- Verified traveler (8/5): Weird check in - Ok this is a great little spot. The room is gorgeous and clean as a whistle. The ONLY small hiccup is that you have to reserve a bit in advance (like 24 hours?) because they don’t have a front desk. They send you info on your room and how to get in, in a text. I didn’t get my text before I arrived and I was tired from driving and confused. HOWEVER, I called the host and they quickly fixed it and we were in our room in 15 minutes or less. So just know, don’t make a last minute reservation from the highway and expect someone to hand you a hey when you arrive.

- MISTY (4/5): Bug-Me-Out - Upon check-in used the restroom and noted that there were cockroaches crawling around the sink and on the counter when I turned the light on to wash my hands. Notified the owner and sent pictures. Was offered a partial refund which was only around $10. I had to sleep with the lights on because I was afraid of bugs crawling on me. Spent a very restless night. I had to go to the Dollar Store and buy roach spray and spray the area myself. Not many options in such a small town, and this one used to be the nicest. The shower was not very clean or in the best condition, with the drain from the air conditioner in the room draining into the shower.

- Judy (10/5): Heart Warming - As soon as I drove up to the location, it took my breath away. The appearance from the outside felt like I was driving up to my home. Once I entered the room, it felt like I was entering my bedroom. It was so heart warming, cozy, clean, country home living. I was very impressed and slept like a baby.

- Mod1 (10/5): The Inn is an ABSOLUTE GEM featuring all the comforts for a perfect stay away from home. - EVERYTHING! Loved the comfortable beds, spacious room, and comfy divan/sofas in the room. The coffee maker, microwave and fridge were an added bonus. The showers were GREAT too. One of my favorite things was the rocking chair outside your room, I spent two evenings out there relaxing in the awesome weather and looking out at the stars. It's also very quiet in the evenings, hardly any noise. The little notebook with info on surroundings to eat, etc. and a little history of the place was a nice touch as well. Can't think of anything!

I had to sleep with the lights on to keep them from coming out. I was bitten by some unseen bugs constantly while in the room. Terrible.

- Colton (7/5): Great staff and a cozy environment made this a pleasant place to stay. - The location (convenience off the interstate) and the beautiful setup of the property made everything easy and accessible. The Thermostat didnt seem to get cool enough and it was a little noisy throughout the night. Nevertheless the staff were great and the rooms were clean so I would definitely stay again.

- Gaye (3/5): I left so disappointed, wishing they would keep it up better. I can’t recommend it to family or friends anymore. - It had a king size bed that was comfortable. It was fairly clean. The shower was broken. The toilet seat was broken and when you sat on it you had to be extremely careful so the seat wouldn’t completely fall off of the stool. The AC could not keep up with the Seymour heat. It just barely puts out air . A ceiling fan or even a portable fan would help immensely. We have stayed here before and it just seems to have declined. It’s only about ten years old and we were so excited a new facility was built in a town that needed it badly. But it just seems they just aren’t keeping it up well.

- Betty (9/5): Attention to the details makes this inn a must stay! - The Inn was very comfortable and accommodating. Reminiscent of a family motel from the 1950s Front porch with rocking chairs where you can sit quietly listening to the water bubbling in the water features of the landscape or play a game of corn hole. Bed was luxurious- mattress was perfect and sheets were soft and inviting. Walk in shower with spa amenities available. Enjoyed this quaint little inn and would definitely stay again when in the area. Nothing negative to report.

- Maygan (2/5): - The owner (I assume) was texting me about the property for check in. First I thought this was great and thought it was an automated system but they kept texting. Second, we only stayed one night of our two nights booked and paid for, we left early because there was black mold on both sides of the wall where the AC is and weather was getting bad (snow). The owner also text me trying to say I stole a pillow and that is insulting. It smelled. It was very loud, neighboring room was fighting all night. Beds are so squishy that me and my husband rolled to the middle with each other, we couldn’t sleep. Smelled like cigarette smoke. Never once saw any staff in person or face to face. Very weird for hotels to be texting my phone. I hope they can make improvements. We were in town for a wedding.

Fairly clean inside but we had to use the quilt coverlet as a blanket because there wasn’t a separate blanket on the bed. There was no bath mat in the bathroom. There was a very dirty matt in front of the sink but I didn’t want to use it after a shower. No one on property to report this to.
