Guest Reviews
- chrisrL3078FN (10/5): Robin is awesome. - Robin is super cool and nice. I think she was learning some new systems and everything went swimmingly. Fun person. Helpful. I had to do a webinar event (present it) and she got me into the business room, closed the doors and had waitresses serve me in there. She's a great representation of the place. Other girl at the desk I didn't catch her name but also sweeheart and welcoming.
- Linda (6/5): It was okay. - My husband's poached eggs were overcooked. Our standard king room was small, could have had another chair. The shower head in the bathroom was not placed in a good location. You needed to get into the shower to turn the water on because the door was fixed near the faucet.
- Heinz Juergen (5/5): Overpriced, not worth it - Nice location No style,

- lauraleigh1919 (4/5): Held hostage in our rooms literally - This is my review about the Fenway Hotel and autograph collection located in Dunedin Florida. We booked this reservation on January 28, 2026 to check in on Monday, March 2 and check out Tuesday, March 3. On one reservation number we booked two rooms and these rooms are US$500 a night. Upon arrival they check in front desk to employees were extremely nice but together they moved at the pace of one person. Singularly they moved so slow it took nearly 10 minutes for them to make three raspberry welcome drinks. I would love to pretend that was the least of our worries. When we received our room keys we were told that we were both on the second floor of the hotel but unfortunately our rooms are at the complete opposite end of the hotel. I’d like to start there and ask how that is acceptable. Two rooms were reserved on the same confirmation number at the exact same time. This would imply that we are traveling together. And the blank space stare we got back from the front desk receptionist when we said how is that possible? We booked these reservations together under one reservation. It is not as though we booked them separately. She literally had no answer. We were met with silence. So yes, this is an inconvenience, but not the reason for my review as we will live it’s definitely not acceptable, but it will have to do. We took the only elevator in the whole building and it was a sauna. Like seriously if it ever got stuck, and you were in it, there is likely a health violation for hot how the only hotel elevator is. So now we are in our rooms and need dinner. We then went to go to the restaurant which was conveniently closed on the day we checked in and then we went to the rooftop for food and drinks, which was so full we couldn’t even walk in. This matched our experience at the valet the two valet workers very nice people running around like chickens with their heads cut off. We have no choice, but I’ll leave this hotel and go and get some dinner elsewhere and this is where we found out from the very nice valet people who took about 10 minutes to get our car that just before we arrived 60 people unannounced showed up to dine at the rooftop patio. And they had to park cars appropriate enough for 60 people right when we arrived. And I mean, I understand the hotel is not gonna turn away that business but way to not let your actual paid guests. Use your services and we know your hotel is sold out on our stay so the hotel is literally saying oh 60 ppl no reservation? That’s fine we don’t care what our actual guests who paid to be here eat or drink we left and found a restaurant. And I wish this review could stop there but now it’s 9 PM and we actually do have some drink drinks on the rooftop patio. And my sister went back to our room for a moment. She was gone for over an hour. Our room key just stopped working for room 278. To the front desk she went and they reprogrammed the key. It still did not work. She returned to the front desk again again reprogram the key. It still did not work. A third time she went to the front desk and said I’d like a whole new key. I do not understand what is going on here. The front desk worker didn’t know either and gave her a whole new key and sent maintenance with her. The key did not work and maintenance. Master key did not work. The maintenance worker was the nicest interaction we had at the whole hotel. He was truly shocked. He could not open our room door and had to go and get what I would call a clothesline, stick it under the door and maneuver it up blindly to unlock it for us and then told us there are no more electronic readers to go into a door and they will have to order that and we will have to stay in our room for the whole night as the hotel is sold out and they can’t move us anywhere. He was very apologetic and said he would tell the front desk who would call us for some sort of refund or resolution as this is unacceptable and well, I agree with him that is unacceptable. No phone call from the front desk ever came. How can you run a hotel and have no backups in case anything breaks and then the only answer you have for your guests are I guess just stay locked in your room for the whole night when he left our front door didn’t even have a lock on it anymore. It was fully removed. So this hotel operates with zero parts on hand. If as it was explained “the key card mother board is fired” and the hotel is full, oh well, this is your problem now, thanks for the $500 usd room fee suckers. 2/10 and that’s only b/c we were in walking distance to our reason for staying at the hotel.
