- Roberta (10/5): - Best small town experience!
- eric (9/5): met all expectations, price was high season on a triathlon weekend but fair market value - 1 min walk to the beach; great staff. breakfast options were good. parking was safe and well lit. easy walk to main street eateries, would stay again. 1 queen hearing impaired room, was a bit small compared to others, but clean and updated.

- 723patriciaa (10/5): EXCELLENT 5 Star! BEST location - Spectacular location with a view of green lake, walk to everything.. Plenty of parking, immaculately clean! Not sure how old this hotel is, but it looks as if it was built last year. It is so clean! Best breakfast EVER--open until 10 AM, no worries of them packing it up and closing it down before you're able to get out of bed! Fruit, cereal, three types of yogurt, egg white omelet, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with cheese, make your own waffles, various flavors, toast, bagels, english muffins, bacon, pork sausage, turkey sausage, multiple types of juice, hard boiled eggs, the list goes on and on! Very large and clean breakfast dining area.
Free bike rental for you and the family to ride around the lake! The room was clean and spotless. Everything worked well, mini fridge, coffee in the room, shampoo, conditioner, body wash bottles in the shower. The gym was spacious and fantastic with every piece of equipment you would want and need, it's spacious with terrific well stocked towels and televisions and weights. Free earbuds for your use. Room cleaning was at your request and they did a fantastic job.
Stayed here one week and bought two rooms in order to work, wifi was terrific.
The hotel was serviced by the best staff I had met in many, many years. Hotel manager JOHN was very friendly and hands-on with all aspects of the hotel.
He was absolutely incredible, working constantly at the front desk, assisting in any area he could--I saw him in the gym, refilling The water jug, checking all the garbage cans to make sure that they were not overflowing, outside the grounds making sure that the outside looked impeccable... It did because of JOHN! I cannot say enough of JOHN the manager! I often saw TIM the front desk supervisor, he assisted me with extra things I needed On the days, we didn't want the room cleaned-- along with GAYLE who managed the breakfast along with other hotel duties. I saw GAYLE very often, she was inside restocking items, outside making sure everything was clean, saying "hello" to me and the puppy( I was taking outside every few hours) and she was the first person you saw in the morning as she was serving up breakfast.
She is very happy and friendly and grateful to see you!! Gayle really made me and my family feel welcome. I should add that we stayed during the busiest time of the year 4th of July 2025. They were fully booked yet Each one of them took plenty of time to make all of us feel at home. During the weekday, I saw many businessmen and women coming in to stay, and everyone was treated like family.
Without a doubt I would VERY HIGHLY recommend staying here and we definitely will come back!!

- Jeff (10/5): - Great breakfast! Quiet, comfortable room.
- Jason (9/5): Good - Room was a little tight
- Njcarrow (10/5): Excellent Hampton Inn. - Highly recommend this hotel. It is very clean with helpful friendly staff. Great location. Walk to restaurants or stroll by the beautiful lake. Breakfast exceeded expectations. And they made our two small dogs feel very welcome with doggie treats left on the door handle.
- Cynthia (10/5): Pleasantly surprised! - What a nice surprise. The hotel is pretty new with local touches like artwork based on the Green Lake Area. Would definitely stay here again.
- 366miken (10/5): Great night of rest. - This hotel is very close to Green Lake so the view we have is good. The front desk guy (Tim) was very helpful getting our Wi fi up and running, very much appreciated this. He also gave us great advice on where to eat. A place called O'Neil just a very short walk from the hotel.
The room was spiffy clean and the beds comfy. We love this place.
- Berenice (10/5): - Good place
- David (7/5): facilities and stay were good. misinformation on booking.com created an issue for us. - breakfast was very good. close to things to do. well maintained the booking.com description of the property states bicycles are free, so we did not bring our bikes. at check in were told bikes were rentals. i am just bitter. pool was an odd tepid temp.
