- Larissa (10/5): Realmente divina - Maravilloso su anfitrión es increíble el lugar precioso la habitación divina todo el desayuno maravilloso
- Gina (10/5): - Wonderful stay! Very good breakfast! Richard was an excellent host! I would stay here again if I’m ever back in Stirling.
- Elena (10/5): - It is a cozy B&B centrally located in Stirling. Our room was spacious enough for a family of four. Communication was clear and timely. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to other visitors.
- fay (10/5): - Breakfasts were delicious Richard was ver accomodating easy walking distance to everything lovely bnb lovely room
- Graeme (10/5): Very Nice - Convenient location, friendly host, nice quiet hotel. I would highly recommend it.
- Amy (10/5): Wonderful experience - What an amazing host and a wonderful stay!
- Lindsay (10/5): STAY HERE!!! - Mr. Richard is a most wonderful host!!! I cannot even begin to explain each of the amazing things he did for my granny and I when we were staying at his lovely Bed & Breakfast! He is so thoughtful and intentional with the way he sets up the rooms, with any needs you might have during your stay there. He’s so friendly & literally reachable in minutes if things don’t go quite right in any aspect of your trip. I’ve never stayed at such a wonderful Bed & Breakfast, truly (and I travel quite a lot). If you need a place to stay in Stirling - LOOK NO FURTHER! Book it! Thank you again Mr. Richard for having us & taking such great care of us! I look forward to coming back (if you’ll have us, under better circumstances on our end hehe)!
- Maarit (10/5): - Lovely little house near everything what you need. So welcoming and warm owner with his cute dog. Very cosy, clean and pleasant building and excellent bed! Breakfast was tasty and big. Nothing negative to say, really and we are coming back for sure! <3
- Jennifer (8/5): - Location is fantastic. Host was very friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was delicious. House is charming, but the room was quite a bit smaller than any others we had during our trip...and the bed mattress was, unfortunately, very uncomfortable. I also wish the bathroom had been a bit better. The fan and light were connected, making it quite noisy if one has to use the bathroom at night. Were it not for the uncomfortable bed, we would very likely return!!
- Amy (8/5): - Great location to explore Stirling. Richard was very helpful with his suggestions and accommodating. Food was good and plenty for breakfast.
- Todd (10/5): - Richard was very helpful regarding things to do as well as recommending good places to eat.
- Randy (10/5): - Richard, the owner and host, was wonderful.. helpful, informative, friendly, available. The place was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Everything was great!
- Kevin (10/5): - Richard was a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough to make me feel very welcome.
Great breakfast too.
- John (10/5): - Friendly proprietor, comfortable rooms, and helpful suggestions
- Mary (10/5): - Location was great!
- Ellen (10/5): - The owner is very knowledgeable about all things Stirling, including food and Scotch options. He is flexible, kind and very helpful. Even a late request for a breakfast to go was met with enthusiasm. We loved the meat pie and other surprises tucked in our bags.
- Justin (10/5): - Talk about perfection. I usually prefer hotels, but this B&B delivered a perfect experience. Clean, stylish, with a charming host. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I wish I was in town longer and could have stayed for a a couple more nights!
- Robert (10/5): - The property was super clean and nice. Breakfast was delicious.
- Leslie (10/5): Nice, would stay again - Owner was very nice. Nice room, at the top of the house.(No lift, but that's ok) Quiet, with a nice view. Everything in town is on a hill, but at least this home wasn’t very FAR up a hill. (Those poor kids staying at the youth hostel, up by the castle!)
- Raymond (10/5): Great place to stay with your furry friends. - Really welcoming relaxed stay very clean and comfortable room
And the breakfast was delicious
Richard was a great host.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Spot on - Good location - short walk into town or up the hill to the castle. Friendly, helpful, knowledgable host. Good room and bed; clean and tidy. Great breakfast.
Was slightly nervous about the parking arrangements, but needn't have been - there are pay-and-display spaces on the road outside, 4 hours max (but the clock stops in the evening/overnight) - cost £2.90 to park, which covered arrival to departure with plenty of time to spare.
Will be coming back :-)
- Jacquelyn (10/5): Lovely Guesthouse! - Comfortable and spotlessly clean. My room had everything that I needed and Richard the owner was friendly and helpful. And the tasty breakfast set me up for each day - I had no need for lunch! Great location for train and bus travel, plus all the local attractions. I was visiting Stirling to attend a Wedding and I I'd be happy to stay at the Munro guesthouse again.
- Zoe (8/5): Friendly host, clean, central location - Clean and tidy accommodation, friendly host and central!
The breakfast was lovely and a mixture of cold and cooked options.
We stayed in the small double room which was clean and tidy.
Parking opposite the accommodation requires pay and display at certain times.
Very handy for local sightseeing and train station.
Maybe helpful for some when booking: noise travels easily from hallway/breakfast area so not so good for light sleepers.
- J (10/5): - Very nice place, tasteful standards of new decor. Friendly and helpful owner.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very welcoming but allows guests to find their own comfort level. Provides communal spaces but individual rooms are also great. Richard is the perfect host!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Richard was the King of hospitality. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Enjoyed our stay.
