Guest Reviews
- Jim (10/5): -
- Lisa (7/5): - Location It was adequate. Upon booking it was not quite clear that it was a motel, but it was probably the best available so I’m not complaining .
- Dan (8/5): Wedding sta - We liked the location and the bed, it was quiet even for being right off the main highway, parking was private because we had the very end room. The room was cold due to the heaters not working very well, the one in bathroom wasn't working at all, and we weren't able to keep the floor from flooding from the shower. These things were reported to management and should not be taken as "complaints".
- Myles (9/5): -
- Jason (10/5): Great customer service! - Quiet and neat
- Lisa (8/5): Good. I would come back - Room was good. Housekeeping could have cleaned shower and vents better. Breakfast second day not as good due to lack of people staying shouldn't be an accuse.
- Robert (10/5): Very nice great location. Staff very friendly. - Very quiet and easy to get to Nothing
- Lori (9/5): -
- Maryna (10/5): - Perfect place to stay
- james (10/5): One great suprise after another - Best prime rib and the poker tables were amazing Needed better drink menu for such a high end tavern
- Thorsten (9/5): Beim nächsten Mal gerne wieder - Die Unterkunft war sauber, die Vermieter sehr nett, Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus, Gesellschaftsspiele sind vorhanden, Weihnachtsdeko ausreichend im Rezeptionsbereich vorhanden Die Interstate war in manchen Nächten gut hörbar. Das Frühstück war continental.
- GARY (10/5): - No issues at all nice place
- Cheryl (10/5): - We enjoy the outdoor space to relax.
- Tammy (10/5): Very homey! - Very nice and comfortable place. Owners were very nice and put a lot of thought into making sure guests had all the comforts of home.
- Kristopher (10/5): - We were on a weekend off road trip up north of Bonner’s Ferry, and we were looking for the closest place to stay to the off road park our friends were staying at. We came across the Log Inn and thankful we did, 10 minutes from the off road park! They were extremely friendly, rooms were perfect for us, and it was very quiet! We would stay again if we ever ended up back in the area! We also love supporting local, and the Log Inn checked that box for us as well!
- Chris (10/5): - Our stay in Bonners Ferry, ID was very pleasant. Check in was quick and easy. Able to park right in front of our room. The room was large, recently updated. We loved the walk in shower. Breakfast was good.
- Kathy (8/5): - It was a very cute place. You could sit by the pond and enjoy you morning coffee or your evening class of wine. The rooms where very comfortable. The TV reception sucked. Beds where good. The staff was ok. When we arrived no one was in the office. The note said they would be right back. We waited about 20 minutes before she came back. Asked her about the area and she really didn't have very much nice things to say about the area. But over all the say was nice. We would stay again.
- Kimberly (10/5): Fabulous - Beautiful property, great people and clean. We loved our night there so much, we booked a second night.
- Scott (10/5): - The staff had no issues moving us when there was trouble with our room when it wasn't there fault our ours, some things do happen out of control, will be back in the future stays
- Trevor (8/5): - Nice rustic motel.
- Robert (8/5): -
- Michael (10/5): - Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean and comfortable room.
- RONALD (10/5): - Friendly personnel. Accommodating too!
- Faye (10/5): - A great place to relax and enjoy.
- Robert (10/5): - The hotel itself was very quiet and the staff were great. It is just off of a busy highway so there is some road noise.
- Kristen (10/5): - Quiet, clean and adorable! Would 100% stay here again and recommend to my friends!
- Rich (8/5): Great facility. Breakfast was good. Nice and clean - Nice accommodations
- Andie (10/5): - Great place to stay! It was clean, the
- Gary (10/5): - Very cute place.
- Peter (6/5): - The staff was nice, breakfast was ok with self-made waffles, bread, lemon bread, coffee. The room just didn't feel clean, various bugs and noisy AC.
