- Peter Vink (8/5): Ons zeer goed bevallen - Het ontbijt was echt super heerlijk en keuzes teveel om op te noemen alleen brood zoals in heel Indonesie anders dan dat we gewend zijn. Het personeel is heel aardig en behulpzaam. Van binnen ziet het hotel ( niet super groot ) er fantastisch uit met prima kamer en badkamer met douche . Bedden heerlijk. De lakens en handdoeken worden ( indien gewenst ) elke dag verschoond. Kamer en badkamer niet al te groot. Redelijk grote tv doch met fletse beelden ( ligt waarschijnlijk aan provider ). Het hotel ligt redelijk centraal doch wat opvalt dat de ingang via de garage loopt.

I also like the option for in-room facilities, water and coffee choices. the gym need a bit of improvement. the stationary bike is broken and missing an anti bacterial wipes after use the equipment.

Comfortable room and super friendly staff. Gym facility doesn't have a sanitizer wipes to wipe the equipments after use. The indoor bike is broken.

The star of this hotel is their breakfast. I should say, its almost like 5 stars hotel breakfast. So if breakfast is important for you, this is a perfect hotel Parking space actually not too small, but not big. Specially if they held an event. If there is not space left on 1P, dont try to go to the 2P if you have a very low car

- Hans (10/5): A wonderful stay despite a nervy beginning - We had a really memorable moment in this hotel because as we arrived in the hotel after a long trip from jakarta, one of the tyres became flat. Jay, one of the security/valet team members quickly called me and offered to help with the Tyre change. He event went the extra mile to help me get the Tyre repaired in the nearest SPBU. Afterwards, he helped putting back the original (and how-fixed) Tyre. What impressed me was not that he helped me because anyone will help if I asked them, but rather his quick and proactive thinking, combined with his experience in doing the work. For me this was the true definition of service excellence in hospitality. Throughout the stay I also notice that the service excellence standards for all team members are really high. Well done Chanti for having such a standard. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in Semarang. The parking space is rather small, but with a helpful team of security/valet, this is actually a non-issue.

The exterior design looks a little outdated, but surprisingly, it was beyond my expectations once I entered the lobby and went up to my room. I really enjoyed the variety of food, especially the Indonesian dishes, as I had been looking forward to trying authentic Indonesian cuisine. The service was tip-top—just like a 5-star hotel. I’m definitely looking forward to staying here again! Nothing

We came for breakfast at 08;30 on Sunday morning but perhaps this was too late since breakfast starts at 06:00 I believe. The queue for fried or scrambled eggs was way to long. At least 3 persons constantly frying eggs are needed on a bigger work station. See above. We loved the cleanliness of the hallways, bedroom and bathroom. 100%

- fos (7/5): Generally pleasant stay, when you do the premium rooms. - Great location, nice lounge. Amazing breakfast options. Never had that many in a hotel before. There was no alcohol for sale at the bar, even though they advertised. We had to change rooms twice because of water damage and mildew mold. They offered us to pay for an upgrade. Because all the rooms in that wing had the same issues. After we got a room without water damage and mildew mold, it became a pleasant stay.

Dit hotel zit verscholen, en heeft geen mooie buiten ontvangst. ook kwamen wij binnen in een vieze rokerige ontvangst. er zit namelijk een bar waar je mag roken. voor ons een doorn in het oog.

Colazione a buffet molto varia. Piscina e palestra a disposizione. A pochi passi c’è un Mall, situato su una strada principale con bar e negozi. Un po’ scomodo accedere alla piscina perché bisogna attraversare il ristorante. Non ci sono spogliatoi se non le docce. Sono presenti solo due sdraio. Palestra con aria condizionata freddissima. Bar nella hall che può risultare molto rumoroso all’arrivo di un gruppo.

Des serviettes et draps pas nickel nickel... Abords de la piscine pas très propre (nourriture laissée par des clients, pas nettoyée donc pleine de fourmis) lorsqu'on y est allé.

- Azalea Agustin (9/5): Pleasant Stay - I was impressed by hotel Chanti. When I book the room, I'm a bit worry because they do have smoking floor, and I'm sensitive of cigarette smell. So I'm afraid that the air circulation will not so good, that my room will have cigarette smell too even though I book non-smoking room. But it was clean, and I didn't smell cigarette at all in my room. Bed is comfortable. And breakfast is really fabulous, I really enjoy my breakfast time at Chanti Hotel. Lots of variety, and attentive staff. At Barcha (bar / restaurant on the Lobby floor, opposite the reception), they provide an indoor smoking area that is not separated by walls or enclosed in a designated room. As a non-smoker, I found the smell very disturbing. Even though there were two air purifiers placed in the area—and I chose a table close to one of them—the cigarette smoke was still very noticeable and unpleasant. I hope the management considers creating a properly enclosed smoking room to ensure a more comfortable experience for non-smoking guests too.
