Unnecessary volume of lighting and light switches and lots of storage space -odd since at an airport its basically for one night. I'd have preferred options for eating in the evening not a relatively expensive buffet - so ate at the neighbouring hotel instead.

We called 3 times and waited 30 minutes for the pick up at the airport. In the dark it was difficult to determine the walking route. In the morning, there were so many waiting that we just walked. We arrived late and left early, thus airport hotel stay.

As mentioned in previous reviews, the curtain separating the bathroom area would be awkward if travelling with anyone other than a spouse. Breakfast is excellent. Staff were efficient and very friendly. Airport is walkable but we took the convenient shuttle.

Stayed in the hotel two days took the metro to downtown Porto and it was perfect. The parking is right on site. The metro station is a two minute walk or less. The breakfast was great the hotel staff was amazing. It just worked out perfect. And great value !!

We took the free shuttle back to our flight in the morning but get there early as there’s only room for 8 passengers and more than half in line had to wait another 15 minutes or walk. Had a lovely salad and soup at the bar but looked like a very nice dinner buffet that started about 6 I think. Breakfast buffet was great, available from 2am on!!!!! Would definitely recommend this as an easy and comfy stay by the Lisbon airport.

I would highly recommend for that purpose.

- Wendell (10/5): Early Morning flight from Lisbon - Overnight stay as had early flight. Waited 15 minutes for airport shuttle at 5am... then decided to walk. Actually alot closer than I thought. Maybe 15 minutes for a slow walker (me). Part of my stay included free breakfast. Normally when you check out at 5am. You get little or nothing at all. Not so with this hotel! Great Continental breakfast starting at 2am! Full breakfast at 6am! Besides the breakfast, had a wine before bedrime and they had a delicious Portuguese Red. I also was able to borrow then buy a Europe to US or UK plug adapter as I left mine in Montenegro. Overall for the price and purpose, it was an excellent value. Staff spoke very good English which helped as my Portuguese is pretty none existent. Recognition for all the staff!
- Allison (2/5): - This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I travel often. On the morning of our departure, the hotel completely cut off the water supply all morning. That meant no shower, no way to brush our teeth, no way to wash up, and not even the ability to properly use the bathroom before heading to the airport for a long day of travel. This is not an inconvenience, this is a complete failure to provide the most basic necessity. The staff’s response only made things worse. When we politely asked for help, they treated us horribly. Instead of showing concern, they told us multiple times to “lower our voices” as though we were in the wrong for being upset. They kept repeating that they were “not responsible,” refusing to provide any solutions or even an apology. At one point, the receptionist promised to bring water bottles, but they never arrived. If I had waited for him, I would have been late for my flight. Their words and actions showed a total lack of accountability, professionalism, and respect for guests. How can anyone pay for a hotel room and not even be given access to WATER? It is outrageous that a service we paid for could not meet the most basic human need. Not only did the hotel fail to provide this, but they also showed zero care or urgency in fixing the issue. Instead, they dismissed us and left us to leave for the airport feeling dirty, disrespected, and frustrated. This experience was unacceptable from beginning to end.
- Laura (10/5): - We missed a flight and needed a quick solution! Hotel Star inn filled our needs perfectly! Our stay was only nine hours but it was worth it! We have traveled to 31 countries and this morning's brunch was the best ever! Presentation, flavor, and service!
- Rebecca (10/5): Perfect location for the airport. - Stayed here because of a cancelled flight and it was an excellent choice. Extremely close to the airport and had a free shuttle to get you there. Breakfast started at 4am so even though we had an early morning flight we were able to grab a bite to eat and a cup of coffee.
- Mark (8/5): Close to the airport - Nice hotel close to the airport. Very confusing finding the parking lot and front desk. Room was nice but very little lighting. The breakfast looked great but we didn’t have time to enjoy
