- Kenneth (9/5): Will definitely go back - Great location and staff was awesome. We showed up a little late but they were still waiting for us even though it was their off season. They also upgraded our room for no reason. If you go in the off season, be aware that there is no food very close by
- Loube (3/5): A complete mess. - Did not stay - a total mess. They did have the place we booked open and after 20min. Or so finally contacted us with a new place that was under construction. They did give us a full refill refund. Drove 45 min yo find another place. They were like ready open for biz as it is a ski resort and it was off season. Do why were they listed for business?

- John (10/5): Cottam's Lodge was a very cozy, charming, old ski house. - The property is charming. A classic old ski house. Kitchenette and bathroom were as expected. Unexpected positive highlights were excellent Downlite pillows and a humidifier which was really appreciated in the high mountain air. Better than the bare bones cable TV channels.
- Joan (10/5): We were minutes from the ski area and that was the main reason for choosing this place. - We didn’t have breakfast but the convenience and closeness to the ski mountain was ideal! Well, it was just one room and a bathroom. Perhaps another chair to sit on, instead of just the bed.

- Framnes (8/5): Clean, quiet, comfortable, good location. - The location is great - our plan was to climb Wheeler peak. The room was very clean, in a quiet environment, and the temperature and facilities overall were very good. The futon bed, when opened, blocked easy access to the bathroom.

- Shannon (10/5): Great last minute stay - Ours was a last minute stay late at night. We were given quick and detailed instructions on how to gain access to our unit, plus it was easy to find. Only 1 1/2 mikes miles from the ski resort. Our room was very spacious and very clean. The bed and linens were super comfortable. The only con was a lack of water pressure in the shower, so it just took a little longer to get the conditioner out of my hair, lol. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

- Corena (3/5): First time in Taos Sky Valley… horrible stay. Do not recommend! - The room was good in size and space. Room on 2d floor. No elevator access. Needed for disabled body. No a/c. Ceiling fan not enough to cool room. Equipped with add’l filthy portable fan. For someone that is on oxygen, air quality matters and this item wasn’t usable. No screens on side windows to help with air flow. Shower curtain too short where water sprayed bathroom floors.
- DOUG (8/5): - Beautiful location. Clean, comfy room. The main and only thing I did not like about this stay was the ABSENCE of staff people to check me in. I arrived at the location by 7 PM but couldn't check in till 9 PM because there was no one at the desk to tell me what room I was in or his to gain access to my room. There was a sign at the front desk, saying there desk was closed for the evening, and it gave a number to call if there was no one there, so I called the number and the phone rang on the other side of the counter where I was standing. But there was no one there to answer the phone. I drove back and forth a few times between the Cottage and the main lodge hoping I'd find someone, and the sign at the cottage said to go back to the main lodge to check in, but of course when I went back to the main lodge, there was no one there so it was a very frustrating cycle. I actually called booking.com to cancel the reservation and was about to drive away from the location when the large called me and sent me a text with my check-in information. But of course it was already two hours after my arrival time. I never did see anyone, but at least they did get me into the room and once I got into the room, it was fine.

- Kionic (8/5): - We booked a premium suite for six peoples, 2 queens and a queen futon sofa bed. Compact little cabin is good for a night. The location is 1.5 miles away to the main check in suites, dining and ski park. The staffs are friendly. However I found no tissue paper in the bathroom, no extra blanket and pillows for the futon beds. The bed mattress not bad but the frame is wobbling. They have an outdoor hot tub and sauna which was nice however I was disappointed with the Hot Tub but NO jets. It’s under maintenance but only keep the hot water to run it. Overall I like this cottage and the Alpine Village.

- Rodney (10/5): - We Stayed two nights in two different rooms at his property. The property was very clean and quiet; The first room was spacious; the second not so much. The view of the mountains was stupendous. The first room had no toilet paper when we arrived; management delivered one roll promptly after a phone call. When we checked into the second room, the key cards did not open the door. This was significant because check-in/management was located a couple miles from the premises. After a phone call, management directed us to a lockbox on the site that contained alternative key cards to open the door. Yeah Overall, I would happily stay again and would recommend this place to others.