- John (10/5): - A very enjoyable stay. Richard could not have been more accommodating. I can highly recommend for anyone needing a clean, comfortable, quiet room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Would happily stay here again. Richard is a good host and is happy to give information on places to visit in the area.
- Shelley (10/5): Great host and great location. - This is a lovely house not far from the Castle and good shops and restaurants. The host is WONDERFUL very generous and friendly and helpful with directions. We had the best room in the house way at the top with wonderful views. I took lots of photos from up there! I would highly recommend Munro as a place to stay.
- Yuka (10/5): Great‼️ - 街の中心部から近いのに、静かで過ごしやすかったです。
スタッフもフレンドリーでお部屋も清潔で良かったです。
- Brian Donna (10/5): - Fantastic Guest House in the heart of Stirling. Would definitely return if were ever in the area again.
Richard was a great host, with a great sense of humor. Gave us good advice on things to see in the area.
- Erin (10/5): EXCELLENT B&B in a place worth visiting! - 4 thumbs up from my husband and me re: our stay here. Munro House is immaculately clean, fabulous breakfast, warm but not intrusive hosting, very comfortable - checked all our boxes for what a great B&B should be, and went above with very tailored itinerary suggestions upon request (in addition to the information already provided in the book and available pamphlets- those are standard for a B&B of this high quality, but Richard really took ample time to discuss our plans with us when I'm sure he had other tasks!). Richard, thank you so much for the wonderful stay, our trip to Stirling was so much better than it might have been if we'd landed elsewhere. The Munro Guesthouse location is also not to be beat- just a few doors down from the best whisky bar in Scotland (Curly Coos) & easy walking distance from the restaurants and historic town centre. We had planned to check Stirling off our list, but enjoyed our time so much that we might have to come back! Maybe just even for the delicious bacon and eggs... cooked better than I've had in 5 star restaurants. Keep doing what you're doing!
- Karen (10/5): This is THE place!! - Perfect location in the town of Sterling, adorable and welcoming home / space - and best of all, the host, Richard, was simply delightful! He cooked up delicious breakfasts, was super attentive and just an all around great guy. We loved it!
- Carl (10/5): - Really friendly owner with great local knowledge, ideal for a walk into town or up the hill to the castle. Brilliant breakfast to set you up for the day.
- ann (10/5): - What a great little gem in the heart of Stirling! Ask Richard for restaurant recommendations - he matched my mood and pocketbook exactly. His story is interesting and I wish I could have spent more time.
- Hraham (10/5): Scottish to the core - With the tartan carpets, bed covers, and artwork, this place gives a real taste of Scotland. Richard is a wonderful host and the place is very comfortable and in the heart of Stirling city.
- Joanna (8/5): - Munro Guest House is very close to the Stirling train station, as well as to local attractions (Stirling Castle). Mr. McKendrick was also very proactive to recommend restaurants that could accommodate my dietary needs, as well as to accommodate those needs for the included breakfast. A cozy, well-appointed guest house!
- Emily (10/5): Great guest house - Great guest house in Stirling. Richard is very welcoming and helpful regarding restaurants and things to see in the area. Nice room and good breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very friendly. Good location close to train and castle
- Ian (8/5): Room with a view - Comfortable room with a great view of the William Wallace monument. Room was on third floor so lugging bags upstairs was difficult. Owner very personable, and breakfast was good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Best of the best - Richard was the best host. We travelled 2 weeks around Ireland and Scotland and he topped the list. The house is easy to find in this busy area. Richard let us check in early and gave great food and touring info. The space has been renovated with nice shower and bed and a great Scottish breakfast. Thumbs up!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice location. Host very accommodating and pleasant. Cooked to order breakfast good and filling. Bed comfortable. Nice view out our window. Be prepared for hills and some climbing.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location, helpful host - My son and I stayed at Munro Guest House for one night this month and it was just what we needed. Richard is a wonderful host. He went out of his way to be helpful to us and his friendliness really made a difference in our experience. We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor which was clean, well-appointed, and quiet. It was unique in that it had windows on the ceiling, and fortunately, he has installed blackout shades so that the long summer Scotland days didn't keep us awake. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Stirling Castle and convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc... Parking is on-street and you have to pay using coins, but it is very convenient to the guest house. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay again!
- Jennifer (8/5): - Overall enjoy for a short day
- Charles (10/5): Very close rain station! - Cleaner and organised, I'm very satisfied! Like a 4 stars!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely, feels like home! - Richard is a delightful host, sensitive and accommodating to guests needs. Home is close to everything yet quiet. Will stay again someday!
- Carrie (8/5): Great location, accommodations and owner - This B&B is in an excellent location in Stirling, with everything you need within walking distance. Richard is great and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend to others staying in Stirling.
- Sig (10/5): A gem in Stirling - Great location! Walk to most locations in Stirling. Cozy Guest House and Richard was most helpful and friendly!
- Isaac (10/5): Great stay at the Munro Guest House! - The guest house was warm and cozy. Richard, the proprietor, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area. His dinner recommendation (Green Gate) was top notch and he he made our breakfast to my preference. Richard is clearly the heart of the guest house and he has so many great tips to share. I would go back again!