- Mike4TraveI (10/5): Always A Good Stay! - We have stayed at this hotel when friends from up north visit in the area. This time the gym was well ventilated as opposed to last year. Our room 254 overlooked the water. Customer service is exceptional as is the charm of the building. We got complimentary champagne upon checking in. There is live entertainment at 6pm as well as a rooftop bar that is usually crowded a little before sunset. After sunset, most left. Our room was comfortable for the 2 nights we were there. Also valet parking is available and basically a must since there is no parking in the immediate area.
- Lisa (8/5): Very nice hotel close to everything we needed - Location, cleanliness, friendly staff, comfortable bed. We were on first floor and at 8:30 am they were using a leaf blower outside our window. Also when I showered I had very little hot water. Windy so the roof top bar was closed.
- Judy (7/5): -
- Abigail (10/5): -
- Daryl (8/5): The location.was amazing, the hotel itself was clean. The staff was very kind and couteous - The history of the hotel was cool The bathroom floor was wonky, floor seemed mushy and mold in corners of bathroom ceiling
- Stuart A (3/5): Very disappointing. - Breakfast - terrible, location- average Hi-Fi bar food. No room service. Not enough seating in room. Bathroom sized for midgets.
- iriding (6/5): Quirky hotel - I was in town for meeting just a one night stay. Quirky hotel I was very surprised by the size of room and tiny bathroom. Very clean but small and at this price point I expected better. Super friendly valets and check-in very good. Main bar sophia was awesome
Very expensive breakfast. Small omelette side of bacon and a coffee $33 plus tip
Would I stay again ? Only if I had to attend a meeting
- W5476XXrobertab (10/5): Fenway Hotel is a must - The Fenway Hotel was perfect for our team meeting of 20. The Caldessi meeting room has wonderful natural light with an adjacent terrace for outside eating. The staff are so accommodating and helpful. The chef is excellent and produced tasty food. The facility is beautiful and unique. Directly across the street from the water with beautiful sunsets. Quaint town and restaurants are within 8-10 minute walk. Highly recommend.
- josephtS750NW (10/5): Very satisfying at best. - Attended a Wedding last night that was magnificent. The venue was perfect. Well done. The main bar was a good place too start. I however one of the bartenders name David needs sensitivity training. The young lady that we met ended her shift and was replaced by another young lady that was equally polite. This guy David was not. Not the kind of person the Fenway would want their patrons to meet on arrival.

- LuisVargasLeal (2/5): Terrible Experience at Fenway Hotel, Autograph Collection - Terrible Experience at Fenway Hotel, Autograph Collection – Avoid This Place!
1/5 Stars – Absolutely Disgraceful Service
I stayed at the Fenway Hotel in Dunedin, Florida, expecting a decent boutique experience from a Marriott Autograph Collection property. What a massive disappointment! The absolute low point came on checkout day when we went down to the on-site restaurant, HEW Parlor & Chophouse, at 9:30 AM for breakfast – a perfectly reasonable time since they serve it until at least 1-2 PM on weekends.
We were bluntly told there were no tables available because they had reservations for two large groups, and since we hadn’t made a prior reservation, tough luck! Are you kidding me? We’re paying guests at the hotel, checking out that morning, and you prioritize external groups over your own residents? No apology, no effort to accommodate us, no alternative suggestions – just a flat-out rejection. We had to scramble and leave hungry, ruining our departure.
This is not how you treat hotel guests, especially in a supposed upscale property. It feels like they care more about booking big parties for revenue than providing basic amenities to people actually staying there. Unacceptable, rude, and utterly unprofessional. If you’re staying here, don’t count on using the restaurant without begging for a reservation in advance – even for something as simple as breakfast.
The rest of the stay was mediocre at best, but this breakfast fiasco sealed it: I will never return and strongly advise others to skip the Fenway Hotel. There are plenty of better options in Dunedin that actually value their guests. Save your money and your sanity!
