- Terriks (8/5): - Nice comfortable room. Disorganized staff.
Rules about no eating in the room, and no washing clothes in the room. I was living out of my backpack while walking the Via de la Plata and needed to wash clothes daily. They could barely provide basic service in the hotel and restaurant, let alone laundry service!
- Lukas (9/5): -
- Helene (6/5): - Our twin bedroom was of an acceptable size but not spacious. We were also able to get our room earlier than check in time advised. No one was at the reception when we needed . I find the price of the room a bit high for what we got. This is the only hotel in this village therefore we dont have much choice to pay what is asked.
- Helen (10/5): Really great accomodation and lovely atmosphere with a great dinner for a very reasonable price - Lovely room. Great and plentiful food. Attentive friendly hostess. We liked everything

- Paul (8/5): Good value and only place offering food in the town - Very good value Didn’t do breakfast until 7:45am
- Dragica (9/5): - Vrlo ljubazno osoblje, vrlo čisto, iako sam došla prerano, dok su jos čistili, ugodno su me smjestili, poslužili kavu i čak me besplatno nahranili, jer u tom selu ništa nije radilo
- Ian (9/5): - Great location, very fresh & clean. Good food. Nothing
- adrienne (9/5): Very comfortable, clean, bright and spacious room . Really nice bathroom with bath. - Very comfortable, clean, bright and spacious room . Really nice bathroom with bath. Host was very helpful and their Pilgrim meal was very enjoyable, Would recommend. Thank you. Nothing

- Paul (10/5): Really good. - Perfect for our needs. Very clean and comfortable. Very friendly and attentive owners.
Menú del Dia was great too.
Never ending hot water in the shower.
- Ella (8/5): Clean comfortable room and welcoming host - Warm hospitality, clean comfortable room, delicious dinner (menu del dia) and breakfast. The room was warm and spacious. Just what was needed after a long day s walk in the cold wind!
- Sandra (10/5): Perfect host - Mari Carmen was a wonderful host. The food was great and she was very accommodating to us and our dogs too.
It’s a small village but she provided everything you need. We had car trouble and she helped us call mechanics and let us book to stay extra days. I would definitely stay again! Nothing

- Sascha (7/5): - Betreiberin nett. Bett sehr bequem.
- Stuart (8/5): - Our host was lovely. She looked after us brilliantly. It was cold as the weather was snow and ice outside but we did have a radiator heater put in our room.
- Carmen (7/5): -
- Angela (10/5): Great place to stay after 6 hr drive on way to santander - Rural setting clean room, comfortable bed and good food & wine

- Karsten (9/5): Guter Stopp auf der Fahrradreise. - Herzlicher Empfang.
- Philippe (9/5): -

