Guest Reviews
- Brian (10/5): - The view
- Katherine (10/5): - This plave is amazing. They say that Oia has the best sunset but I feel the sunset off thd balcony while in the hot tub was the best vkew around. Also the breakfast provided each morning was so fresh and amazing. We miss it now that we are home. Would def recommend.
- Danny P (2/5): Not very clean and strong sewage smell - The view is great and that’s about it.
The sewage smell in the room was overwhelming that kept us up at night. They attempted to corrected but it didn’t go away, we were told to contact front desk again if the issue persisted which we did but no one ever showed up. We needed up stayed out and stayed up most of the time due to strong sewage smell. The balcony filled with sands and dirt that not enjoyable.
Very disappointed experience
- Barbara (6/5): Honeymooners would be highly disappointed - Although the view was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful, the room was very awkward for the Honeymoon Suite. There was no privacy on the patio (very large with minimal furnishings) being across the sidewalk from the hotel pool and a 2-foot wall between the other honeymoon suite next door. The hot tub was not hot. There was no shower, and the bathtub, albeit huge, had no way to plug the water to take a bath. Fortunately, we travel with a plug (that didn't work very well), but when draining the tub, water gushed on to the floor with black, dirty chunks of something! Very gross.
- Israel (10/5): - It was clean but we had sewer smell in the bathroom
- Zahra (4/5): - Not goo
- Zahra (6/5): - Everything about this hotel was primitive and there is no single chair in the room , the bathroom very primitive like you have a hotel in cave. The only thing was excellent about this hotel was real you view and breakfast was very good.
- Emily (8/5): - The villa is located a bit further from Fira, which I actually liked for privacy, but just make sure you have a car if you want to explore the island like we did. The suite itself is nice, and the views are amazing. Free breakfast is included which was also a plus. The only downside is there were a ton of flies around, but given the sewage system this was not surprising. Service was amazing! Would definitely stay here again.
- Michael (10/5): - Amazing
- Karla (6/5): - Beautiful place but not a lot of accommodation
- Steven (10/5): - Beautiful property, great staff who were very helpful with recommendations.
- Julian (6/5): - The views are beautiful, breath taking even, that goes without saying.
The staff are lovely, the room is really cool and cave like and very spacious.
Our property had a broken light, leaky broken kettle, the main plug did not work, the air con only blew out freezing so we were cold quite often in our room.
The pool is very lightly heated (be warned not really suitable outside high summer).
Needs maintenance is my suggestion.
The breakfast is a bit of a let down too, pastry and bread not very nice.
- Anthony (2/5): - The property location is a nice location but the actual hotel is not well kept. The room doors to the pool was broken bathroom smelled like back up sewer and the pool was dirty and not cleaned. The pictures of the villa online is not what you think when you get there. They did do a nice set up for me and my wife for our anniversary and her birthday but the place needs help.
- Charlotte (10/5): - Honeymoon suite was stunning, as were the views. Breakfast staff were incredibly polite and we thoroughly enjoyed the food! The only thing I would say is the cleaner would come in at completely different times every day and would want us out the room straight away. Twice she let herself in whilst I was in the shower and scared me half to death. One day she would come at 13:30 and the next she’d come at 9:30 so it was impossible to predict. We had got in from a wedding at 2am and she woke us up banging on the door at 9:30 wanting to clean so we had less than 5 minutes to get changed and leave the room! Perhaps “do not disturb” signs would be useful. We would definitely stay again though as we had a lovely time aside from the minor disturbance of the cleaner.
- Jernelle (10/5): - The resort was beautiful, and the receptionist was wonderful. She was kind, attentive, and helpful. The only issue was that our wifi stopped working on day 2. We informed the resort, but it still was not working by the time we checked out.
- JOHNNY (10/5): View! - Great view! Good people!
- Ana (10/5): - Beautiful central place overlooking the Caldera
Spectacular sunset views
- Georgeta (10/5): - Beautiful place, the sunset views from the terrace were breathtaking.
The hot tube always clean, room was very clean, daily changing towels and cleaned. Sraff were amazing, breakfast very good. Anything we need it Renia was there and she helped with informations, taxi bookings, recommendations for local buses or restaurants.I highly recommend!
- Randy (8/5): - Love the area being 10 minutes drive from FIRA, being in the middle of the island you can always go with convenient driving distance. Needs to resolve the issue of getting help with luggage after hours since No elevator access with this facility I am thinking for older customers coming up with heavy luggages with stair steps. Love the scenic views of Caldera and Fira cities from our balcony.