- Peter (8/5): This was our first stay at the Fenway and we will be back. I think that says it all. - The staff in general were friendly, professional and really provided a good customer experience. The food was excellent and we ate most meals there. The room decor was furnished beautifully. It was our first time visiting the Fenway and it was overall a great experience and we will return. we were in room 222 which evidently was just below the rooftop bar area. That created somewhat of a noise issue during the day although we were all right at nite. The bartender at the rooftop bar AND the bartender in the lobby could benefit from some customer service training. In both instances, we were left with the impression they were doing us a favor in bringing us a drink. Their customer service skills when compared to the rest of the staff we interacted with were mediocre at best. In addition The quality of the drinks seemed to reflect their attitude. not a good experience.
- jenniferL8803II (10/5): Great location for corporate events and for families - We had an agent meeting at the hotel and had our agents stay anywhere from 2-4 nights while other activities were happening. They thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset from the roof and the food we had for breakfast and lunch at our conference was fantastic. Some also ate at the steakhouse on property and said the atmosphere and food was excellent.
Many of our agents brought their families to enjoy the Dunedin/Clearwater area during the trip and they were so happy it was easy to get around to the beach areas.
They were easily able to walk to downtown Dunedin where there are shops and restaurants to choose from and the location is just adjacent to Clearwater Beach. It is a unique boutique hotel and absolutely worth staying at a very reasonable price!!
- icedgrande (8/5): An unexpected gem! - As frequent visitors to the Clearwater/Tampa area (I would consider myself an expert on all the hotels in the greater Tampa, Clearwater, St Pete, and surrounding areas), my sisters and I were looking for a place for a girls weekend for a birthday ‘staycation’ with my mom who lives locally. For this trip we were trying to avoid the Clearwater Beach area but wanted to be near the water with ships and restaurants but more low key- so decided to try something new and we were pleasantly surprised. The Fenway was a great fit!
We were a little nervous reading the reviews for the Fenway - they seem so mixed -and after visiting, I can understand why. This property will be a hit or miss depending on what your expectation is and what the purpose of your trip is.
The good - a charming property with interesting history. Lots of nooks and crannies. Cool vibe. Dunedin is a beautiful little low key waterfront town filled character and with shops and restaurants that are actually quality and not overly touristy. Definitely a place you could stay for awhile. This hotel is right across the street from the water so is a great location to take a stroll along the water and just a short walk or ride into the town of Dunedin. The rooftop bar - WOW- gorgeous views of the water and the sunset. It is under construction right now, but as soon as that is done, it will be spectacular, but even now with the construction going on, it offers beautiful views. They bang the cymbals at sunset every evening. Just lovely. the architecture and history of the hotel is interesting and makes it feel cozy. The night we arrived there was a saxophone player playing live music in the lobby and a lively bar scene. I think popular with local residents and visitors alike. Out on the lawn there was a man who had various telescopes set up for “star bar” where you could look up at the stars in the moon. LOVED that. A very welcoming atmosphere. The room was small, but clean and updated and fit us perfectly. We had breakfast at the hotel twice and it was excellent, especially the beignets. The staff were very friendly, professional, helpful, and welcoming wherever we went on property.
The not so good: OK Fenway, you have the potential – such potential – for an overall excellent choice for the area. The only area that needs significant upgrades to be a true Florida destination is the pool area. And it wouldn’t be difficult. The towels were old the size of washcloths, the chairs, old, dirty, the pool is tiny, but you can’t help that with the footprint of the area (and I’ve seen many pool areas that are small that are also very beautiful and aesthetic). This one left a lot to be desired (and there was a children’s birthday party going on the far end of the pool while we were there. pretty much took over the pool). Here’s your assignment Fenway - you 100% need to upgrade this area – offer bar service. It’s only a few steps away inside and that would be easy. Buy new towels buy new chairs, cushions, umbrellas and add landscape/lights out there -literally do anything that will make it more aesthetic and match the rest of the hotel. Honestly, it could be done in a weekend. If you do that, this location will be a 10/10 complete package for a low-key relaxed getaway in a great location. I’d probably recommend this hotel mostly for couples, a need a girls, weekends, adult trips – or if you just homebase to explore the rest of the area. But the pool area holds me back from recommending it for a family or special occasion trip unless you’re just looking for a homebase. Again, I can’t stress enough the impact that a pool area upgrade would have on this lovely, historic property. Do NOT stay here if you a great poolside experience. This would not be the place for that at this point. (it almost seems a crime to have such a mismatch and lack of cared for pool on a property like this- such potential out there wow.)
