• Tom Christian (2/5): Dirty room - Dirtiest hotel i have ever been on. Capet in room was full of stains, walls was dirty, bathroom was cleaned poorly. Dirty bedsheets and alot of hair on carpet.
• Wai Khuen (6/5): - We stayed here to catch the sunrise at Seongsan Iichubong. The hotel is very basic and room was sparse. The bath and toilet are not segregated meaning the whole place gets wet after a shower. There are two EV charging points which is a nice touch.
• Barry (4/5): - There is no one a the front counter until 11 am. We arrived at 9 am and entered the hotel , there was no one to talk to. There is a baker/cafe which was never open while we were there. In the town it is very difficult to find somewhere to get a breakfast. The room was acceptable with the exception of the carpet which was "crunchy " old and stained . It was not cheap and not good value for the dollar , consider other options

• Verified traveler (8/5): 類自助式飯店 - 第2天住的飯店，有點像是自助式入住的感覺，雖然有櫃檯人員，但看起來像工讀生，跟他說訂房的名字，他就會給房間的密碼，不用給他看護照或寫任何東西，退房也可以直接離開。 豪華客房的房間很大且插座很多不用搶著用。飯店離餐廳、超市、便利商店都很近，走一下就可以到了，只是很多餐廳都很早就關了。

• Seowon (8/5): - 저는 2박 묵었습니다. 전반적으로 혼자나 친구랑 지내기엔 공간도 괜찮은편이에요. 다만 객실 바닥이 카펫인데 오래된 카펫이라 실내 슬리퍼는 꼭 착용하는게 좋아요. 첫날 체크인할 때랑 둘째날에 리셉션에 계신 직원분들은 친절하고 좋았어요. 마지막날 체크아웃할 때 계신 머리 염색하고 단발머리 여자직원분은 별로예요. 뭐 물어봐도 시큰둥, 퉁명스럽더라고요. 작은 호텔이라지만 그래도 사람 상대하는데 있어 그런 태도는 지양하는게 좋을 것 같아요.
• Okkyoung (10/5): - 숙소 통유리에 성산의 일출을 그대로 볼수있었어요. 주차장도 넓고 폰으로 전자키가 전송되고 특히 화장실이 최고입니다. 연식이 된 카펫이 깔려있어 처음에는 걱정이 됬지만 숙박기간동안 우도여행과 주변의 맛집등을 다 누릴수있는 좋은 숙소입니다. 세명이 불편함이 없을 정도로 방크기도 마음에 들었습니다.

• SEONGHO (10/5): 가성비 좋은 숙소 - 가격대비 상당히 만족하네요 다른 호텔처럼 어메니티가 없어서 아쉽지만 원래 저희 부부는 개인적으로 구비해서 다니기에 불편함은 없었네요 아주 쾌적하게 쉬었다가 왔습니다
• HY (8/5): - Ample parking space, clean and spacious room, big window facing the Seongsan ilchulbong. Not many choice of food for breakfast buffet.
• TerenceT (8/5): - Great location in the small town of Seongsan. Rooms have great views of either the volcano or the lake opposite. Can't really fault the hotel very much for the price paid. Everything was functional, rooms were clean and spacious. Rooms were a little sparse though, given the large size of the rooms, the tiny table and chair provided looked tiny in the space provided. Breakfast was ok and there was ample free self-parking. I was fortunate that my wife speaks Korean because I don't think any of the staff speak any English at all, but it's always possible to get by with a translator app. Last thing, they don't use keys or swipe cards here to enter your rooms. They use a pin code access panel on your room door (akin to typical Korean homes). The check-in staff will give you a little receipt that has your room number and 4-digit pin code on it and lot of Korean text. It's fairly straightforward to operate, but not something I expected as this is pretty uncommon in most Western countries.
• MamaHelz (6/5): Avoid the breakfast - The location is great, not far to the start of the Ilchulbong climb and near lots of good, small restaurants. And the views are good. However the hotel is soulless, and hand towels are provided for bath towels, and the breakfast (included in the rate) is grim, the buffet offerings including "easi-singles" cheese, tinned fruit and cold, limp fried potates.

