Guest Reviews
- travel_free (8/5): good for those on the budget even for a longer stay - Friendly staff, basic but clean rooms, very spacious downstairs area with free tea and coffee. Small but clean swimming pool, unfortunately pool was shaded. it is very basic and the rooms are a bit small, no views, balcony has enough space for the aircon, nothing more.

- Aaron (8/5): Great location nr to train station, 30 mins to the bus stations and 45 mins walled city -
- Marta (8/5): - The hotel is ubicated close to many places to eat and shop, everything we needed was nearby. It's not strictly in the center of Chiang Mai, but we were fine with that. The room was comfy and big, tea and coffee free access nonstop, laundry service good, and the possibility to buy snacks and necessities at the reception. It's a Christian hotel, and all the girls working there were super nice and helpful. Could be cleaner

- Bernhard (8/5): - Kleiner Balkon kein Wasserkocher

- Guest (7/5): - Very clean

- Gallagher (8/5): relaxing - friendly and helpfull staff, good wifi, quiet area no complaints, maybe the pool could be cleaner
- Sven-eike (7/5): Good -
- Tin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Raymond (8/5): Very good -
- Penny (2/5): - This place seems to be owned by a Christian church, and as such, they are money hungry. They only give you 2 600ml bottles of water per room per day, charging for any extra. The "free" coffee is horrible with dirty chipped cups mixed with the clean chipped cups, and no clean teaspoons. They have a bunch of confusing rules on the back of the room door eg. No standing on towels? The bed was so hard I'd have been better sleeping on the floor! Its very badly insulated so i could hear every noise in the hallway and outside. They had a tv channel list with 180 channels on it, but only 34 channels available. Dont waste your money here
- Mamara1234 (9/5): Superb -
- Paradon (7/5): Good -
- Tom (8/5): Very good -
- Timothy (6/5): Pleasant - Overall, felt fairly clean and neat, not fancy but spacious. A basic stay, asked for extra towels, was told we could rent pool towels, but could not have extra towels. That made it more challenging to block the light that comes under the front door.
- Robert (5/5): Passable -
- Milad (8/5): Very good -
- Zakahriah (7/5): Good -
- Liam (5/5): Passable -
- Aron (7/5): Great value and had everything I needed. Would come again. - Comfortable beds, effective aircon, lots of parking space, always someone at reception, washing machines available, and large rooms. The location is not bad, but about 30-40 minute walk to central Chiang Mai. After I rented a scooter this was no longer an issue. The aircon while effective was a bit noisy, but this did not bother me personally. The furnishing was not fancy, not an issue personally.

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff

Don't expect free water
- Travis (5/5): Passable - Next to train station
- Sethasan (7/5): Good - - -
- Charlotte (3/5): Pay an extra 500thb to stay elsewhere - Close to the train station Firstly the woman on reception was so rude I did not feel welcome at all. I felt like a burden to them.
The bed was by far the worst bed I’ve ever had, I like a firm bed but this one must have been set with concrete, extremely uncomfortable.
- Lee (8/5): - Pool a bit small and simple
- Panapatara (8/5): Very good - Bed sheets are dirty like didn’t clean it up
- Lee (10/5): Eden Garden review - Room is up to Thai standard. Elevator works. Pool is small, and the place is a long way from the city center. But good value for the money.
- Latt (7/5): Good -
- Carl (5/5): Passable -
- Anthony (9/5): Great staff, clean, quiet... - close to where I need to be there was only Thai channels on the tv

- Bethany (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kyaw (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gregg (5/5): Good dollar stretcher, if accommodation is hard to find - Elevator, water every day, large refrigerator Location requires taxi, or your own vehicle, grab taxi to old city area costs 100-250 baht depending on time of day , place is old
- Komson (8/5): Good price and you have all the things for a comfortable basic stay - Good price and very accommodating and friendly staff, good internet, especially in the restaurant. Guest where smoking marijuanas in the rooms which could be smelled throughout the hallway, as well strong smelling fruits. Breakfast was only available after 08.00 in the morning.