- Reed (10/5): One of the most enjoyable hotels I have stayed in in a long time - clean and comfortable location was great and quite the clerk that checked us in and out was very professional. the shower was exceptional on of the best one in a long while. NOTHING
- Terri (10/5): - Beautiful log cabin style motel. Lovingly maintained and updated. Very comfortable, too. A refreshing pleasurable stay! Hope to have the opportunity to visit again!!
- Wayne (6/5): - Log motel looked as if had been rebuilt using newer logs & constuction methods. Still a motel where you park in front of your room.
Beds were massive, but comfortable. The rooms were massive also. Some of the previous building materials were reused in the rooms. For example, the door into the bath room looked very old and the door knob & lock didn't fit tightly in the door. You could see into the bathroom AROUND the door knob and lock!
The lobby was small & only had a few tables foreating breakfast. I guess they expected you to take your waffle back to your room to eat. Waffle was build-it-yourself, and was rhe only hot breakfast items. Cereal and a few pastries. Coffee, orange juice.
The GPS took us to the mailbox down the street behind the hotel! That might have been the original entrance! When we commented to the clerk, he just confirmed that's where the mailbox was!
We would not stay here again.
- Karen (10/5): - Loved the expanded parking areas. No worries about intruding on your neighbors space.
- Carlson (9/5): We liked this hotel. - Well run. We liked it. Nothing
- Russ (10/5): - Loved the room. It was a very clean room. Shower was excellent. Sink was dared but worked just fine. Bed was very comfortable for us. Couldn’t get TV to work but we were so tired it didn’t matter much. WiFi seemed good. Not a fancy place from the outside but would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks all!
- Namaste (10/5): - Great family run business. Clean and comfortable
- Katie (10/5): - Nice comfy bed, and clean. Super cute. The room got pretty stuffy at night even with the air conditioning on blast.
- Tina (10/5): - This place is adorable! Very neat and tiday and the staff were very friendly.
- Susan (10/5): - Wonderful room and would recommend to anyone.
- Brian (10/5): - Attention to details, from decor to handprepared breakfast, made the stay extra welcoming- a resort-like appeal.
- Tim (10/5): - Very nice/clean place with friendly staff.
- Verna (8/5): -
- Sandy (10/5): - What fun. Beautiful property. Owners were so helpful. Totally remodeled old motor inn. Park at the door. Everything in this spacious room was recently remodeled. Dog walking area was amazing with all sorts of nice touches and a trail through the woods.
- Katherine (8/5): - I liked how clean my room was. I also loved the owner, Abby, as she was very sweet! What I didn't like was the noise from the highway. Also, the pictures online show a serene pond and some walking trails. It's all overgrown and very noisy from the highway.
- James (10/5): - Cute remodeled motel. Very convenient and clean.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Beautiful Trees, lovely flowers
Staff was very gracious and considerate
- Phoebe (10/5): - Spacious room, comfy bed and nice amenities.
- Samantha (8/5): - Cute little place.
- Lianne (8/5): - We really appreciated the clean room and tightness of the property. It was easy to find and parking was plentiful. I would say our only disappointment was the breakfast in the morning… We had read so many great reviews, but was definitely surprised and disappointed by the very limited options. Would not hesitate to stay here again for the convenience and cleanness of the hotel in an area where options are limited, but would probably bring along our own breakfast foods in future.
- Richard (10/5): Derek was great and the food was amazing - Super friendly and clean Absolutely nothing
- Verified traveler (4/5): Refund requested… - We did not have a restful night and are disappointed in our stay. The wall air conditioner was loud. We could not get to sleep. It was turned off and a window opened.
The bottom fitted sheet was worn and kept slipping off the mattress. There was no sheet. The comforter was hot and the content material was in round tight balls. There was no blanket. The mattress was not comfortable.
Towels were small and had holes.
I suggest replacing sheets, comforter, mattress, towels, adding a blanket and getting the wall air conditioner to run quietly.
A large bug was crawling on the floor.
Pictures are attached. This property was not as advertised. I request a refund.
- MariaLev (10/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): - Great place to stay on our way through Northern Idaho. Would definitely stay again. Staff was kind and helpful and it was really nice to have a breakfast available.
