- Beverly (7/5): very nice attendents, enjoyed our stayed stay, but need to work on housekeeping - the breakfast was really good. we were there for 7 days. their was variety. the hotel cleaning crew was somewhat disappointing. we were there for 7 days. We did not want the sheets changed every day, but they only brought new towels and emptied our trash one time. the rest of the time we had to get towels and trash bags from front desk.

- Lisa (4/5): It was not an enjoyable experience this time and really put a bad taste in our mouths. - The location is good. It was fairly clean. The staff had family staying at the hotel and one of them was a young boy who couldn’t have been over 12 drinking a hard lemonade he was cussing he came with no shirt on and went in the kitchen and was talking to his family member who was working at the time. The other adult family members came in his underwear. The staff told us that they were out of everything for breakfast. My husband and I stay there at least twice a month and were very disappointed. My special needs son was saying why are they acting like that. And didn’t want to eat because the behavior of the boy. It was very disturbing.

The back door was left proped open so the fruit had flies in it on the bfast line. And on our last day the elevators went out and we had to pack out using the stairs from the 3rd floor.

They comped us the room and said the other night would only be $100 because we didn’t get the King size bed we requested and because of the dirty room. They lied and denied the credit to Expedia!

One elevator working, had to change rooms because phone and tv were out of service, had to replace shower head in the next room, and found trash under the bed.

They had bacon and egg and that’s was it for that, cereal and the milk jug they had out was empty, the next day had gravy and sausage and egg no biscuits, was pretty weird. The room you can tell it was not cleaned the curtains were stained with who knows what the light switch was dirty the restroom was needing some cleaning. I won’t stay here ever again.
- Misty (6/5): - Tanner the front desk person was super polite helpful Helped to get another room when we checked in late one of the rooms was filled with cigarette smoke and someone had just used the room to urinate left the toilet seat wet Tanner kindly and swiftly changed us out and was very apologetic about the situation. Also i was coming i. Late with bags of food and he was so kind to rush to my aid and open the door for me. Thank you Tanner for going above and beyond for the Freeman Family All the rooms had a very strong odor of mold carpet in rooms was sticky and had lots of goop . Found mild on lamps. We had a short stay but three outta 6 of us got sick or rash . Also the pool was green when we showed up so we couldnt swim on our summer getaway.

The pool water was dingy and not inviting. No water views except for the dingy pool. My fault for not having better bearings of where it was situated between Corpus and Rockport.

- Dina (6/5): Family Vacation stay was Ok - Staff was extremely friendly, kind and most helpful. The lobby looked welcoming and spacious. The room was ok with the exception of a few things. The bed was comfortable, but the carpet was noticeably stained, the couch had stains, the shower had black stains and harsh calcium built up on the shower head. It was the culmination of a lot of little things that made the room somewhat uncomfortable. Had these been taken care of, it would be more pleasant staying overnight. The hairdryer was pealing and when in use, blew white dust from the peeling paint everywhere. To be honest I didnt mind the stay because my kids didnt notice and had a good time so I could forgive these imperfections. Breakfast was delicious and with a generous variety. The pool was dirty and my kids were looking forward to swimming so we didnt get to enjoy that amenity.
- Mariela (10/5): Decent and Clean - Stayed for one night with a friend on a minimum vacation, service was friendly and had no problems checking in. Had only one elevator working but hotel wasn’t crowded so there was no traffic going up and down the floors. Hotel room was decent and clean, could see some wear and tear on the walls but otherwise not bad. Air conditioning worked, bathroom was nice and hotel has complimentary free breakfast. Overall the hotel was in a good location to where we wanted to go, the movie theater was right down the street and theres a Walmart plus some fast food places around the area for all our needs. Would stay again if in the area.

- Alexander (3/5): Pissed off at the staff. is that clear enough. - I requested clean towels daily. Bed made and trash taken out. We were working 12-14 hour days cleaning a rent house out. Every day we had to call for clean towels, trash taken out, bed made or at least straightened up. After the 3rd of having to request these services manager was polite but it was evident she was highly annoyed. We all have our own jobs to do. Ours was just as important as the staff's jobs. Breakfast area, very clean- however they wiped the counters with dirty towels and didnt dry the surfaces of the counters. Very repulsive! MOST IMPORTANT-WE REQUESTED AN ADDITIONAL NIGHT ADDED TO OUR STAY TO FINISH OUR WORK, EVENING EMPLOYEE (EXTENDED OUR STAY). BUT HE BOOKED ME FOR THURSDAY NIGHT INSTEAD OF FRIDAY NIGHT. WHICH AT THAT TIME WAS AVAILABE. INSTEAD HE BOOKED ME ANOTHER ROOM FOR THURSDAY NIGHT. WE WERE STAYING THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. DOUBLE BOOKING. AT THE TIME FRIDAY NIGHT WAS AVAILABE. NOT VERY HAPPY WITH YOU. Everything I stated above.