- Suvankar (10/5): - The Caldera view from the property is breathtaking. If somebody wants a quiet stay in Santorini, this place is recommended.
It met my expectations.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Vacation - The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly, helpful and a pleasure to be around. The food was delicious and the breakfast was plentiful. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
- Andrew (4/5): - We spent most of our time on other islands and wanted to ensure our one night in Santorini was special. That's why we booked a room with a hot tub to enjoy the sunset and end our vacation relaxed.
When we checked in at 4 pm, the receptionist was nice but repeatedly asked about our checkout time. I confirmed we’d leave at 11 am, the latest time.
After dropping off our stuff, we went to explore the island. We returned for the sunset but found the hot tub filthy, with debris, garbage, and dirt. It was unusable. While I’m generally laid-back and don’t expect perfection, this was unacceptable.
The next day, breakfast took longer than expected, and we were about ten minutes late checking out. The front desk called to remind us, though my husband had already been loading the car, and the receptionist could see us. When I left the room, the cleaning lady was waiting by the door, which felt rude.
I turned in the key and asked if the receptionist was the manager. She wasn't but asked how she could help. I explained the hot tub situation, noting that I paid almost $500 for the night and the hot tub was unusable. She was dismissive, saying hot tubs are never clean and cleaning staff leaves at 3-4 pm. I reminded her we checked in at 4 pm. Her rudeness was disappointing.
Despite the bad experience, the view from the property was amazing. I wish I could have used the hot tub to enjoy it. Just because we had this experience doesn’t mean you will.
- Alex (6/5): - Let me start off by saying this hotel was very underwhelming and in our opinion not worth the price. We were under the impression that this hotel was in Fira, however, we were sadly mistaken. It must have been barely on the zip code line to where they can put Fira on the title. It was about a 6 minute drive to the nearest parking which required a 15-20 minute uphill walk. Getting out of the property was very stressful as you cannot clearly see both ways the cars are coming.
The room itself was clean and nice. Please note, to not touch anything in the mini bar unless you are willing to pay €10 for a tiny pack of Pringles. There was a mini market leaving Fira that we got our snacks and drinks from.
The hot tub/balcony does indeed have a very pretty view of the caldera, however, the hot tub was very dirty. The best part of this hotel is the complimentary breakfast.
- Joseph (10/5): - The most amazing view i have ever had
- Jessy (10/5): - We had an amazing experience 🙏
- Michael (10/5): - Stayed here whilst getting engaged. Renia was great and helped set up a surprise in the room. All staff were great and very attentive. The views from the rooms are amazing and we didn’t want to leave the room the entire time as the best was right there. Breakfast is also excellent with a great view.
- Sara (6/5): - Great views. Owner and reception are hard to work with on wedding requests. Would not recommend staying here if you are getting married at st irini as there are too many rules revolving wedding guests but would stay if you’re just coming for a leisure trip with a small group. Personally won’t stay again, many hotels have the same view and are nice and accommodating
- Latoya (8/5): - The caldera view was stunning and the area was conveniently located. Outside of missing some of the basic features (microwaves, extra towels, etc) the experience was good. The young male assistant at the front desk was wonderful, and the morning breakfast was a delight each day. The property also offered a rental car option which we took advantage of and appreciated!
- Mohsen (10/5): - I wish I could give Villa Irini more than 5 Stars!
This Place was awesome, my wife & I and our son stayed at the Honeymoon suite for 4 day, we could not be happier, what an amazing View, forget Oia, siting in your own hot tub and watch the sunset is something else, can't say enough about the staff. Renie at the reception area was wonderful, she even called us a day before our trip to check if we need transportation. Ani helped us with our luggage's, such a wonderful young man, very pleasant and polite. what a Great Breakfast and the amazing staff who worked there. I would stay at this place over and over again. I highly recommend this place, Trust me, stay there and you'll find out why. I suggest renting a car, this island has too much to offer and Driving is a breeze.
Thanks you Renia, Ani and the entire staff, you made our stay a very memorable one. hope to see you guys next year!
- Courtney (6/5): Santorini suite - Great view from the resort, restaurant was great especially the staff in the restaurant. Unfortunately the front desk manager to be very cold and lacked customer service skills. Pillows and beds are very dates. Making it up the stairs in the suite can be little treacherous.
