- Hugh (10/5): - Absolutely fantastic. Very nice rooms, early check in not a problem, late check out not a problem. Never a problem the team can’t solve.
Great Guinness too
- Halina (10/5): - Very good place and safe parking
- Tracey (10/5): - We were greeted by a very friendly staff member who upgraded us to a bigger room.
- Julie (7/5): Good value for cheap accommodation - Pleasant stay with friendly staff. A good special for dinner, roast pork and a variety of veges. Access to a general kitchen and free basic cereal breakfast. It is a typical country pub, with communal bathrooms. Unfortunately there was a cold front passing through, so it was a bit cold for midnight toilet visits.

- Cassell (9/5): I checked in Sunday arvo, and after a couple of beers, enjoyed a great dinner and wine. - Mike and Yung made me feel like I was a guest in their home.
Had great Roast Pork dinner, and very comfortable night.
Breakfast was more than I expected. Nothing really.
It's a great hotel, and I hope to stay there again.
- Jane (5/5): - Being central to everything.
Lovely big veranda with comfy seats Window rattled all night. Room smelt musky.
Very run down
- Kit (7/5): Good value stay with a relaxed, dog-friendly atmosphere, but let down by an uncomfortable mattress. - This was our second stay at the Boorowa Hotel and overall it’s great value, with a relaxed atmosphere and nice amenities, including balcony access from our room. Bonus: dog-friendly by arrangement, and highly recommend the pesto pasta. The only real downside was the mattress, which was extremely uncomfortable — we could feel every spring. A mattress upgrade would greatly improve the experience.

- Denise (8/5): - Great stay for a classic pub night. We were passing through so was handy to be able to have our dog with us. Good facilities and a kind welcome.
- Susan (9/5): Great value, clean and comfortable. - The staff were helpful. The room was spotless with good AC. Showers were good temperature and pressure. The food in the dining room was really good. All was good.

- Mark (6/5): -
- Jacqueline (6/5): -
- Gary (9/5): - Friendly staff, enjoyable meal from the dining room, economical stay in a basic but air conditioned room. If you are easily disturbed don't get a front room. A lot of trucks went through overnight.
- coral (8/5): - It has old style pub rooms. Great for a cheap overnight stay. The room was comfortable enough with a shared bathroom. I usually go for an ensuite but at this price I was happy to forgo that luxury for a night. The restaurant served good food. I am vego and have fussy dining standards. Overall it felt nice. I loved the rickety balcony with retro theatre seats. The self service breakfast was cramped and stacked with dirty dishes from earlier breakfast risers. Cereal, toast tea and coffee was the extent of choices. I chose to eat in one of the other cafe choices, I am not a cereal person.

- John (4/5): Get what you pay for, but Saturday can be noisy - Cereal and toast was fine. Ate in room as the kitchen was freezing. We stayed on a Saturday night and there were a lot of loud guests in to the early hours.
- Mao-yi (8/5): Very good -
- Cupitt (10/5): Exceptional - It's a wonderful country pub with great friendly staff and locals. Great food as well. Nothing we had a great weekend. You do have to share the bathroom but that's expected in a country pub
- Michael (4/5): Old and substandard - Restaurant was good Rough bathroom and toilet at the end of the corridor
- Warwick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wardman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darrin (8/5): Very good -
- Jill (7/5): Don’t expect The Ritz but warm to the experience. - The country atmosphere. This is an old pub in all its glory. No expectations but it’s friendly, clean, a bit rough around the edges but it’s got a heart of gold. Could do with a general interior paint, new carpets
and more loos and showers but then it would be another motel of sorts. It’s up for sale so who knows what’s in store?
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maurizio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -

- Alison (9/5): Superb - A return visit for me. This place is full of character, I love the generous breakfast provisions and sunny breakfast/lounge area upstairs, as well as the classic wrap-around balcony. A great place to stay in delightful Boorowa.
- Ian (8/5): A great country pub stay for a night or three with good food and friendly staff. - A character-filled, rustic pub in the centre of town. It's truly pub style accommodation but done very well. The staff are very friendly, the restaurant is value for money and offers good, pub style food. The pub promotes itself as providing dog-friendly accommodation, which it does in select rooms upon application. However, dogs are not welcome in the pub itself, you will need to eat and drink in the beer garden (which does have some cover and gas heaters).
- Cathy (8/5): A fun and quirky country pub with lots of history for a great weekend with friends. - The staff were fantastic, made us feel welcome. The location and verandah was great. The shower and bathroom area could use some attention.
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (9/5): Superb -
- Ashli (10/5): Great stay. Will be back - Great atmosphere, good pub friendly staff & rooms were great Nothing
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We have travelled through here many times and always call in to this hotel. Hospitality is always 100%. Food is always excellent value and tastes amazing. Never stayed overnight until this trip and found it to be excellent value for money, interesting set up as in we had to go out onto verandah to access our room and again to access our bathroom and toilet. Water pressure for the shower not the best, but was hot. Plenty of tea coffee, juice, bread and cereal available which is included in the price. Yes we would stay again
- Geoff (8/5): Very good - Value No tv in room
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Dominic (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dennis (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good - Quintessential country hotel accommodation with helpful friendly staff and excellent meals
- David (8/5): Overall very enjoyable stay . - Clean comfortable and quiet. Good central location for touring. Excellent value for the money, with continental breakfast included. Good showers, had to wait a little while for the hot water to come. Excellent bistro- cafe on site. NA
- Bruce (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (10/5): Absolutely fabulous - Great staff
Excellent food
Cold Beer Nothing
- David (9/5): Boorowa Hotel - The Boorowa Hotel was fantastic, room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, sitting on the Balcony throughout the day and night, was fantastic with nice breeze and you can see all of the main street from up there. The hotel itself was a fantastic surprise, with many things to see throughout each bar area, meals were very good and cost was very good. You have a great variety of drinks to enjoy also, showers and other amenities were very good and plenty of them throughout the hotel. The staff and owner of the hotel were always friendly and very helpful , you could feel the atmosphere in the hotel and it was the staff that made you feel very welcome and wanted.
Travelling to Boorowa, this is a must visit or stay and you will not be disappointed. More of a suggestion as i didn't dislike anything. A Bar fridge and kettle would be fantastic, although you don't have to walk to far. No TV did throw me at first, but then you would lock yourself in the room and miss out on the whole atmosphere of the hotel
- Suinee (4/5): Interesting. - Old hotel … did their best. Shared toilet & shower. Noisy. Website did not reflect quality of rooms. Basin in room had no running water.
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (8/5): Quintessential rustic Australian pub in a quiet country town. - Quintessential rustic Australian pub in a quiet country town. Lots of character. Good food. Comfy beds. Air conditioning. Would stay here again. Confusion over the free breakfast. Assumed it included the hot breakfast which we waited until 8am only to find out it was just the cereal and toast and juice which we could have had earlier. Not a big deal. Still great value for money but just wish that had been communicated clearer so we didn’t waste time.
- Geoff (7/5): Good -
- Lanxuan (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay at the Boorowa Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The team reached out to confirm our check-in time and stayed up late to greet us with warm smiles, ensuring we had seamless access to our room. The room itself was a delightful blend of vintage charm and bright, colorful decor—so beautifully done and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable; we even slept through our alarm! Thankfully, the morning team was kind enough to give us extra time to pack up, which we truly appreciated.
The shower was fantastic, and the breakfast corner had everything we needed. Although there was a minor issue with a leaky rooftop due to heavy rain, the staff was attentive when we pointed it out.
One of the highlights of our stay was the downstairs café. The Eggs Benedict was the best I’ve ever had! The whimsical dog-themed decor added so much charm, and the owner’s friendly chat about their café, their dog, and local orchard recommendations made us feel right at home.
We can’t wait to return to this lovely small town and stay here again. Highly recommend for a cozy, welcoming experience!
- Chen (7/5): A budget-friendly choice for peak season - My wife and I spent the weekend for the cherry festival in Young. It was a bit late when we made the decision resulting in all hotels booked out in Young. Lucky we found this historical pub hotel in Boorowa as 35 minutes' drive is acceptable. Although the room is a bit dated, it's pretty clean with a comfortable bed. Brekkie was a help-your-self service with cereals, bread, milk, instant coffee, tea bags and juices. Nevertheless, easy parking and quiet streets. The room was not well facilitated. We stayed in room 5, a little double room. There was wall mount bracket for TV, with no TV installed. A wash basin in the room corner, with a mixer tap supplying only cold water. No electric kettle or tissues available in the room. Actually you could find a kettle in the brekkie area, but with thick limescale inside of it.
This was the first time for us to stay in a pub hotel. I hope we didn't expect too much. We understand it's an historical hotel with a long story, but taking small steps forward can make a big difference.
- Liz (8/5): Classic country pub with good vibes and friendly staff - Really nice historic building, staff were very friendly. Comfortable beds, lovely verandah Could do with a little updating, was a little rough in places but nothing too bad. Definitely many more positives than negatives .
- G (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (10/5): - The staff were lovely and helpful to us told us a bit about the area where we were staying, the food was great. The room we stayed in was a little small but was good. I would recommend it to my family and friends.
- Rebecca (8/5): Very happy, very much the country pub - The staff were truly excellent, and their accommodation of our dog was very much appreciated. The beds were very soft and all the linens were clean and fresh. The shared bathrooms were clean and the water hot.
- Mark (5/5): Good staff but facilities are very basic consistent wth the price - Very cheap price so expectations were low. Room was clean, beds comfortable but very basic.
Breakfast cereal, toast, Tea and Coffee included in price. Only 1 shower of 3 available was usable and bathroom facilities need a scrub and at the least and a coat of pain.
- Shannon (2/5): - Friendly staff but needs upgrading - broken beds and furniture.
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- Kathleen (10/5): - Very friendly, food excellent