- Garey (10/5): Great hotel - This is the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, everything was so nice and the room was great. My kids even commented how clean the room smelled and not chemical clean but actual clean. The staff was all great, everyone smiled and said hello when we walked by, the service was quick and the staff was very helpful. We had our boat and the hotel had parking for us and it was close to a ramp to put the boat on the lake. Made it very easy. We have older kids and loved that the pool was open 24 hours. Would definitely stay here again.
- johnpZ9965CX (10/5): My extended stay - My stay at the Hampton Inn in Spicer Minnesota was outstanding, great location, the rooms are very nice and clean. The entire staff is very professional and friendly. I didn't feel like just another number. The breakfast is hot, and a lot of choices. They also provide A grill, and A Patio with very comfortable furniture, and A fireplace to relax by. I can't say enough good things about the hotel and staff. I'm looking forward to my next stay. I highly recommend this hotel, rather you're driving through,or stationary in the area more than one night.
- Darlene (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice staff. We were very pleased.
- Yiqun (9/5): Superb -
- Derick (9/5): The facility, which was clean and neat, was in a good location, just a bit pricey. - The location was great. The breakfast was pretty good. I would have liked an alternative to the feather pillows.
- Jean (9/5): Superb -
- Eric (9/5): The accommodations were very adequate for our short stay to visit family. - Breakfast was very good- great selection and fresh! We also really enjoyed the fitness facility, top notch equipment and loved that it was accessible 24 hours so we could workout early in the morning. The room was very small compared to other hotels we've stayed in - and the king size bed took up almost the entire space, it was a little hard to move around but we were there to visit family so didn't spend a lot of time in the room.
- Sara (8/5): - When checking in, the person at the front desk saw us but went back behind the wall. I could hear two staff members talking but no one came to help us. I finally rang the bell and the staff person who initially saw us walk in came out to help.
- Matthew (10/5): Very Pleasant Stay. - This is a great hotel. It was very clean and in great condition. They did seem to have trouble keeping up with the breakfast rush but with some patience, we had all of the breakfast food we needed. I did not feel the pet fee was clearly communicated so the extra fee was a surprise.
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valorie (10/5): Lovely hotel with super helpful staff - Very well kept, super friendly staff, great breakfast, pretty location Nothing- it was great
- Anne (10/5): - Great property.
- Bernadine (10/5): Was good for a stay - Breakfast an location were perfect nice big breakfast room Couldn't figure out the blind s so didn't touch them
- Linda (6/5): Pleasant - Location and newer hotel. Friendly staff Overpriced very small room. Could not control the temp. And it was to warm.
- Dawn (10/5): - The hotel is very new and everything is beautiful! My only complaint is that there's no hot tub to go with the pool, but the pool is nice.
- Rickdog1267 (10/5): Completely Satisfied - I was booked at a different hotel that had to close temporarily due to a roof collapse. Hampton Inn honored the rate for the other hotel , and could not have been more accommodating. Every staff member that I dealt with was professional and courteous which made my stay a great experience.
- Camila (8/5): Very good -
- CASSANDRA (8/5): - .
- josephtO1327PZ (4/5): Try the Sure Stay - The management of this hotel doors NOT reflect the Hilton ideal of good good customer service. The manager is not at all customer focused and the staff by and large reflect the low standard of service exemplified by the management.
TRY THE SURE STAY across the highway!
- Rhonda (10/5): We would certainly consider staying at this location again should we be going to this area. - The staff were helpful and it was very clean
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- tammymS1696AV (10/5): Clean hotel with an experienced staff. - We were comfortable during our overnight stay. The room was small, but we thought it was fine for one night. It was just two adults in a king bed standard room. We were happy to be in a clean well-run newer hotel in a nice small town. We felt safe and were able to relax.