So overall, we loved the property and we thought it was a hidden gem that had great potential to be our regular spot. Nice job to the staff!!! You don’t always find good service in the general Tampa Clearwater area, but I have to give the staff here praise for really surprising us with their top-notch service. We look forward to returning.
- Theresa (10/5): - Beautiful hotel convenient to Downtown Dunedin. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the rooftop bar (even though it was under construction) and appreciated the friendly valet staff for their promptness. Great stay, we hope to visit again!
- Frederick (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay
- James (7/5): No more to say - Location Not impressed with the overall hotel
- davidkO4157YB (2/5): Not what you might think? Disappointed. - I live locally and visited for the first time as part of a high school homecoming celebration. I had high expectations for the property but came away disappointed. The lobby is underwhelming and the floors are actually buckling up. The roof top lounge is a disaster with no seating and under construction. The lobby bar is horrible and doesn’t reflect the period of the hotel. The front desk is off to the side and the property actually has toys for sale in the lobby. It looks like a convenience store. The food provided for the homecoming was average at best and not worth the price. This place should be renovated in a way to reflects the period and is more upscale. Not an autograph property for sure.
- Nancy (10/5): - Friendly, highly accommodating staff. Honest, accountable. I had forgotten a very valuable item in the room, and the staff had turned it in to Lost and Found!
- Manti (10/5): - The coffee pot did not always work and the sliding glass door in the bathroom was not easy to slide. The cleaning person was most helpful
- Barry (10/5): - Great place, been here several times, always nice.
- Thomas (10/5): - Staff was wonderful
- Eric (10/5): - Quirky and cool.
- Martin (10/5): - Always loved the view of the property —the views from the roof top are awesome —the dinning was world class—I’m local from the area
- Manning (10/5): -
- Vacation59604960629 (10/5): Simply Amazing - We are locals and live in Tampa, we had read about the Fenway and their restaurant. We made the drive over to explore and fell in love with the hotel and restaurant. The menu is very impressive, and if you have never had New Orleans beignets you owe it to yourself to have a cup of coffee and beignets at the Fenway. The menu is a Brunch menu until 2:00 but don’t let that stop you - it is amazing with unique items. The evening menu has some outstanding choices! With great food, our server Katrina was even better. Friendly, helpful, with a big smile on her face she makes sure you have an outstanding time.
- Craig (10/5): - The property was beautiful, room was spacious, and the staff were all very friendly. The rooftop bar was a special treat, and the sunset celebration each night was a blast. Definitely the nicest place to stay in Dunedin.
- Jay (10/5): First time to Dunedin - Room was cozy. Very comfortable bed and pillows.
- shereep597 (8/5): Came for the Jazz Vibe! - First let me start off with the positives -- love the Jazz vibe; the staff was absolutely wonderful -- smiles and hellos every time we saw them and they all wished us Happy Anniversary; dinner and Sunday brunch at the Hew was fabulous; loved live Jazz at Brunch and on Monday night in the lobby while sipping drinks and having meal at the bar; room was immaculate; rooftop bar very lively and fun. Now unfortunately for some negatives -- we had a standard King room which was nicely appointed but the bathroom had no storage for toiletries forcing us to line them up on the window sill; the shower pressure was low and very hard to open/close the shower door even after they sent someone up to try to fix it; no handles on shower door or in shower which seems unsafe; pool courtyard needs a refresh badly -- only 2 very worn umbrellas for the blazing Florida sun; cushions worn and faded; no bar service. The courtyard could be fabulous with the addition of a couple of cabanas, at least a dozen umbrellas, some flowers and more greenery, and bar service. It's large and spacious and deserves some love!