- William (8/5): - Very nice and clean, great breakfast. No Complaints
- Robert (10/5): - Excellent view. But the hottub is not heated, even on request.
- Valerie (10/5): - Amazing!!! Staff was super helpful as she had to meet us at midnight, our flight was delayed
- Simon (10/5): - Our stay was great. Lovely property and very central location on the island.
Breakfasts were amazing. Room and pools first class.
Maria, our host, was excellent.
We will be back.
- Omar (10/5): - Excellent area to stay. Not too far from Fira (Local bus hub) only tricky thing is getting back to hotel. But that’s not the hotels fault. The property offers hotel transfers for pick up and departures at a cost but still convenient. Reception is very attentive and accommodating. Would stay at the same hotel again.
- Heike (10/5): - The hosts were so helpful and friendly. This place is amazingly beautiful from every angle. I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Absolutely NOTHING negative about this place. It was perfect!
- Adrian (10/5): - The front guest Maria was amazing, she helped us with anything we asked, she made things very convenient for my wife and I. The hotel is nice and quiet.
- Zoltan (10/5): - Our beautiful unit #10 had a huge terrace with 2 loungers, umbrella, table and chairs to go with the sizable hot tub. The view is amazing. Maria at reception and George in the restaurant (and everywhere else) were super with tips, recommendations on which beaches and villages to see. And George hauled our luggage down and back up a lot of stairs. We had dinner delivered to our terrace one night. Very satisfied.
- Joshua (10/5): - Parking on site if you have a rental, breakfast (included) can feed a family of 4
- David (10/5): - This property is amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to book there again should I visit Santorini again. Maria and Cleo provided exceptional above and beyond service. They were amazing in the follow up and took great care with all of the guests staying there. The breakfasts were incredible and one of the evenings my partner and I decided to have dinner there and it was delicious. I would recommend staying in unit 5 if you can because it is away from the road that feeds the property and it's more sheltered from any road noise which was minimal to begin with. The views from the property are incredible and you won't be disappointed whatsoever. I highly recommend staying there.
- Jamie (8/5): - Villa Irini is a beautiful place with exquisite views of the sunset, seat and surrounding areas. It’s a 30 minute walk to Fira and a 10 minute walk to Lidl supermarket. Ilias is the taxi driver that has links with the Villa and is great, €15 to take you into Fira and a quick WhatsApp of when you would like picking up, always on time and very polite. The Villa itself is a lot closer to the main road than we anticipated however, with the windows and doors shut you could hardly hear a thing. The Villa we had was right next to the swimming pool with little privacy (this isn’t clear in the photos) however, the pool was rarely used and we hardly saw anyone. We only had breakfast at the Villa and it was beautiful, a variety of selection with the Greek yogurt and fruit a winner in our eyes. Maria and the other lady on reception were warm, lovely and on hand to sort out any issues you had. They sorted out transport for us from the airport to the Villa at short notice. It was the perfect place that’s just out of the hustle and bustle of Fira but close enough to enjoy everything Santorini has to offer. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
Our favourite place to eat was in Oia, Ammoundi Fish Tavern, the food was unbelievable, the view amazing and the service fantastic.
2nd was La Collinne in Fira, secluded spot with 5-6 tables for couples overlooking the se and sunset. The food and service was second to none and the Santorini Volcano desert is truly special!
- Dany (10/5): - overall good for 2-3 nights the view is very nice specially for sunsets
- Pankaj (10/5): Stay @ Villa Irini - Our stay was very comfortable. Though the weather was little windy but hotel manager- Maria and staff members were excellent. View was breathtaking. Breakfast was so good!!!
- Jeffery (10/5): - Probably the best view in Santorini. You will need to rent a car because no restaurants or stores are really walkable. The beds are extremely hard and the shower is not a traditional shower, you have to use a hand sprayer… water everywhere. Taxi was around $15.00 for a 5 minute ride. Breakfast is basically the same every day which gets a little old after a few days eating the same thing. Overall I would say it’s a great place to stay for a couple of days.
- Joshua (10/5): - Exceptional hosts with a very nice property. Amazing views. Quiet area that is a short walk or drive to cities on the island.
- Jasmine Imani (10/5): - Definitely will be coming back! Maria and her staff are so friendly and kind! Felt so safe and taken care of here. Beautiful views and the restaurant was amazing! Loved everything and everyone!