- Scott553 (10/5): Great hotel - Very nice hotel near a beautiful lake. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The rooms seemed a bit on the small size but had everything one would need for a stay. Our room had a refrigerator, microwave, TV, desk, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, movable foot stools and one desk chair. There was a very nice outdoor patio with chairs and a BBQ grill and a propane fire box that gave off nice heat. Very comfortable sitting in the patio area.
- W Russell (6/5): Overall disappointing - Staff was unable to give me a receipt. Unbelievable. Said it was due tp using hotels.com
- Hanna (8/5): - Clean, friendly, safe, conveniently located near wedding venue and restaurants
- William (10/5): Comfortable Stay - Good breakfast
- Edward (10/5): Great place - Great staff ...great breakfast.. Clean and up to date..nice location parks food near by
Pool and outside sitting area with fire comfort chairs and couches
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Staff. The man at front desk that helped us with bike rentals was fabulous! The ladies in housekeeping were friendly and helpful. Price

- Monica (10/5): - I liked how really nice it smelled and how fresh the air was when I first walked in. The bed was super comfy !! The workout area was very nice and the indoor pool was a plus. I will definitely be staying here next time I come to Spicer, MN.
- Kathleen (8/5): Very good - location no hot tub
- Steven (10/5): - Lots of little touches - great workout equipment and towels, affordable snacks, great breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff, handy location. King room was a bit small.
- barbarapO8891BO (10/5): Quality Hampton Inn - Great location, clean room,bathroom,hallway,elevators..friendly welcome upon arrival..lobby and breakfast area is superb.Convenient location to area restaurants and public park and beach area. I will definitely stay here when in the vicinity again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): 👍👍👍 - GREAT place to stay!!! Staff was so helpful and friendly! Place was clean and pool is open 24 hours💦👍 Beach, bars, restaurants, convenience store are all walking distance !
- LeeAnn (6/5): - The room was super small. There wasn’t a lot of room to walk in it. I was surprised by how small the room was. I won’t return there because of the size of the room. Everything else was great
- Amanda (10/5): - Love this Hampton!
- Katherine (10/5): - Great
- Krista (10/5): - fun view of the ice fishing on the lake and very clean. Cute little rooms with lots of space saving amenities to make your stay relaxing.
- Ray (10/5): Would Stay again. - Had to go to that area for a Funeral. Hotel was very nice.
- Joan (10/5): Would definitely stay again! - Accommodating staff, everyone was very cordial. The hotel was clean and quiet, despite having a tournament team staying there (more of a commendation for the other parents than the hotel, but it sure helped!). Room was a little tight, but it was very well appointed with little pull out trays and extra "pouf" cube seats. Comfortable bed, cold fridge, beautiful views!
- Terry (10/5): - Convenient, New, walking distance from food and park. Good breakfast. Friendly staff
- 50rjohnson (10/5): Friendly, wonderful, updated - This was one of the best stays I’ve had in awhile. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and updated. Even the soap was nice and soft, worth noting. Couldn’t have asked for much more.
- April (8/5): - the shower was not clean. There were rust and mildew along the edge of the shower that appeared to have been there for quite some time
- 838frequenttraveler (2/5): Poor customer service - (Back story, we just left a wedding and we were in formal attire) When we arrived at the hotel around 10-11pm Saturday November 20th, we rang the bell and some lady came out of the back and she skipped all niceties and pleasantries then said what do you want, we asked about wine and she said we do sell it and then moments later said oh I can’t sell that as sales are only from 10am-10pm and then had to ask for a cork screw a few times.
Overall the hotel is exceptional except for the side entrance on the north east side of the building opposite end to the front entrance, for some reason the back door or most doors are not locked at night… This may be spicer but let me remind you that it’s no crime free area. Other issue is the elevator button on the third floor is sticky, seems like something was spilled on it in the past but no one has cleaned the contacts for the elevator button behind the wall plate.
Beware this hotel for some strange reason while being a Hampton under the umbrella of Hilton has extremely FIRM mattresses that will catapult you into a world of hurt and cloud9 experience like nothing before.