As part of the Autograph Collection, we think it needs some sprucing up and improvements to make it a stand-out property!
- William (9/5): - Staff was very accommodating. We attended a wedding at the hotel and the venue was great and the food excellent. Parking should be free.
- Janji87 (10/5): Friendly Fenway - Our first stay at the Fenway! This hotel is clean, adorable and the staff are very friendly! The only problem and it is an issue is that there’s very little water pressure in the shower! I would recommend addressing this. However we would visit again and ask for a different room if staying more than the one night we were there.
- Amy (9/5): Superb -
- Tredway (10/5): A hotel with a lot of history and friendly staff. - Beautiful hotel with great history. Room very comfortable and very friendly staff. The valet was perfect and got us our car very fast. We ate breakfast at HEW in the hotel and it was excellent. We came back a second day for breakfast. Our server was Kendall and she was very kind and very professional. She was a joy to talk to. We have no complaints on our stay and will be staying
again for sure. No complaints
- Dana (10/5): - Excellent stay. Love the location.
- LoriLynnMarie (4/5): Not Marriott Autograph worthy! - The ambience and decor here are uncomfortably weird and very different.
We had to pull our luggage up several stairs outside to get to the front entry doorway. The staff, however was pleasant and helpful upon our arrival. Our room was average at best, and had a heavy mildew smell. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay open, the glass shower door was extremely difficult to slide, the shower sprayed wildly and the towels were a holiday inn quality. Two of the six bike rentals advertised by the hotel, although from a third party vendor, weren’t working on a holiday weekend. The clientele was not the typical for a Marriott property. The Fenway needs some work. It is not worthy of a Marriott Autograph status.
- Eve (10/5): - Everything was great. I especially liked the bar in the lobby-a quiet option for a night cap after dinner. My husband had an espresso and I had a really lovely old fashioned. The whole staff was really sweet, easy to communicate with and the room was immaculate. I also recommend the chèvre grits. We will be back!
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional -
- 932saraid (2/5): Allergy Nightmare - The Fenway kitchen nearly killed three people at a single event. We attended a wedding reception at the Fenway hotel and made sure the kitchen was aware of all of our food allergies, and reminded prior to serving and over the course of dinner. In spite of this, three people were served food containing their allergens, and when asked, the staff denied there being allergens in the food until later when we noticed almonds in the green beans while eating. Had we not noticed, someone could’ve gone into anaphylactic shock. When the head chef was confronted over this, he didn’t seem bothered, but apologized and kept asking what he had to do to make it right. Their staff is undertrained. Under no circumstances if you have food allergies should you trust the Fenway’s dining service.
- funnthesun005 (10/5): Couple's getaway - The location was wonderful. The bed was comfortable. The staff was quick to reply to any requests. The only issue we had was our room AC quit working during our stay and when they saw it would not be a quick resolution they moved us to a new room. Lots of dining options nearby that we wanted to try so we didn't dine in but we did visit the rooftop bar.
- Trudie (9/5): Had a wonderful time - Wonderful staff. Nice room Swimming pool didn’t have many loungers or umbrellas
- James (10/5): - This property was everything I hoped that it would be! The service was exceptional. We were greeted every time we walked by the front desk and welcomed back if we left the hotel it was a nice touch. The rooms were clean. The hotel itself is just beautiful, it’s like stepping back in time in a good way. We had a room facing the gulf, which was an added bonus. And watching the sunset from the rooftop bar was amazing. A solid A+
- Francine (10/5): Fabulous accommodations and location - Fantastic weekend. Everyone at the hotel was so nice. They had a roof top bar and chairs out front to watch the sunset. Walkable distance from downtown!
- Charles (4/5): - Staff asked me to provide identifications twice when room door was not working. Made me wait till hotel manager verify my presence and identification. I felt second-class. Rooftop waiter and waitress ignored us or not listening us clearly. Food was not good.