- Benjamin (10/5): Would definitely recommend - We arrived to a warm and friendly welcome from Vanessa and the team, Vanessa was very helpful with information and places to visit around the island, this continued whenever we needed anything throughout our stay. The hotel was clean, well maintained and the staff were all friendly. The view from the room and private hot tub could not be beaten.
- Tiffany (10/5): - Extremely nice and welcoming receptionist - Maria!!!! She gave great recommendations and made all of our dinner reservations. My husband needed a haircut and she booked the appointment and even called/texted me to confirm. She had excellent communication. Speedy service at restaurant and delicious breakfast/FOOD overall. We needed and iron and they quickly brought it to the room. The wifi went out and they came to fix it asap. There was a very nice gentlemen who brough us room service and also carried our oversized luggage all the way to our room. I loved the view as well. Better than Oia honestly.
- dania (10/5): - Hotel villa irini is an amazing hotel to stay at
Maria went out of her way to always greet us and ask about our day. She was extremely helpful when it came to planning out certain things. If I come back to Santorini this will be my first choice! The hotel room is very clean along with the tub and the staff is amazing !
- Walter (10/5): - The hotel was great and it has a great view of the caldera and the view of the sunset is beautiful. You can enjoy the sunset in a tub without the hecticness of Oia. The staff was great and always attentitive and always asking if everything is good or if we needed something. Thank you and keep up the great work.
- Jonathan D (10/5): great hotel with great views - this place is amazing. First, the rooms are like caves built into the side of the island. The views are amazing. There is at least one window that has a view looking out over the caldera. Our balcony and hot tub also looked out over the caldera. Breakfast is wonderful. Staff are totally amazing. Shout out to Maria, Roni, Evgeniya and Vanessa......
- Corby (10/5): - Our stay here was immaculate. Maria at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The rooms were perfectly humble and the view can't be beat. Would happily come back next time we come to Santorini.
- Zohaib (8/5): - Maria was great! All the recommendations and reservations were made for us. Amazing views and peaceful neighborhood away from the crowd. Everything is just a few minutes away by foot or renting a bike or ATV. Overall great stay!
- Mohammad (10/5): - Everything was phenomenal!
- Weihua (10/5): - It is totally misleading that the hotel is listed as three stars in Expedia. It's definitely five stars. The views are stunning all day long starting with your breakfast and ending with the beautiful sunset watching from the hot tub jacuzzi, and the night view of lights all the way to Oia. We walked from the hotel all the way to Oia via the cliff trail (5-hour walk, about 14km), very beautiful, and saw many lovely hotels along the way. The conclusion is that Villa Irini Fira has the best view and serenity. The staff at reception are all very helpful, with the luggage and all the information. Maria makes you feel very welcome and at home. Will definitely come back.
- Larry (6/5): - View was spectacular.
Great hot tub but maximum temperature was 38c.
Nickolas was very helpful and always there !
Nice winery (Santos 15 minute walk away )
10 eu cab ride to Fira or 35 eu to Oia.
No hotel restaurant or bar.
Pool was cold
No restaurant close.
- Andrew (10/5): Little piece of heave - If you want sunset views stay here also Irini villas is very private , not like other hotels that have bars and restaurants overlooking them. It was very clean and well maintained. The staff were so helpful and friendly
- Olga (10/5): - Amazing views and even better service. Perfect for a romantic stay.
- Luis (10/5): - Best service and attention, excellent location and nice sunset view
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hot tubs aren't hot, they're a bit room temperature. Fine during the day but not so much at night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing !!! A beautiful hotel set on the cliffs. Everything was immaculate from the rooms to the pools and staff.
- Juan Carlos (10/5): - Nice place and location. Very friendly staff.
- Janet (10/5): - The view from our deck was amazing! Christos is an excellent manager and met our needs quickly and efficiently.
George was always there to assist us and a really pleasant guy!
Breakfast was plentiful and served by George as well.
Overall it was a wonderful stay !
