• graham (9/5): - Lovely staff, room facilities good. Great shower. Breakfast was fine. Restaurant offers good meal choice and plenty of drinks choices. The large grounds are pleasant to walk in as far as the river front. Lots of birdlife to watch too. Good value for money. Our room was next to the staff laundry room so we were woken at 7am both days by the cleaners chatting and banging the door to their room.

• CMMcM (6/5): - The Thebe Carnivore Pizza 🍕 Location but now view at all, all rooms overlooked a courtyard. Very dark walk back from Dinner restaurant about 50 yards away, lovely big open room. The shower curtain was totally effective and the shower water ended up on the bathroom floor making it very slippery. Our AirCon leaked water onto the floor in our bedroom .

• Joerg (8/5): Thebe River Safari - ideal place to explore both the Chobe NP and River - Thebe River Safaris' vicinity to the Chobe National Park with its marvelous wild world of animals; Chobe is easily to be reached by a 10/15 minutes drive, and boat tours on the Chobe River can be easily booked. The restaurant offers a good breakfast and other delicious meals, the hotel is a very clean place, and the receptionists show professional politeness.
• LESEGO (7/5): FNB KBM WEEKEND - Great internet coverage. Breakfast was great Their showers are never short of hot water. Functional air-conditioning I loved the blackout curtains, superb.you want a dark room anything you want of the day those curtains can do that for you. General environment is great, love nature. Their beds were making squeaky sounds. If i book looking for a double bed and find 2 single beds brot togeda and beds made with single sized duvet,.that's being inconsiderate of my height.. Putting on a single duvet doesn't work for me as that one individual who like sleeping fully covered in a blanket.. The coffee stations in the room wasn't refilled as often as I had wished. The fact that the reception close and open at 7am..wanted to have my clothes pressed by 630hrs so i can be on the road by 7am..i couldn't cos the staff start work at 7am. The florescent light in the room is too much, the lights on the wall are enough.. The pool isn't well taken care of, all cracked. The area around the pool water logged and kinda muddy..

Our family room had air con which was much needed. Peaceful environment. We did not enjoy the pizzas. The pizza base was sweet! From the packet pizza base. Learn to make pizza dough and the pizza would be delicious. Service was good though. We book a game drive and a boat cruise through the Lodge. The game drive was good- but we didn't get a drinks/coffee break which we expected and that would've been nice. We did see lots of animals though....!

• Christa (7/5): Good - Lovely thatched roof accommodation with clean rooms and a restaurant on site. Wifi was poor. Upon check-out, we were informed that someone was on their way to tend to the problem. It would have been helpful to have been informed on check-in rather. There was no margarine with the breakfast and fruit was only served once we almost finished our breakfast. These are both minor matters, but it can be improved on. The river view is also only at the campsite and there are no facilities to sit and enjoy the view for lodge guests.

• Lesedi (5/5): The place was average, not worth the money. - Location Breakfast was poor, limited options, it starts late at 07h15 No bar fridge in the room No tv in the room Bubbled pillows Asked for an insect repellent and it was not available given the high level of mosquitoes Ordered pizza from the restaurant, it was burned, the meat on the topping was off. I ordered pre-packaged breakfast due to my early morning execution, I did not receive what I ordered a simple brown bread I got white instead, they said it will come with two boiled eggs I got one.

• Tony (8/5): I would happily stay here again. well managed. - I camped here a few years ago with a group but this time it was two of us and we opted to stay in the lodge. After a long 3 weeks of travelling it was absolute joy to put up our feet, turn on the aircon and relax. Very neat and clean rooms, no fridge and no self catering, but it included breakfast at the restaurant next door which was good as were the dinners (extra) from a varied menu. A pool is available, a good camp site to wander around whilst doing some birding. It is conveniently situated close to very good shopping areas especially Shoprite and it is not far from Chobe GR and Vic Falls. Nothing, maybe they could provide a fridge - it gets very hot there.

• Nigel (7/5): Tired rooms need a serious refit - the restaurant offered good value meals the place was obviously set up as a riverside campsite At some stage they decided to add rooms, built like a barack block with lines of small rooms adjacent to oneanothe in lines set in a quadrangle layout The rooms are old and tired with no character and definitely NOT worth the exhobitant price charged see the photos. threadbare seating in the room Tiny rooms. note the poor positioning of the mosquito nets - no good for twin bed layout, no good for double bed configuration.

It would be nice to have a small restaurant/bar deck overlooking the river close to the pool.

• Cathy (9/5): On Safari - Lovely location Meant for safari goers doing various bush activities as well as a comfortable place to sleep. Campsite also clean and spacious, good ablutions. Restaurant great food & beverages at really good prices compared to the rest of Kasane. Great staff. I stay here often. Maybe clear big bushes away along Waterfront & a few tables and chairs to watch the sun come up and the orange glow across the water going down in the evening. Social fire for all visitors, not just campers. Just more exposure to the river would be nice !

Good place for a 1 or 2 day stop over. - Breakfast was good, large enough variety if you wanted cereals, fruit or bacon and eggs. Meals were also good the chobe bream and chips is recommended. Would have liked to have had the option of some lotion, shampoo and soap bars in the rooms. A bit noisy in the mornings so if you want to have a lie in not the place to go.

• Sarah (9/5): Fantastic family and solo friendly. - Facilities were amazing food was great at the bar fair prices too. Would be nice if the pool was closer to the bar. Signage for the pool was confusing, I ended up at the bar. Need some rooms with proper double beds.