- Go62155536810 (10/5): Excellent location, service, food and drink. - Excellent hotel. Excellent food, drinks and service. Excellent location. However, the repetitious 50's rock music playing poolside does not for relaxation make - with their Jazz theme ambiance one would think some Bill Evans or any other matter of inspired era soft sounds would be better suited.
- Tommy (10/5): Again and again - Quick staycation, we do this often and we love this place
- Andrea (10/5): - The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. You are greeted with champagne at check-in and there is a rooftop bar that has amazing views of the gulf.
- maureen (10/5): - Beautiful property. Well maintained and convenient to downtown Dunedin. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the rooftop bar. Highly recommend.
- Andrea (8/5): Enjoyed it, but pricey for what you get. - Restaurant and wait staff very good.
Pool area very plain. Could use some sprucing up to make more inviting.
The room also was very plain. I expected a nicer decor in room.
The roof top bar was nice, great view.
The grounds are very pretty.
- ziggyzuba (4/5): They tried to be an Autograph Collection hotel but… - When we arrived to the hotel we couldn’t even pull up to the front door and unload our luggage. We were told they were setting up for a wedding. Fortunately, our valet was kind enough to carry our bags to the front door.
When we booked our room, we were promised a gulf view with a balcony. When we entered our room we found out that we only had a suite facing the pool, no balcony.
The room was very underwhelming. The floors/carpets were dirty and outdated. The bathroom had a nice shower with a door that only Hulk could open. And the makeup mirror light didn’t work because it was almost off the wall. The sofa was also extremely uncomfortable. The king size bed was adequate.
After resting for a few hours we decided to head to the rooftop before our dinner reservation off-site. We had the smoked fish appetizer with pickles and crackers. This was the highlight of our stay. The cocktails were pleasant and the bartender, Kelly, was very nice.
Following dinner we stopped in the bar at the entrance of the hotel. The choices of bourbon were incredible and the prices reasonable. I had a Buffalo Trace and my husband had a Colonel EH Taylor. The barstools were old and torn. Also in need of an update. The bartender was very nice and knowledgeable about bourbon.
Upon heading to bed we realized there was a horrible humming in the bedroom. We had to keep the TV on so we didn’t have to listen to the buzzing.
I definitely will not be staying at this hotel again. For the steep cost, I could stay at a number of nicer hotels. Save your money and don’t go here!
- Michael (4/5): - Not a nice hotel. It’s not in good condition. Doesn’t look or feel clean. Not worth the price at all. Food is quite poor as well. Do not stay here!
- Donald (8/5): - It had character.
- Strenge (1/5): Didn't stay they cancelled reservation!!!! - They cancelled our reservation and moved us to a different hotel!!!!
- Jo Ann and Dennis (6/5): - Everything was great- staff, restaurants, facilities-except our non-smoking room which reeked of smoke.
- Lynn (10/5): - Rooftop Bar excellent service!!! The Dining Room staff food and service above and beyond! Check-in smooth kind and efficient. This place is everything you want a boutique hotel to be!
- William (10/5): - Very attentive staff. Very clean property, with a very comfortable bed. A 10 minute walk to Dunedin made exploring a breeze.
- Joe (9/5): Superb -
- janice (10/5): - Everything about The Fenway Hotel was excellent, the rooms, the staff, and the entertainment; however, the food at the restaurant was expensive and not the best quality.
- TravelAmerica1492 (4/5): Ewwwwww!!!!!!! - We booked this hotel for 3 nights during Spring Training. Upon turning down the bed in our room on the first night we were disgusted to find what looked like a blood stain on the fitted sheet. The front desk was contacted & housekeeping brought up a top sheet to replace the fitted sheet. Obviously, we had a conversation with the front desk regarding our concern about the cleanliness of our room. We have yet to be contacted by management regarding this issue. We will not be returning guests nor can we in good conscience recommend this hotel.
- Andrew (9/5): Historical building, now a hotel with pristine grounds and excellent staff. - History of the building. Breakfast choices.