Thank you Christos!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The service was great. There were 2 problems, however. First, it would have been better if we knew in advance that there were many steps down to our room (over 50, and quite steep). Fortunately, we could climb them, but we are older people, and have the kinds of knee problems older people have. We would have liked to have been prepared. Second, the cleaning staff used an air freshener or scented cleaning product that was very strong. This seemed to be a problem throughout our stay in Greece, especially on the islands (not so much in Athens). Not only was the smell unpleasant, it also caused an allergic reaction and a headache.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Every thing was excellent. Helpful staff. Great facility.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - From the moment we arrived Christos greeted us. They took our bags in and led us to the pool where there were fresh towels on each sunbed. They worked hard to check us in 1 hour early. After touring around the area we found this to be one of the most amazing views around and with only 8 guest rooms, each one semi private with personal whirlpool tubs, it is so peaceful. The property has 2 restrooms and a shower available to guests before and after checkout. Wanting to make the most of our 2 nites stay we opted for a late flight out of Santorini we were able to check out, again leave our bags and go play. Then when we returned we enjoyed the pool, used the above mentioned amenities to prepare for our flight. We rented a car there at the front desk, it was so easy and they had many to choose from and the prices were better than the traditional Hertz. It was delivered and picked up to and from the hotel. George and all of the staff as well were right there for anything we needed. The breakfast was really nice and more than we could consume. We would definitely recommend Villa Irini Fira.
- Kaycee (10/5): - Amazing views from my room. Breakfast each day was great and in abundance. Felt like royalty as they served you. Lol
Definitely will stay at this hotel again
- Shen Shen (10/5): - Excellent boutique hotel with beautiful views of the caldera. The service staff were also great, responding really quick with all our requests.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - George was excellent!!
The view was breathtaking, the best views while in your own hot tub. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Great breakfast, staff is kind, friendly and hardworking, so tip them.........
Five minute car ride to town, 15min ride to beaches.
- Fadi (10/5): - Everything was perfect, the receptionist was very helpful. Great location close to everything. I recommend it especially for couples.
- Cari (10/5): Perfect spot! Away from the cruise ship crowds. - An amazing staff, view, location and room! What more can one ask. A must stay. Rent your car there and drop it off at the airport when you leave
- Pete/Dawn (10/5): - The Villa Irini Fira is an amazing hotel with a beautiful view, wonderful rooms and perfect staff!
The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable (nothing fancy- two twins together to make the king, but comfortable). The patio area outside the front door was very spacious and the hot tub is perfect for 2 people to enjoy the sunset. (The weather wasn't great when we were there - Early April 2019, but the Villa Irini Fira is a perfect place for any couple)
The breakfast every morning was great with many options and TONS of food. If you have any requests they are so accommodating.
The STAFF!! Nick and Costas were so very helpful with calling restaurants to make sure they were open, cancelling reservations for excursions (due to weather), providing recommendations for local activities and giving extra chocolate croissants :)
This is a great place to stay - one note, there are many stairs with no hand rails as the hotel is built into a cliff - so if there are any mobility issues this is not the place for you (this is why I think it is for adults only)
My husband and I would highly recommend this hotel for people would want a beautiful quite place to stay. Villa Irini Fira is not directly in Fira proper, but on the outskirts of town - it's an easy walk into Fira 15+ minutes to get to anything you would need. If you are looking for a crazy party hotel I don't think this is the place for you - look at properties directly in Fira or Oia, Happy Travels!
- Kaycee (8/5): - Amazing stay, breath taking views, great breakfast
Perfect location.
- Chris (10/5): - Superb property with breathtaking views. Wonderful breakfast. Staff could not have been more attentive.
- Natasha (10/5): Just Perfect - Great Villa.... perfect location.... very clean.... helpful staff....amazing views....comfortable bed....nice decor..... very fresh and good breakfast.....everything was perfect....and looking forward to visit again....
- Verified traveler (10/5): A Gem In Santorini, Away From The Crowds! - If you're looking for perfection in Santorini, look no further. This place is exceptional, with an unparalleled location with a view that needs to be seen in person. The hotel is not in the touristy, busy, section of Fira or Oia, but provides you with a relaxing and peaceful vacation away from the crowds. The view on the Caldera and rooms are truly amazing.....If you are staying here, I suggest you get a room with a hot tub. Whether its your honeymoon or not, you'll feel like royalty with your room overlooking the mediterranean. The rooms are spacious, clean, and give you that authentic cave-style experience those traveling to Santorini often look for, all at a much cheaper price than the overly tourist spots!
Breakfast in the morning is excellent, and the staff are great top to bottom. Super helpful with absolutely everything, and was always available for anything that we needed. A bottle of champagne upon our arrival did not hurt as well!
When we do come back to Santorini, we'll be staying here. No doubt about it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place is amazing!! We stayed here two nights and got married as well. Exceptional staff, unique views and great rooms. We miss it already!