- Margaret (8/5): We had a good stay overall . Kind employees that helped my husband and gave him towels and cleaning prodauts for shower - Breakfast We had empty bottles in shower, and only one bath towel . We were three adults.
- Gelando (6/5): Pleasant - The rooms were not the cleanest, it smelled like bad air Only one elevator worked The outdoor pool was filthy
- William (2/5): - The whole stay was terrible and hallways hot, the pool had no light working around it, pavilion had multiple wasp nest under it needing immediate attention. No manager on dutyor personal in charge for quest concerns. Fire Alarm system had multiple troubles flashing on front panel
- Paul (2/5): - Do not book here. Booked the room through Hotels.com and paid in full. The hotel charged us in full also. When asked about the charge at the hotel they wouldn’t reverse or hold the charge. They could see that it was charged incorrectly but wouldn’t address the problem. Have tried getting ahold of someone for 4 days. Hotels.com can’t get anyone to answer the call and credit card company is now trying to dispute through writing. The front desk acknowledged the problem and supposedly escalated to the GM but she said she hasn’t been able to talk to GM and the GM doesn’t answer calls. Terrible customer service!!

- Ben (10/5): - This looked a little rough on the outside, but very nice on the inside. Only problem is soap residue on the lobby floor caused my wife to loose her balance and luckily I caught her before she went down. We’re seeing this at more and more commercial establishments. Clean is great, but that soap must be totally rinsed away.
- Hector (2/5): - It was dirty. They never changed the sheets or take out the trash. The front desk workers were lazy. One of them was in the dining area slouched on his phone
- Martha (6/5): - We stayed at Christmas last year and had no WiFi, front desk was never able to get us connected. Just ignored because it was Christmas. Thought they might just be busy. This trip was early in the week, room was downstairs and close to front. It took them about two hours to get us a light bulb for side table by bed. The water pressure was extremely low and shower had mold in it. And to top it off, the WiFi would not connect again. Will not stay there again!

- nievesg2015 (6/5): Nope - The room was nice and cold... but the bathtub wouldn't drain, tv was not working properly, phone in the room didn't work, ice machines weren't working and then to top off the experience the bathroom door wouldn't open and maintenance took forever to get to the room.
- Stephanie (6/5): Needs updating and maintenance! - Let me preface by saying all employees and staff were welcoming, pleasant and accommodating.. the property itself however could use quite a bit of maintenance. No AC in the hallways, only one of two elevators worked and this place could sure use new paint and ceiling tiles throughout! I was a bit disappointed for this being a “Marriott”!

Also liked the staff they were very considerate about the time arrival for me I appreciate everything they did to ensure we had all the services that were included swimming pool and breakfast times. It seemed so out dated compared to the Fairfield in rockport. And my refrigerator was not working as well.

- Charles (5/5): Convenient location for travelers but severely lacking maintenance. - the location is handy for me, close to various types of retail establishments. After we were settled in our room, we found out internet was unavailable in that particular room so we had to pack up and move to another room. The soap dispenser was empty. The pool was full of debris. The grass and landscape all around the hotel was totally uncared for, weeds waist high in places and trash scattered everywhere. It seemed that one staff member was expected to take care of all duties. I have stayed in Marriott's worldwide and this was one was by far the least maintained.

- LaNita (4/5): - Our room was never cleaned so no one picked up dirty towels or brought clean towels and linens. We went to desk and told them and they asked us if we put the dirty towels on the hallway. Did not know we had to do that to get clean towels but don’t know what had to be done to get beds made with clean linens.
- Presley (8/5): Very good - Room was pretty nice. Everything seemed fairly clean. Bathroom was great. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed our stay. One of the elevators and hallways had an odd odor at times. Room smelled fine, though. The smoke detector (?) also had a relatively bright white flash every minute or so, which was slightly distracting at night. Had a mild impact on overall stay.
- Sightseer241427 (2/5): Worst hotel experience EVER - My experience at this hotel was the worst I’ve ever had and the manager at the front desk made zero attempts to resolve the problem. I had to go to work the night before and I attempted to call the hotel multiple times to tell them to save the room. I called the hotel twice and let the phone ring many times and nobody answered. The next morning when I showed up the manager tells me that I will get charged for the room. However, my room is sold out and there’s no rooms. Now mind you at this time I hadn’t had any sleep more than 24 hours. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any hotel. The manager was rude and she made zero attempts to reconcile. I will never go back and I advise all others not to stay there.
- Brian (4/5): - Over priced. Bathroom door would not shut. Only one elevator worked. Stayed for 3 nights asked to have the room cleaned never happened couldn’t even get them to empty the trash can in the room.
- Matt (4/5): - Below average cleanliness. Coffee in the room was decaf only. No towels in the fitness facility. Breakfast was disgusting.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Poor stay - Unfortunately this was a poor stay. I have never had any issues with Fairfield Inn & Suites but this location was a first. The hotel and room itself was clean and comfortable but the customer service or rather lack of was extremely disappointing. Our room was not ready for check in at 3pm. We were not given a room until 6pm. We were told they were short staffed. And I would normally understand but when I see the cleaning staff conversating in the hallway and walking around eating pizza. Then it becomes lack of urgency to accommodate the customer. And I find that as the worst hospitatlity.

Only complaint is we stayed at the front of the hotel and although we loved being able to look down on our car the lights shining on the building kept our room lit up even with blackout curtains. Would definitely stay again.

- Richard (4/5): - If you like low water pressure for showers and washing your hands then this is the place for you! Watching the water slowly come out of the shower head was unenjoyable especially when covered in salt and sand. Rooms are clean, lobby is nice. I liked the soft pillows. Did I mention the water pressure?