- Rob (8/5): - Really enjoyed my stay. Will stay again next time I am in the area. Thanks!
- Tammy (10/5): - Cute place. Has a lot of character.
- William (8/5): - Nice breakfast, nice surroundings…
- Daniel (10/5): - Excellent
- Rebecca (8/5): Comfortable and Quiet - Very comfortable and quiet. Although it parallel's a busy highway it was quiet. We did not spend much time in our room as we were busy at a family reunion.
- Stefanie (10/5): - It was cute and quaint. Staff was great. Ckean. Quiet at night.
- James (10/5): - Nice quiet spot. Parking in front of the room.
Breakfast was good. Friendly staff.
- jamesdZ9924QC (10/5): Beautiful place and warm welcoming staff. - Very quiet, comfortable, clean facilities.
Friendly staff and nice breakfast.
Definitely would recommend and stay here again.
Close to the main roads but seems secluded. Only a short drive to city center.
Very cozy and comfortable room.
- ALICIA (10/5): Great place - Stayed for two nights on a family trip coming from Glacier en route to Banff. Great place, friendly staff, spacious room, and great breakfast. Location a short drive to town and hiking. We enjoyed our stay.
- Travis (10/5): - We always stay at the Log Cabin Inn when coming back home to Bonners Ferry! Class Reunion Weekend and it was such a beautiful, friendly get-away from the fun and crowds of downtown. Thank you to the owners and managers for all the hard work that you put into making this such a beautiful place to stay! Cheryl Brock
- Michelle (10/5): Great stay - Super cute and they take pride in their service. Room size was great. They have so many extra touches to make our stay comfortable. Would stay again.
- Timothy (10/5): - Probably the coolest place i have ever stayed. Log cabin feel, homey, secluded, great staff. It was overwhelmingly incredible
- Grant (8/5): - Super friendly and helpful
- Jessica (8/5): - Our first time to Bonners Ferry and Northern Idaho- loved the log cabin theme. It was perfect and had everything we needed- except coffee creamer in the room. But no complaints, loved it! Nice place!
- Felipe (10/5): - Beautiful facility, lovely grounds, beautiful room, loved the furniture and bathroom . Small toilet shower room
- Francisco (10/5): - One of the best places we have stayed in Idaho. The staff warm and friendly, the accommodations were clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was 👌. The locally made poppy seed bread was delicious. Will come back and stay again.
- DeWayne (10/5): - The owner was very nice and welcoming. We really enjoyed our visit.
- O9775PGjm (10/5): Absolutely delightful! - This little inn is so quiet and quaint. What a nice treat from the beautiful, up to date rooms to the nice breakfast, we enjoyed our stay. We strolled around the pond and then sat at our table outside our door and enjoyed the beautiful evening. Lovely!
- Tammy (7/5): -
- Lonna (10/5): A real homey oasis. Consider staying more than one night - Literally, everything! From room layout to decorating choices. The staff was friendly, helpful, and obviously good at their jobs.
Everything in the room was conveniently arranged and clean. The refrigerator was elevated for ease of access., as were the microwave & coffee service.
The water pressure was great and the shower floor had a non-slip surface.
The room lighting was thoughtfully designed with individual reading lights over each bed. The beds were comfortable and dressed in a welcoming fashion. It made me want to linger or throw out my travel schedule and stay at least one more night.
- Curtis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nathan (8/5): - Pros: the AC was cold, the bed comfortable and the room was spacious and quiet. Cons: the room could have been cleaner.
- Desirae (10/5): Quiet night - Quiet. Feel like we found a hidden gem. Friendly staff. We’d definitely stay again
- Christine (10/5): - Great place lovely scenery
- Blake (10/5): - All good
- Seward (8/5): - This is the location that I always stay in when I visit my family in Northern Idaho. Quiet, clean, good service.
- John (10/5): - Loved being able to park right in front of the room. Great little coffee hut just around the corner. Inn was very quiet despite being close to the highway.