• Ahreum (6/5): 2박3일숙박후기 - 사진으로 봤던 바닷가가 보이는 뷰도 아니고 좁아서 추가금액지불하고 방을바꿨습니다. 날씨가 눅눅해서인지 침대시트는 눅눅하고 카펫이 깔려있어 신발을신고 다녀야하고 잠을자는데 에어컨때문인지 상당히건조하여 이틀내내 감기걸린듯 목과 코가 답답해 잠을 잘 못잤네요.. 다시 묵으러 이곳까지 오지않을것같습니다. 그래도 청소하는아주머님 친절하십니다.

• Constancia (2/5): Horrible with bug spray - Uninhabitable. The room and hallway reeked of Raid or a similar-smelling insect spray. I had difficulty breathing so we had to leave. It threw me into a coughing fit! There was no clerk on duty when we left. We tried to reach management but no one answered and by the time they called back a couple hours later, we had already left. Though we did not use the room at all and exited immediately, this hotel refused to refund us our money.

• cyndee524 (8/5): Lovely stay - Why not provide bath towels? Water conservation? Our bathroom was equipped with 6 hand towels... What's up with that? Otherwise, the rooms are very nice with soft lighting and a lots of attention to details. The view overlooking the water was beautiful outside its wall-sized windows. Would certainly stay here again!

• Kwok Leung (6/5): 近海，風景美麗 - 下午2時到酒店服務台無人，要3點再訪，酒店外觀新，近海舒服。早上附近餐廳唔多，連早餐比較好，款式唔多可以。房間選擇了向海超正(必選) 房間清潔舒服，唯一進入浴時底了一級要小心， 走廊有異味；女職員好好禮貌，早餐時段會在餐廳幫手，另一位男職員就好像很忙碌，我經過他面前4至5次，他總是低着頭，無一次會向我們打招呼，連他的正面都看不到，這個服務態度，有待改善，我真是未見過。
• JunHui Mudong (8/5): 19년 5월 초 잘 보내고 갑니다. - 숙소 선택할 때 침대 컨디션을 많이 따지는 편입니다. 이번 숙소는 우리 가족이 좋아하는 침대 형태여서 좋았습니다. 조금 단단한 침대를 좋아하시는 분께 추천... 조식은 큰 기대 하지 않으시면 .... 주차장은 넉넉한 편이지만, 주차장 진입에 어려움이 있었습니다. 진입로 안내판이 멀리서 보았을 때 잘 보이지 않아 몇 바퀴 돌고 진입을 했습니다. 2층 맨 끝이었는데, 소독 문제인지 모르지만 복도에 냄새가 꽤 났습니다. 상쾌한 냄새는 아닙니다. 객실 2중창이 아니어서 5월 초 한기를 느낄 수 있습니다.

• Heath (8/5): Clean and Basic Stay - Good Value - This was a quick stay in Seongsan the night before hiking the crater for sunrise. They say that checkin closes at 10 pm, so I rushed a bit to make sure I arrived in time, and checked in about 8:50 pm. They make a big deal about saying the breakfast runs from 7:30 to 9, but that you should get there by 8:30 because they close it at 9. I thought it was a bit odd that the hours were so limited, given that many of their visitors (and indicated in the name of the actual hotel) come there for sunrise at the top of a crater! That day sunrise was at 7:17 and I decided that I didn’t want to rush back to the hotel for the breakfast. Get breakfast at the Starbucks at the base of the crater instead. They display signs stating that no food or drinks are allowed in the guest rooms, which I thought was odd. Especially given their very limited hours for the cafe in the lobby. The room itself was clean and spartan. They provided 4 hand-sized towels for the room, and I immediately placed two of them on the floor to mitigate the shower run off, and dried myself with the other two. They were the roughest feeling towels I’ve ever experienced. The Wifi worked well, and the hotel was located in a convenient spot, on the main road and a short walk to the crater. It’s a self check-out process where you leave the key in a basket. Overall, you get what you pay for. This was $58 USD and served my needs well. Although I chucked quite a bit at the extent of their penny-pinching.
• davidmU8137VD (8/5): Perfect hotel close to the vulcan. - Very nice and clean place if you want to visit Seonsang park or the Udo island. Very comfortable and big rooms, very close to the ferry. I was this October and it is a little bit lonely place as it was low season.

