..The bed was comfortable but the noise it would make just walking by and bumping into it was crazy. My husband and I woke up each time one of us moved the slightest bit due to the bed making so much noise with the slightest movement. Other than the bed and updated cookware, we would absolutely recommend this unit

• Taylor (3/5): Poor - We have stayed at the sunbird numerous times so we enjoy the location and how quiet it is but this room Was hands down worst one we have experienced. Upon arrival the code that was provided to us via text from Vacasa was incorrect and would not let us in the room. Spent 10 minutes on the phone with customer service getting the code reset to get in the room. Immediately upon entry we could see the balcony door handle was broken. The bed was nearly sitting on the floor and was so uncomfortable reference the photo laying in the bed attempting to watch tv on the picture frame hanging on the wall. If the couch were bigger we would have slept on it. The bed had the loudest spring/styrofoam sound to it every time one of us rolled over it would wake the other up. We did not get the luxury feel for the luxury price that was paid.

Was this an attempt at ‘bait & switch’? - Location, beach front, ocean view, cable tv When I arrived my booking was cancelled 40 minutes prior. After numerous calls I learned a 3rd party Vacasa was my host. They put me in a unit overlooking parking lot with a view of a building tower feet away! I paid and booked above, never would I of booked the unit offered. After over 30 emails and excuses and attempted diversions over 5 days I finally got what I paid for. I’ve requested compensation numerous times with responses that they’ll check with team and get back to me. Still waiting for compensation of losing five days of prepaid booking. Terrible experience.

• Tyler (10/5): It was peaceful and fun - I like that you can see the beach from the room and you can get to the beach easily. There are 3 pools you can swim in. The parking lot.
• Maness (10/5): Exceptional - I absolutely loved the location of this condo! It was not super crowded on the beach, at the pool or for parking. There are neighboring beach houses beside of the condo, which cuts down on the amount of people on the beach directly in front of it. It made for a relaxing stay! The private parking area was very nice & easy to use. My father came on vacation with us and he uses a walker to get around. We easily parked in the front and was able to safely get him to where we needed to. The condo was clean, the facility was clean also and the staff were nice. There are 3 pools, with plenty of seating and lounge chairs. The facility was quiet & very private compared to other places that we have stayed previously. Would recommend to anyone! The only dislike that I had was that the amount of cooking utensils & the amount of pots & pans were a little sparse. But, we always plan our own meals and pack accordingly. Other than that, this place was perfect & as described.

• Frances (9/5): Just right for our needs. - Kitchen was well appointed, Clean and comfortable. Area seemed safe. No grocery store nearby. 10 am check out is early, and there was no option to use pool or enjoy the property for the day.
• Shirley (9/5): We enjoyed our stay! - The view was fabulous!! The apartment was nice and clean. Price was excellent. It is compact but comfortable for 2 people or a small family. The balcony was wonderful. So nice to be right on the beach. Elevators were terrific. My husband said the mattress was not just bad but horrible. He said you could get a better mattress on a dumpster dive. Also, they need to be up front about the parking fee and band charge. We didn't get that until after booking. A heavier blanket would be nice.