- Lilly Ellen (6/5): - Property required checking in at the base of the ski hill, and then turning back to actual room. Young woman at desk was kind and apologetic though. After returning down the highway to the actual location, got into room which smelled funny - like vape and BO (yes the sheets did too). Lights switches did not work and the side window didn't have a screen. The front, highway facing window had a screen, but who wants to hear highway traffic all night. That night the large trucks driving up and down the highway were loud and kept us awake all night. NO SLEEP due to noise, road and strange pops and creeks from the building itself. Also, there are no gas stations, restaurants (had to go back to the lifts to find 1 restaurant), grocery stores, within 20 miles. If you bring a pet - there is no place they can go that is safe as the room was directly off the highway. I left by 6 AM simply to get away to my next destination. If you are looking for a party room after drinking all day on the slopes - its for you. If you want a nice place to sleep and relax - find another.

This is brilliant. Every place shld do this. No stains on a white cloth. Way to go Alpine village. Loved it here. Plenty of towels.

- Richard (6/5): Nice room yet logistical nightmare. - The room itself was great. Rustic and exactly what I wanted. Good bed, reasonably well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom and a couch. Room could have used a regular height chair of some kind. The afternoon after my arrival, the WIFI pass code was changed. I had to drive to remote office location to get updated pass code. Inconvenient. Hotels.com website misrepresented the amenities. Showed a picture of a jacuzzi spa which is NOT included or available on this property. Caused confusion and conflict with Alpine Village management office. I checked out one day early due to inconveniences and road construction noise and delays. I expect a refund for my third unused night under these circumstances. Nice room yet a logistical nightmare.

The booking was made because my son and his girl friend needed a warm dry place to stay after getting caught in the rain while camping the night before. Unfortunately, there was NO hot water in the unit for their stay. After 2 nights camping they had reasonably expected hot water to shower and clean up.

- Lagarto (8/5): - Stayed 2 nights and there was severe construction noise across the street starting at 7am, second day was quiet. Shower needs another glass panel in back to keep water off the floor, and the kitchen seating is too tall for comfort at the counter. Front window is great for light, but needs a privacy curtain that allows light to transmit. Aside from these annoyances, the rest of the experience was very good. Check in instructions were never sent, and it has to be done at their slopeside sister location, not on site.

Room was definitely on the small side ana had we stayed for more than a couple of nights, would have been a problem with the limited space. Needed more outlets by the kitchenette. One of the lamps by the TV didn't have an outlet.

- Robert (6/5): - I stayed at the Cottage Lodge for 2 nights during a recent skiing trip to Taos. I arrived at the lodge, but there was no office. The cleaning crew told me to head up the road to the Alpine office 1.5 miles away. I did and could not find it. I returned and followed the cleaning crew to the office in Taos Ski Valley. I checked in without difficulty. The Cottam Lodge is separate from main hotel and there are no services. There were several nice features. I was able to store my skis at the main hotel and put my boots on there, leaving my shoes with the desk. The room at the Cottage Lodge was adequate. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom recently remodeled with nice shower and a comfortable bed. Room was a mixture of 1970-80 decor with some more modern updates. Functional for a couple. There was snow during my visit and climbing up and down the unshoveled steps with suitcases was somewhat challenging. Parking is immediately in front. There is a hot tub that I did not use. One other item: the Cottam Lodge is almost at 9000 feet. If you are coming from sea level, you might consider staying at a lower altitude (perhaps in Taos) as sleeping at that altitude was challenging. All in all a reasonable stay at a reasonable price with great snow conditions at Taos.

- Manoj (2/5): - Do not recommend this place to anyone. Place was supposed to be serene. Our experience was far from it. Outside it was picturesque. Inside - one word - crappy. Worst place I’ve stayed at for the money I paid. Room was either hot or cold. Temperature control didn’t exist. Floor was cold a couldn’t stay without our socks on all the time or on the bed. Bathroom didn’t have exhaust. One good this is, hot water was good. Bed was very soft and gave me back pain. Room service didn’t exist. We came back from skiing at 3 or 3:30 but our room was not cleaned. Other rooms were being cleaned. ABSOLUTELY the worst place to stay.

- Robert (10/5): Relaxing, refreshing and renewing. - We felt safe, the sound of the mountain stream was aesthetic, accommodations in unit was well worth the price. This is our second trip after moving from Taos and planning next trip to stay at Alpine Village Suites. Nothing about property that we did not like.

- Robbie (10/5): - Francisco is the best. I never had such great service from someone. I am a person with a disability and he was so accommodating . This a great place and will come back to stay.
