• T (1/5): We felt it was overpriced, overrated. We wild never recommend it - The food was good Very poor maintenance, inadequate bathroom supplies, the bed sheets looked unwashed, the room was very badly finished. The access road was pathetic. 5.2km of dirt road

Want to.mention Ms Leela Kumari and Kushal Man Singh at the restaurant. They were very very good. The room did not match the description in Booking.com. The junior Suite as per room details shows separate living and bed rooms. But it was not so. The bathroom was leaking from the sky light.

• Himanshu (6/5): Ok stay with lot of travel hassles - Property has pretty good mountain view, you will get to see the peacocks in the morning. Good play area for kids. It’s pretty good If you just want to relax in the resort. Although the property is pretty good, I would not suggest to book the property if you want to roam around Udaipur since the property is far from the city, you will not get ola/uber from the resort and resort charges 900₹ to go to the city. You will get ola/uber from city to property but they will ask extra amount which will cost you around 700₹. Breakfast is not very good for the amount they are charging. If you order food from the restaurant directly, the quantity is very less.
• Daya (9/5): Superb - Anandam is a very big property located around 25 min from Udaipur city. The place has nice rooms and a good ambience. Lot of space for kids to walk around. The checkin and checkout experience was smooth. They were able to get us a car to roam around the city as well as Chittorgarh. The staff at the buffet was very slow on 3 occasions, they do not take the order properly , made us wait half hour for a basic omelette and don’t remember whose order it is.

Location is awesome if you are here just for resort, if you are planning to visit udaipur sightseeing this hotel is strict No especially if you have small kids. It is really far from all the tourists location, will take you minimum 45 mins to get the points. 3. The resort is inside a jungle it takes 15 mins from the main road to go inside and the road is deserted and last 1.5 km is too dangerous to drive. Even if you have a taxi it’s really scary to go on that road. If you just plan to stay inside resort then it the perfect location with mountains in the background but please avoid at all cost if you plan to visit Udaipur city sightseeing especially after evening

Pool size is very good. We would love to re-visit again. They must improve their break-fast as it was very small and not upto the level. Playing stuffs were in damaged condition. Towels were also in bad shape and need immediate replacement. Charges were higher for ordered stuffs. Tea was costing at 120 INR per cup.

To ensure an enjoyable stay, the resort maintains high standards of cleanliness and provides outstanding customer service. The on-site restaurant and pool are two of the lovely features that we enjoyed. The breakfast is mouthwatering and the rooms have amazing mountain view. The beds provide a comfortable sleep and the room service is on time and efficient.  Overall Prefect Stay at Resort.

• A1mit (9/5): Short break at a Pet Friendly Resort - Good property, sprawling open green area was the best part, given I have two pets who love to play fetch. Good restaurant, polite and helpful staff. Also help provide guide for short treks around the property Overall I would recommend Vantara Resort as a great place to stay, especially if you have pets. Nearby attractions Udaipur Lakes, Kumbhalgarh, Eklingji Temple, Nathdwara Temple, Statue of Belief, Haldighati Museum , Maharana Pratap Smark, all are a short drive away The approach to the property could have been better.
• Arthur (9/5): Very quiet and serene resort that can use a few small improvements. - - It is far from roads, city, and everything that makes noise! You can just relax in the nice nature to read a book, play pool, etc. It was the most serene and relaxing time we had in India! - The rooms are comfortable and well maintained with an amazing shower. Lots of hot water and great water pressure, the best shower we had in India! - There is a nice small "hike" (about 30 min) to a nearby hill you can do in the morning to watch the surrounding hills painted gold by the sunrise. - The WiFi is just terrible! In addition of it being very slow, spotty signal, and disconnecting frequently. You had to get a new user/password EVERY DAY! I can't understand why in such a remote location there will be such arcane and complicated access to WiFi. - The food was ok but not great. As the resort is remote you don't go anywhere else to eat so it would be better to have higher quality of dishes available. - The billiard table needs some maintenance. It was missing a ball and the cues were very worn and some broken. - Communication in English was not very easy with the staff. While asking for details about the hike we were confused why they tried to have us go with a guide, including saying that it was "dangerous" :/ - The resort is remote and the access road is very bad for the last 2km.

Breakfast was sumptuous and the staff were also very good in their service The bed was pathetic, easily the worst bed I had experienced in any resort/hotel stay over the past 2 decades of travelling all over the world. It was clearly an unfit bed. The room has to be provided with a heating facility, given the climate in the resort location. Location of the resort is far too remote. The resort is only suitable for those who have their own car. Relying on Uber/taxi services is not recommended. The resort is not even figuring in Uber app. You almost become a prisoner of the resort, if you have to leave the resort for any reason - check-out, emergency, sight-seeing. The resort's travel services partner is simply ripping you apart

• Subir (10/5): Exceptional - For people, who want to break free from hustle and bustle of city life, look no further in Udaipur. As the name suggests, it's a resort, nestled among flora and fauna. It's surrounded by hills on all side almost, which beem with forest life i.e. trees of different species laden with several different types of flowers , shrubs, birds of different species chirping all along the day, squirrels hoping around and potentially some more small animals if you go further towards hills. Once we arrived here, we instantly felt connected to the mother nature. It's so calm and serene, you let go all your worries and free your mind from otherwise many mundane thoughts. Once you attain decluttered, you start appreciating the place. You want to go to hills, pluck wild flowers and run around like a kid. I was arranged with a guide to take me to top of hills. I was able to trek upwards in 30 minutes, where you get to see some breathtaking views of hills, fields, flowers valley on other side. The trekking was complimentary, to my surprise. About facilities : the best thing that stands out is "food", they offered a good amount of options for both veg and non-veg, and one can be assured of quality and taste. My wife is bit hard to be pleased for being picky about food, but she was wowed with delicious food, what we had in breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was our wedding anniversary and they made it special by decorating room to our heart's content, which was a surprise to my wife from me. Furthermore, to make our evening special, they arranged outdoor dinner by pool with bonfire, to keep us warm during low temperatures of January. One notable mention - i am bewildered that they let us check in as early as 7 am in morning. They upgraded our room with a nominal charge and helped us with swift check in. It has happened for first time, that we could check in this early at any hotels/resorts. This shows, how important the customer satisfaction is for them. Nothing i can think of.
