- Eduardo (5/5): Good value for money, excellent location but service needs to improve. - Excellent location and great parking option. House keeping needs to improve. Despite notifying several times in a day, the room was not done 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed. It seemed that it was understaffed. Also, breakfast was only until 9:30 when it is usually at other places until 10:30.

- Emily (9/5): - New and clean Parking additional
- Cath (8/5): Great place to stay - Clean, well situated & pleasant staff Our room was not cleaned nor the bin emptied during our 3 night stay
- Steve (7/5): Good but annoying cleaning staff - Almost everything but..... The cleaning staff starting at 9;30am to noon knocked on our door atleast 6 to 8 times checking if we had left. Each time from polite to angry I told them we are staying right up until noon. Each time they did not care and knocked almost every half hour. i called down to let the front desk to notify that we would vacate at noon but nothing changed. There has to be a better way!

- Sean (8/5): - I liked the location! The hotel was clean and the room was very nice. It was VERY loud outside the room on the street. They need to do a better job with insulating the windows from noise.
- Lisa (6/5): - Location, Hotel in generally is lovely The dog barking in the room next to me. Called front but the dog was barking again all the next am. Made for a unpleasant stay.
- Tone (10/5): A centrally located hotel with excellent breakfast and wonderful rooms and views - The hotel was clean, the front staff were wonderful, the breakfast was awesome. We loved the rooms too!!! Nothing
- Rosanna (6/5): Great location, courteous staff but too few to address important issues. - Location Understaffed. Arrived well after check in and had to wait for rooms to be cleaned. Told there was a shortage of housekeepers. On day 2, key card stopped working. Replaced card, still not working. Battery needed replacing on room door lock so it could read card. We were locked out of our room for just under TWO HOURS waiting while an offsite janitor was called to come and replace the door lock battery. We were also frustrated by parking, as we were told 3 different things by the front desk staff about how to open the parking lot gate. Staff were friendly and eager to help but clearly the place was understaffed.

- Kelli (10/5): Nice location - Location Nothing. All was great but I had to go elsewhere because they were booked for an additional 2 days.
- Andrew (10/5): Our favorite place to stay in State College! - The hotel is very clean and nice, it's always my #1 choice to stay in State College. It's located right in the heart of downtown, and everything is within walking distance. Would have liked the option to include a parking pass during booking instead of paying for it after the fact.
- Ose (9/5): -
- Michael (7/5): Not bad - Tv did not work the whole stay Have an operable TV
- David (5/5): Dissatisfied. - Difficult to find the hotel. Need better signage approaching from down the street.
Shower was cold water.
Challenge to find the front desk.
Parking for check in and luggage was horrible.
Dumpster trucks emptied starting at 6:20am in the alley our room faced. On the weekend. ☹️

- Melissa (7/5): - Close proximity to campus. Was not informed at check-in the cost of breakfast or parking.
- Kristen (8/5): I love State College. - Quiet but also busy. Beautiful hotel and staff was excellent at front desk. Room cleanliness could have been a lot better in general. Bathroom needed much more attention especially in the shower, floor, and toilet. Was disappointed especially with the amount of money that was spent for the room. I expected that to be pretty pristine. In addition gunk on the carpet right outside the room door. Room needs the ceiling spackle and some wall markings taken care of. Did not feel clean as it should be.
- Robin (9/5): Most pleasant experience - This hotel is excellent. Rooms are clean, quiet, and spacious. Parking off site is the only drawback especially for handicapped people.
- Adam (9/5): I enjoyed my location to everything and the room. I will stay here again, in the future. - Room was clean and I appreciated being located at the end of a hallway, away from any noise from the elevators. Did not have time for breakfast as I was pressed to get to a meeting. The location was perfect. I was confused at how the parking garage was laid out. Once parked I had trouble getting my bearing on which way towards the street (Beaver Ave). I ended up walking out on the opposite side of the building and had to walk around to know where I was.
- Georgr (9/5): Comfortable convenience - Location and room layout/ size Breakfast/ coffee was average but not bad
- Victoria (2/5): I mean if you have to stay there do so with the idea that you will pay a bundle. And there is no pool so kids will be di - The location No pool the price was insane for one night with no amenities except a breakfast. Was dirtier than I expected for the price. Staff made my 16 year old fetch her own bedding bc it was past 11 and otherwise we would have to wait. Oh and got accused of taking someone’s room as soon as we got into the room. Staff came and just barged in. Yes she was apologetic but I’ve never had that happen it was so weird.