- Peter (8/5): A nice stay at the Camino with a perfect host - Carmen is the best host you can wish The hotel is a bit dated, but who cares if Carmen makes the difference. She is again a great host and makes Youre stay a pleasant one.
- Sonia (9/5): -
- Tea (10/5): Perfect stay for one night on Via de la Plata - The room was clean and comfortable, beds huge and we sleep very well. Meal was really good and the owner very helpful.
- Monica (10/5): -
- Wojciech (9/5): -
- Sarah (8/5): Nice overnight stop between Portugal and France. Friendly family run guesthouse that’s dog friendly. Host’s food was gre - Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly owner. Good vale food. Nice terrace to sit with the dog.
- Jose Alexandre (10/5): Sentimo-nos em casa - Atendimento
- Kirsten (10/5): Quiet small town stay - Very clean!
Very quiet!
The grocery store is only open 10-14 and 17-1900. The swimming pool was open in town and had a bar.
- Philip (10/5): A bargain overnight stay. - The bedroom building is adjacent to a bar with an enclosed courtyard between. We were warmly greeted by Mari and shown to our room. We had our evening meal in the courtyard. Simple food cooked well. Quite how Mari manages to present a three course meal, carafe of wine and coffee for 13 euros these days is amazing. Nothing.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Big (9/5): Lovely place, great people - Everything, lovely place, loved it Perfect
- Janice (8/5): Great for a camino stop - Lovely staff, comfortable
- Alison (8/5): Very good -
- Gilkville (8/5): Very good - Carmen is a great host and she and her family make you feel very welcome. Nice little hotel in a relaxing village. Great food on set menu. Stopover as part of motorbike trip. Some great biking roads and scenery down to Riomalo de Abajo viewpoint and back. Will definitely return. Nothing
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Suzanne (8/5): Very good -
- Christine (8/5): Very good - We liked the host, she was great fun and had a good sense of humour.
- Sara (7/5): Comfortable and friendly - Well set up for Camino walkers right on the Via dd La plata. Friendly staff, good home cooking, good value for money
- Christopher (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (9/5): Great find - We were walking the VdP and this was a perfect stop for us. The room was warm and comfortable. The bed was just right ✅️.
But the main star was the food. We had the menu (3 course) and the food was not only delicious but cooked to perfection. The breakfast starts at 7.30ish😉
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Jane (8/5): Good basic accommodation with great home cooked food - Very friendly host
Good food Shower wasn’t great but water was hot and it worked!
- Jolene (10/5): Nice place. Great communication. Great sleep - Great for a quiet stay on the Via de la Plata. Nothing.
- Casadalua (8/5): One night stop in a peaceful setting. - Our 2nd visit here, and enjoyed a simple evening meal with the family. Carmen, our host looked after us well. A very rural location but not really "en route" for us.
- Brian (10/5): - The host was welcoming and offered us a fixed meal at very reasonable price. Even though we did not arrive until 8pm. The room was warm, clean and comfortable. This hotel is unfortunately in an isolated location not easily accessible from any major roads.
- Davina (9/5): Very lovely family atmosphere. Kind and happy to have our dog to stay too. - Friendly and the owner couldn’t do enough for you. Food all home cooked. Very quiet and definitely lately Rural! A bit far away from any other bars but we were travelling low peak.
- Jennifer (10/5): - If you are looking for rural , this property delivers !
- Carmel (9/5): Highly recommend. Lovely country hotel. - Great location on via de la plata. Warm rooms on a winter night. Kind, friendly owner who looked after us really well and helped us transfer our luggage.
- Bob (9/5): Superb - This was a repeat stay and we were welcomed like old friends.
- Mette (8/5): Peaceful, good value countryside stay, fabulous host - Very comfortable bed and very clean, nice outdoor terrace and its own bar and restaurant. Exceptionally nice and hard working owner and great coffee. Nice simple food made just for us as we were the only guests - this is mid-January . Very dog friendly, dog allowed in the restaurant , also lots of toys for toddlers to play with. Very quiet and good shutters - slept really well. A little hard to find, in the end we used the host’s link to successfully find it rather than other maps, and in a village in the middle of nowhere with nothing else happening, but that is clear from the description.
- Stephen (9/5): Superb - We were made to feel very welcome..like part of the family.
- Mads (10/5): Great stay! - Food was fantastic and atmosphere was great. Rooms were very clean.
- Carmen (8/5): Muy cómodo - Estupendo para relajarse y desconectar. Cama muy cómoda.
- Kathleen (10/5): Fabulous family run business - On the Via de la Plata. It is a family run hotel and we were looked after like family. Despite the restaurant being closed, the host made us a delicious dinner. She also got up early to give us breakfast. Friendly and helpful.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (5/5): Needs Must - It was a “needs must” stay, there is no other option on this part of the Via De La Plata. The entrance to the hotel/ bar/cafe area has become an extension of the families living quarters. The guests are secondary to all else. Washing piles left everywhere. The owners are nice enough once you accept that you are going to get service their way. A real shame, it could and should be a little gold mine.
