- siyeon (9/5): I will stay here whenever I visit Sauraha - I felt very comfortable at this beautiful resort. It has a garden full of flowers and trees, and tables outside enjoying the fresh air and beautiful view. They served the same continental breakfast for 5 days, but it was good! Hotel owner is very kind and caring for our staying. Staffs are kind. Good location in Sauraha. You can see the elephants on the way to the resort. Whole place looks same or better than the photos in booking.com Water flow was a bit week at Water tap at the basin. You need to wait for some time for hot water... a bit wasting of water till hot water comes. Nothing else!

- Clare Evangeline Glover (2/5): Beautiful garden but staff not nice apart from that young girl. - It is a beautiful resort on the outside, lovely garden, lots of flowers 🌹🌷 and plants. Inside the room is dark even though there are windows, tv doesn't work, floor is dirty, bed linens are old and ripped, towels old and ugly smell. The owner Kumar and wife are not nice. Nobody comes to the room to ask if I needed anything, have to ask for toilet paper and towels, left the garage out on balcony, still there the next day, also the dirty plates.

My friend wanted to buy a specific flower found in the garden so was taken to the garden centre to find it! Also, we realised we needed one less room and they were more than willing to take it off the booking. So friendly and honest. We booked the safari trips through them too and it was great

I love the balcony with seats and the beautiful garden environment. I love the quiet location on the edge of town within easy walking distance. A large school trip arrived during my stay with excited students, which was very noisy at times. However, I enjoyed being invited to join their evening cultural dance show.

Super friendly Thank you so much. The garden is an oasis of plants and flowers you can stay easy a whole day in and relax. There are also some animals 🐕 🐈 🐝 🐓 inside so you might not feel the need to go on the typical safari 😁
- Jon (10/5): great retreat better staff - room size very good, grounds lovely. close to river town and restaurants. the best thing though is the staff. they went above and beyond what you would expect on our recent stay. without their help we would have been stuck in chitwan and missed our flight home due to the terrible floods. somehow they managed to get us safely back to kathmandu in time.

He is very helpful and arranged the safari tours and picked up. The staffs is very nice as well. The bbq chicken was very tasty and remember to try one. Please tips the staff when you leave.

- Mehrdad (10/5): Highly Recommended - After walking around the area, I realized that I had chosen the best accommodation possible. Everything was great. You can reach the beach by walking for 15 minutes. Access to tourist centers was very easy. The area was quiet and pleasant. The behavior of the staff, especially Mr. Kumari himself, was wonderful. Tours that were worth offering in terms of price. If I could, I would spend only 3 or 4 more days in the residence. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations. If you travel to this area. No need to go to another restaurant.

I especially enjoyed the private balcony. The room was very clean and had everything you could need, including a mosquito net above the bed. The hotel has a restaurant and I really liked the food. The staff was also very nice, the owner organized all the tours for me and brought me and other guests there, as well as picking us up. They have a few pets as well that roam around the property, they are calm and not bothersome at all. Nothing

- LInda (2/5): Poor Management - Manager would not honor our reservation for an AC room. Put us in a fan room and told us we would have to pay more if we wanted the AC room we already paid for. Told us we could cancel the reservation if we were not happy and now we have to fight for a refund. Very dishonest.
- Raf (8/5): Nice clean rooms, peaceful gardens in a quiet area - We enjoyed our time in Chautari Resort, the owner is very nice, he arranged our tour in Chitwan National Park for a reasonable price and with great guides that work directly with him... The rooms are really nice, big and comfortable... Food was ok, nothing fancy but good. On the day of our departure the owner arranged some bus tickets for us, and took a percentage of the fare, that's common practice and since he dropped us at the bus station it was fair enough...