- Adria (10/5): Great experience at a gem of a hotel. I’m already recommending it to others! - The staff was super friendly, particularly the young lady who checked me in when I arrived. The room was modern, attractive and very comfortable. And the hotel breakfast was the best I’ve ever had - all the little details went above and beyond! And it was perfect that we were right next to a Target, where I could go before hitting the road to get snacks and supplies for the rest of my trip. The parking situation was not great. It was uncomfortable to have to park my car across an alley while I went in to figure out check in and unloading, particularly as a woman traveling alone.

- Mellon (8/5): Graduation Weekend - Location to Campus and Business. Having to pay for parking . At the rate for the room it should have been covered.
- Christopher (10/5): - The room was clean and comfortable. good location for state college in the downtown. excellent value.
- Victoria (5/5): I very much enjoy this hotel and have stayed several times in the past but was very disappointed with this stay - I love the location, breakfast, and rooms are nice TV could not get a menu to see what was on snd Netflix did not come up for us to use our app called front desk and was told by staff did not know how to fix but would send to maintenance but no one ever responded. Second problem hotel charged almost 17 dollars for parking which was only 11 dollars card given to exit did not work help button at gate when pushed went to voicemail had to back out park go back into hotel at which time I asked them to remove parking charge and I paid for myself

- 313shanellew (2/5): Deplorable Room Conditions - I have stayed at the State College, PA location quite a few times since my daughter attends Penn State. This latest time was not only disappointing but a disgrace. I have attached pictures containing the deplorable conditions of the room. Conditions including a filthy/stained carpet, disgusting walls, broken interior door lock and bathroom light fixture. Peeling wallpaper and unfinished spackle on the walls and ceilings.
I also want to add at checkout, I asked to speak with the manager, but she was too busy on the phone to talk to me. So I grabbed her card and emailed corporate.
- Radica (10/5): -
- Neha (3/5): Disappointed - I stayed in two different rooms and they were both very dusty and dry. also charges a high pet fee not listed here.
- Denise (8/5): -
- Neha (4/5): - you listed no pet fee, and there was a large fee
- Elizabeth (9/5): -
- Linda (8/5): Enjoyed my stay except for the fact that I had booked a room with 2 queen beds and it wasn't available. My teenage g - Proximity to downtown. Great restaurant.
- Vacationer681316 (4/5): A Problem or Three - Beware of front desk staff - one woman in particular. I called from the parking garage when I arrived and was a bit irritated that the parking height was not what was discussed prior to making the reservation - I was waiting in the garage not knowing if reserved spots were for Hyatt guests. She said she did not like the way I was speaking to her and told me she was going to end the conversation and hung up! Not a great way to treat a customer and not a good trait for a person that works the front desk in the hospitality industry. In addition the room had trash in the container, what appeared to be a used towel on the sink and the TV did not function. Will not be going back next visit - to many other options and I will not support being treated poorly by an inexperienced robotic employee.
- Carina (10/5): Trevligt och enkelt - Bra rum, fin lounge, bra läge.
- Marissa (9/5): -
- paulgK4008XJ (4/5): Extremely disappointing experience - My recent stay at the Hyatt Hotel in State College, Pennsylvania was extremely disappointing.
First, the television in my room did not function properly. The screen was completely pixelated and impossible to watch. I contacted the reception desk and was told a technician would be sent, yet after waiting more than 15 minutes, no one arrived.
Additionally, the cleanliness and maintenance of the room were unacceptable. There were suspicious stains on the glass picture frame in the bathroom, dust hanging from the bathroom wall, and stains on the bathroom ceiling. The wallpaper had white marks, and there was a noticeable humidity odor. It also appeared that white paint had been used to cover moisture damage on the ceiling. Overall, the ceiling appeared unfinished, giving the impression that it was still under construction.
This experience is absolutely unacceptable. At a rate of nearly $300 per night, The condition of the room and the lack of basic service fell far below the standards, No guest should ever be subjected to such conditions.
