• Mills (9/5): A hidden retreat. - Very private. Nice little touches with drinks in the fridge. Bruce was most informative and a welcoming host. Cosy as and warm. All was good.

• robin (10/5): We'll be back - Excellent facilities with some nice thoughtful touches. Very clean and comfortable and one of the best stays we've experienced in NZ. Big thumbs up for the patio and garden area, relaxing spot for an evening wind down. Large bed was comfortable and items like spare towels easy to access. Good range of well chosen utensils as well. Wife and I both rate this unit very highly and will have no hesitation booking again in the future. If I had to nit pick the toilet flush was a bit weak but that's digging pretty deep to find a negative.

• Ramona (10/5): - Anmerkung: ich war 2 Nächte dort. 10.-12.01.2026. Die Unterkunft ist hervorragend. Einchecken easy. Ich konnte völlig in Ruhe ankommen, dasein, abreisen. Es ist sehr praktisch angelegt. Garten, sanfte Rasenfläche , Bänkchen,Terrasse/Balkon. Man kann auch bei Regen draußen sein und z.B. Frühstücken. Grosses, bequemes Bett. Die Sessel sind ja sowas von bequem und direkt am Fenster, also hell, gute Lesemöglichkeit. Küche alles da. Aufmerksamkeiten sehr angenehm. Bad top, Echt sehr gute Unterkunft in Alexandra. Ruhig und doch mit dem Auto in 2 Minuten in der Stadt.

The garden is beautiful, and the room was very tidy and clean—especially the bathroom. The lighting throughout the room was perfectly arranged and very comfortable. At night, it was wonderful to sit in the garden and look at the stars. Amazing experience! This is honestly the best accommodation I’ve stayed in within this price range during my business travels. The kitchen was warm, welcoming, and fully equipped. I was pleasantly surprised to find sewing tools in the drawer when I needed them—such a thoughtful detail. The snacks were delicious, especially the cookies in the fridge. They were so good! If possible, I’d love to know the name of the cookies. Thank you very much, and Merry Christmas!

• Ursula (9/5): - A well-appointed studio.. Very quiet and peaceful location. An enormous comfortable king bed. Everything was spotless Lots of special touches, including snacks. We missed not having a hot plate to cook on, but we adapted.

• John (10/5): Stay a While - This place has everything - tucked away in suburbia. Great value for money with a really nice set up.Very comfortable and clean and the hosts have thought of everything. We only stayed the one night but this place would be an excellent choice for a multi day stay. A moderate walk to the centre of town. The only slight negative is the water pressure in the shower - especially when you compare it to the water pressure in the sink.
• Cherry (10/5): Enjoyed our stay - The first good experience was receiving an email via wotif to let us know what to do if the owners were out when we arrived. Once they were home they checked that everything was alright, told us to contact them if needed and then left us alone - perfect. It was a bonus having a private place outside to enjoy as well. Everything was clean, comfortable and well thought out.

• Sarah (10/5): - This is the second time I have visited Nangari Studio and always found my stay very comfortable. The owners Bruce and Ann are very welcoming and always put the heater on in my room before I get there, they even leave little treats to have with my cup of tea. The room and bathroom is modern with a well equipped kitchenette. It always pay to contact them before you arrive, so that they know if they need to leave a key for the room if they aren't personally going to be there to greet you. thanks for my stay and see you next visit

• Mariata (10/5): Nangari perfect for private accommodation! - Totally enjoyed our accom at Nangari, close to town and our host was very friendly and recommended a perfect place for our evening meal. Was a nice comfortable home away from home environment. Very clean & tidy and equipped with everything we needed.
• Richard (2/5): No one home. - I booked online. On their Orbitz site it said that you could check in until 10pm. We arrived at 9:30PM and the hotel was deserted. I walked around with a light, went into a few rooms and couldn't find anyone. We called the two numbers for the hotel about 5 times and got no response. We left to go sleep at a campground. Now Orbitz isn't giving me my money back.
• Dan (6/5): - Due to overbooking we coundl't stay at Nangari Studio itself but our host solved this for us and privided another room nearby which was impressive since it was in the very very busy Christmas to NYE period and many option fully booked. The area itself is nice and with the orchards of central otage and a multitude of option in Queenstown and Wanaka a relatively a within reasonable driving distance.