- yasmin (10/5): honeymoon stay - great service. very friendly. best location with the sunset view. very clean rooms. great breakfast and fast service return.
- Del (10/5): Amazing views, fabulous staff - The pictures don't do this place justice.
Sitting in the hot tub and enjoying the view, it doesn't get much better than that.
The staff were brillIant, can't do enough for you. 100% would recommend and will definitely stay again
- Dan (10/5):
Once in a lifetime view - Such an amazing hotel. Each room has a stunning view and its own private hot tub to admire it from. The staff are amazing and can't do enough to help you. We left before breakfast on the last day and they brought breakfast to our room early. Bit far away from Fira but you can walk or take the bus from right outside the hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Super views with private hot tub - We stayed here as a couple for a few days and had a great time. It's quiet, stylish and has great views of the sunset, the caldera, Fira and Oia too. Our stay was made all the more comfortable thanks to Nicos the day manager who was 'service' epitomised. You'll need transport but there's a handy bus stop next door for getting to and from Fira and the port so that's good.
- Kay (10/5): - Beautiful private villas with breathtaking views of the Aegan Sea. Staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. Delicious complimentary breakfast!! Traveled solo and still thoroughly enjoyed my life. Seems bery romantic for couples.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved it! - Staying at the Villa Irini was wonderful.. from the breathtaking views, to the beautiful and clean room, to the private jacuzzi and impeccable service. Nikos at the front desk was most helpful and courteous. Andre served breakfast each morning and was incredibly sweet and humble. My husband and I loved the romantic atmosphere, as we spent evenings drinking wine provided by the hotel while eating delicious meals from their kitchen watching the sunset. We had everything we could possibly ask for to relax. The location was also ideal .. we didn't want to be in the middle of the busy Fira, but it was about a 30 minute walk away. I would absolutely recommend the Villa Irini!
- paulina (10/5): Perfect for a honeymoon! - Everything was great! The room was adoarable. The hotel is in fira and has an amazing view, the staff was wonderful and very helpful, they gave us great suggestions at the front desk and a summary of the island, the breakfast was delicious everyday and very filling, they even packed us some breakfast to go for the morning we left because we had an early flight. The hotel not in the center of fira, there is way more privacy and is a more quiet area, perfect for a honeymoon, for that i reccomend to rent a car, wherever you are staying it is better to rent a car. I highly recommend this place.
- Josip (10/5): Simply outstanding - Beautiful hotel, clean, convenient and welcoming. Best staff ever, hands down! Fantastic service and most professional staff with outstanding customer service. We’ve stayed in 5 star resorts all over the world and hotel staff of Villa Irini trumps all of them.
Simply outstanding.
Breakfast to die for, breathtaking views.
Thank you for The memorable stay. Keep up the great job!
- G (10/5): Absolutely 100% perfect! - What an amazing place, perfect in every way. Gorgeous views of the caldera, lovely warm private jacuzzi, and the staff... Nikos and Andrew are THE best hosts we have ever had. They would do anything to make your stay perfect and are a true testament to such a wonderful place
- Nitin (10/5): Nice views and friendly, accommodating staff - Hotel has very nice view. From arrival to departure the staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. They were able to accommodate for our dietary requirements during breakfast and recommend places to go and visit. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would definitely visit the hotel again.
- Teresa (6/5): Unusual hotel - Pretty interesting set up. Rooms are carved in the mountain. Pretty views on caldera.
Bed was comfy. Linens were changed everyday. Fridge full of drinks and wine, for additional cost.
Overall it was good experience.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fabulous - Could not give this hotel enough praise, staff and accommodation, food and emenities excellent. Can't wait to be back. Fantastic!
- Supery (10/5): Excellent Hotel for everything - Gorgeous view of the ocean from the room. Super nice and extremely helpful staff, and great breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Scenic Setting and Great Staff - What can I say, the hotel was perched on the cliffs of Fira, the views from our veranda were picturesque. Room was spacious and beautifully appointed and the free breakfast was substantial. The staff ... phenomenal - Marcus the Manager and his assistant went out of their way to be hospitable - spending almost an hour with our tour company to rectify a problem in the tour package we had purchased online. Our last day there we had a very early call to catch a ferry, so the staff at Villa Irini prepared and delivered a breakfast to our room so we could eat while preparing for our departure. Its a small boutique hotel so I'd suggest you book early to make sure you get a reservation. Truly wished we could have stayed longer at this hotel.