Bed was really comfortable and the room was very clean.
If passing through again would definitely stay here.
- Delbert (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay.
- Douglas (6/5): - Room was noisy and very difficult to shut out light. Checking in and out was seamless and pet fee was reasonable. For a pet owner with an older dog, the tile floor everywhere was a challenge.
- JULIA (10/5): - The property was well taken care of. The room was warm and cozy. The flowers were beautiful! Enjoyed the breakfast items. And the owner was very friendly. Would stay there again.
- denise (10/5): - Great stay
- Bill (10/5): - Large room good bed nice staff.
- Rhonda (10/5): Best hotel we stayed at! - Nice cute hotel. Staff sure nice and helpful. Nothing
- Marti (8/5): This was a convenient place to stop on our way to Banff. The room was comfortable and pleasant with - For breakfast, I would have liked a bigger variety: eggs, bacon? The check-in was very friendly and we were provided with good options for dinner and things worth seeing in town. More options needed at breakfast.
- Lori (10/5): - The cabins are decorated really cute & they were exceptionally clean! It was quiet & the mattress was very comfortable. Close to the waterfall hikes we took and to The Gathering Place ( a wonderful place to go for pastries & a sandwich!
- Melanie (8/5): - Owners were awesome, very friendly, only issue we came upon was they said that they almost canceled our room because rooms were in demand and they were not able to reach us to confirm we were still coming because the booking site we used had our phone number incorrect. So thankful they did not cancel our reservation, that would not have gone over very well. A place we would definitely stay at again, just will call the Inn directly to book a room and not use a booking site. 😀
- Rhonda (8/5): Peaceful, peaceful. - The bed was comfortable. Loved the lily pond, & the flowers & landscaping around the entrance to the lobby. A peaceful place with a lot of character. The chairs in the room weren't as comfortable as we like.
- Jerry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dustin (10/5): - Clean and nice staff
- JoLynn (8/5): - The room was nice.
- Autumn (8/5): - They were accommodating and allowed an early check in so we could get ready for a wedding. The room was clean and had most everything that we needed although it was pretty basic. Understandable for a small place, but the lobby doors were locked until 7am so if you needed anything you had to call them. The room only had 2 K-cups, it was a bummer to wake up at 5am and not be able to have anymore coffee until 7. Overall, the place is nice and quiet.
- Heidi (10/5): - Friendly staff, close to the hwy but it was surprisingly very quiet. Nice little trails around the property, especially nice if you have a dog. Very clean.. rooms and property.
Would definitely stay again,
- Susan (8/5): A comfortable night on our journey. - It was a value for money one night stop. The included breakfast was a good start to the day. It was further from eating establishments than I realised when I booked. There was quite a bit of road noise from the trucks on the highway.
- Tiffany (8/5): Great ambiance and comfy bed for the parents - King bed was extremely comfortable. It would be nice if the side table was bolted to the bed instead of just attached. I accidentally bumped it, and it came apart from the bed and knocked everything over. We got it all connected again, but it was a bit of a pain. That would be easily prevented with a couple screws.
The kids said the twin beds were very uncomfortable, and one kid preferred to sleep on the hard floor instead. The bunk bed also squeaked a lot every time one of them moved.
The bathroom faucet was so close to the sink that it was hard to wash hands. The rest of the room was fine and pretty comfortable. It had a Keurig coffee maker and newer microwave and fridge.
We LOVED the atmosphere in the main lodge. So many cool things to to look at plus lots of board games and books you could use. The lemon poppy bread was fantastic. There was also oatmeal, waffles, and hard boiled eggs for breakfast in addition to toast and cereal.
If it was just my husband and me, we would absolutely stay here again. We loved it and were very comfortable. We probably would choose a different hotel or at least a different room with the kids.
- Janet (10/5): - Loved the rooms, clean and modern. Bed was great! The only downfall is the traffic of the highway thru the night . Should have worn my ear plugs.
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very friendly. The place was adorable, clean and quiet. We will definitely be staying again.