• 198TOGO (10/5): Quiet & and beautiful place to stay - It is a very nice hotel. Clean rooms & bathroom and a very comfortable bed. It is a new hotel located at a prime spot. I enjoyed my stay in this hotel very much. Everyday I got to see a beautiful sunset just opposite of the hotel. From the hotel, base of Seongsan Ilchulbong is a good 15-20 minutes walk, Seongsan Harbor (to get a ferry to Udo island) is also 20 minutes walk from the hotel. I could also walk to a sunrise point to catch the sunrise view from the Seongsan sunrise peak. I walk at a slow pace and it took me 20-25 minutes to get to the sunrise spot. I booked the deluxe room, and the sunset view from my room was amazing! The only point to be considered is that all the hotel staff leave by 10 pm so, you would not find anybody at the reception after 10 pm. Food options nearby are limited and almost everything closes by 7pm. I managed to find a McDonalds nearby. Rest of the eateries have local food options only. If you are a vegetarian, it would be very difficult or to say impossible to find anything to eat there.

• ychen2014 (10/5): Clean, comfortable, great location at reasonable price! - 1. Location It’s only one minute walking distance from Seongsan Ilchibong stop. It’s walking distance to Seongsan Ilchibong and Gwangchiji beach. There’s few nice restaurants and cafe around. There’s a small convenient store beside. The hotel itself has a nice cafe serving cheap and nice pastry. 2. Clean and comfortable The room is very clean and the mattress is comfortable. I was surprised that the toilet comes with smart bidet at this price. 3. Helpful staff The receptionists are very helpful. They assisted us and gave us clear guide on the bus route to our next destination. 4. Bicycle rental You can rent a bicycle to explore the area at KRW10,000 per day.

• Chu Hui (10/5): Relaxing and pleasant stay - Hotel staff were friendly and their breakfast ambience is a pleasant ones. Had our room facing the sea, very relaxing stay;)
• RTJC (6/5): Good place for Seongsan - We stayed here for 2 nights. We had a red-eye flight and were not feeling well when we arrived. Staff were not able to speak English but some can communicate in Mandarin. They firmly enforced the check in time rule. You can leave your luggage & check in at 3pm. We were really wowed by the room itself. Couldn't ask for a better view. We chose to stay here for 2 nights as a base for Seongsan & Udo island. Bed was comfortable for us (on the hard side). Bottled water provided. Toiletories provided: toothbrush set, shower cap, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner & hairdryer. Do note that this area is mainly a farming area. My husband got really sick on our last night. I was informed by the reception staff that there are no doctors available nearby. The nearest help is 1 hour away in Jeju city or Seogwipo. The night staff were very helpful & called 911 for me and got an ambulance to take us to the hospital. When we were ready to leave the hospital at 1.30am, the hospital staff called 3 cab companies which refused to drive to Seongsan. They eventually found a willing driver for us at a cost. Pros: 1) Huge spacious clean room 2) Magnificent view of Seongsan from the bedroom 3) Massive bathroom with jacuzzi tub 4) Free parking & super close to Seongsan & Udo Ferry Terminal Cons: 1) Very strict & inflexible check-in/out time 2) The staff can't communicate in English and some of them are warmer & friendlier to their Korean speaking guests 3) No staff to help you after 9pm 4) Bath towels are the size of face towels (they don't have any bigger towel)
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great view! - Super close to Sunrise Peak... about a 2 minute drive to the parking lot for Sunrise Peak. There is a 24/7 convenient store next door that you may walk to. They are missing an iron/ironing board, but otherwise, great place to stay! Will recommend for future stay.