- Phipps (8/5): Very good - We picked this hotel because its just 5mins away from where we was taking an overnight train back to Bangkok, so for that was very good and the staff we're good, there even allowed us to leave our luggage behind after we checked out and went on a half day trip, thank you again for your help. I'm sorry to say this but even though the beds were large they were very hard, like really hard, i even looked to see if it was an actual mattress and not just wood, it good if you have a bad back but for me was way too hard.
- Arredondo (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sharon (5/5): Asked for an extra pillow wanted to charge me 20 bht. Eventually I persuaded them to give it to me free. - Not much Too far from everything. Had to cab it all the time.
- Thanatsit (7/5): Good -
- Michaela (7/5): Met my expectations! - We wanted a room to sleep for a couple of hours because our train arrived at 4am and we knew we would struggle to sleep on the train, I chose this accommodation because of its proximity to the train and it met my expectations. For the money, and 24 hour check-in, I was happy to have a place to sleep for a couple of hours.
- B.s.sivan (9/5): Great hospitality in Chiang Mai - Staff were very kind n very helpful in all aspects... No comments
- B.s.sivan (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were so helpful n kind No comments
- G (9/5): Great value for money. Clean and spacious. Washing machine available for low charge. - Rooms were big, very clean and comfortable. It was a bit far from city centre.
- Riia (8/5): Very good - The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean.
- Courtney (4/5): Not bad for one night I wouldn’t stay longer - Close location to the train Views of landfill rubbish from the balcony
Hospital LED lighting
- Nhia (9/5): We enjoyed our stay! - Friendly staff
- Claire (7/5): Good -
- Molly (6/5): Pleasant -
- Bway (1/5): Bad -
- Christina (7/5): Good - The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Quite a ways from town. Breakfast was a poor selection, but for the price it was reasonable. No one offered to help take bags to our room.
- Pongpat (8/5): Very good -
- Zaya (2/5): Convenient lication, poor hygiene. - Location was near the station, friendly staff The room was not cleaned properly. Old stains on the mattress. Dirt in corners of the room.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renee (8/5): Very good - Rooms were clean, bathrooms were like a wet room. Air con great and big new fridge in room
Supplied toilet paper, 2x waters, soap and shampoo daily
Washing machines on-site for 30baht per use
Chiang Mai train station is a 10 minute walk
Chiang Mai bus terminal 2 & 3 is 30minute walk
Staff were friendly, bed was firm
Coffee provided daily in ground floor common area
- Özgün (1/5): Bad - Room was enough large and clean. Stupid staff, never come again. They did not help for anything and they are crazy about money...
- Alexander (7/5): Good -
- Stephanie (7/5): Good - Emplacement à 800m de la station de train.
- Kristen (8/5): Short stay to get settled for longer stay in Chiang Mai - For the price this place is great value. Nice sized rooms, working TV and big working bathroom. There is also a little desk, water bottle provided and fresh towels daily. The place was a bit dated and the pool wasn't really clean.
- Rebecca (5/5): Disappointing - Not super happy with my experience at eden. Booked a room with a queen bed and a bath and when I arrived only a couple hours after check in started my room was occupied so they gave me a room with 2 twin beds and a shower and I paid the same amount. The water pressure in the shower was non existent but it was hot. Far from centre city and the beds really weren’t comfortable. I rarely leave negative reviews but I was quite disappointed.
- Eric (8/5): Very good -
- Reinder (8/5): - I stayed at Eden Garden only because I came back to Chiang Mai and all other places were booked solid because of the Loi Krathong festival. It’s a bit of a way from the centre (about 4km). That wasn’t a big problem as I usually ordered Grab moped that would get me into town for 50 baht. The bonus is it’s a quiet area. The negative is there isn’t really anything around the hotel. The staff were great and very clean rooms.
- Tracy (8/5): Nice Place - Standard room - The room and bed were really big. Large windows , so lots of natural lighting. The balcony was nice to have. The room came with a really nice size fridge, T.V. and lots of outlets around the room. Very clean and a huge amount of space. The pool was nice and cool, great for an afternoon swim in the heat of the day. They also have elevators which is nice.
Coffee and tea are free and located downstairs in the kitchen area each morning. The staff brought 2 bottles of water to the room each day. The front desk staff was very attentive and ready to help anytime I needed anything.
Close to Chaing Mai Train Station (10min walk). I walk everywhere myself, but it is close to a 40 min walk into the city center. Easy enough to go to the main street and flag a Tuk Tuk or Red truck into town (about 10 min drive) . Lots of covered parking for both cars and scooters. There are many places to eat at local vendors and 7-11 only a 10 min walk. Short drive to everything else.
- Andrej (10/5): Exceptional - Got help with everything I needed the personal was really nice and very helpful loved it.
- Juan (9/5): Superb - The facilities are amazing. The staff was friendly. Need a car to go to the center. Far to go by walking.
- Ellie (9/5): Superb - This place was a last minute booking for us and we were pleasantly surprised as it was good value for money. The hotel is clean, and the laundry was very convenient and affordable. It's a little bit further out than other places we stayed on Chiang Mai so if you're looking for somewhere central it can be a bit of a pain trying to get into the city. Also it didn't really have any restaurant facilities which would have been a nice bonus given the location isn't that close to many restaurants.
- Neel (10/5): - We showed up late at night. The staff was very helpful. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The shower was nice and hot. The place is not fancy but it is a very good option for the price.
- Pieter (8/5): Very good -
- Bradley (10/5): Very helpful staff - I appreciated the very helpful staff. The hotel was clean and comfortable.
- Pay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jutatip (1/5): Bad -