- Susan (10/5): - Must smell in hotel topped with perfume infused over the musty smell.
- Lisa (4/5): - Staff took a while to accommodate…needs updating and rooms are small…
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- laud (10/5): Courteney and all staff excel in gracious hospitality - Courteney was extremely kind to us during a typical Sunday morning checkout rush on New Years weekend (no less!). She was understanding and accommodated us with problem solving above our expectations. She and her team were standout employees during our entire stay and we can't wait to return to the Fenway. BTW, the hotel is enchanting. Watching the sunset from comfy chairs on the green or from the front porch can't be missed. Follow up with drinks from the rooftop bar. The valets are heroic in the Florida humidity with speed and proved to be extra helpful. The hotel is spotless. The HEW Chophouse serves the best top-class meal in Dunedin.
- Alex (10/5): - It was a great experience, I’m pretty certain one of the valet drivers scratched my car, it wasn’t there when I got to the hotel. Keep make sure to look over your car and or video it before leaving it with them.
- John (6/5): - I expected much more given the cost of the room. Nothing exceptional but nothing wrong either.
- Kandicbarr (10/5): Great bar and bartender - We are regulars at the Hew Chophouse Downstairs bar. Our bartender Dave is fabulous! He always has our preferred drinks ready to go for us. He keeps us coming back. There is always something interesting and fun happening at the Fenway! Love ya Dave!
- Thomas (10/5): - Comfortable
It was cold out the couple days we were there so we couldn’t use the roof top
- mattnQ9588JC (10/5): Good times - My wife and friends go all the time to the bar just to see Dave he is awesome! Fun to talk to and makes great drinks what a character. The prices are normal for such a nice place since you get drinks and a show Lol, We would highly recommend Fenway a beautiful place.
- 138normant (10/5): Smoked old fashioned at the lobby bar with David is worth the trip - My wife and I are locals and frequently go to the Fenway for dinner, drinks and sunsets. We enjoy sitting at the lobby bar where we get the best drinks and service from David the mixologist. He is well schooled on wine and especially bourbons. He makes a spectacular smoked old fashioned. We like to get drinks and dinner at the bar. He is very professional and quite a conversationalist.
- Taylor (9/5): Superb - This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the overall property is lovely to walk around. Great location on the water and near downtown Dunedin. While it is pricey, it's a nice treat and felt worth the money using all the hotel amenities. The food was very good, but I was a little surprised at the number of times staff said the food was arriving pre-made. You would assume that with this caliber of a hotel, food would be arriving and being made fresh.
- brennam2025 (6/5): Upgrade needs an upgrade - Great location. Dunedin is a cute little town. On first sight, the Fenway looks like a charming old hotel. Staff was lovely and very accommodating. We checked out a day early, as the hotel was hosting an event which closed the rooftop area. Lots of people with name tags. Our room had a view of parking lot and was right next to the stairs. Has been updated but just felt like “smoke and mirrors “ or paint on a piglet.
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ariel (10/5): - The history and qualiry
- Sara (1/5): We were unable to stay at the Fenway this time even though they had about $300 our money. - I mistakenly booked a room for 2 nights after our arrival. When we arrived at 10:30 PM we were told about our mistake. Because I made the booking on Booking.com the Fenway was unwilling to transfer our payment for Sunday Nov 17 to Friday Nov 15. The manager was also unwillingly to book a room for that night even though they had one. My husband ask him if he'd rather have us pay for that room or leave it empty and he said he could not book the room on site - that we had to go to the website. We sat outside trying to decide what to do and where to go, We finally found a room on clearwater beach and checked in after midnights. We were very disappointed in this Marriott Auto. Collection hotel's customer care
- Palma (10/5): - I would have thought there’d be a fitness center but the staff was so thoughtful and kind
- John (10/5): - Had an absolutely wonderful stay in this historic hotel. Right on the water, walking distance to downtown Dunedin with all the shops and restaurants you can ask for. Everyone at the front desk was lovely and helpful! The room was great. Just a fantastic experience and I would definitely go back!
- Patti (10/5): - We were there for just one night but enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer, free champagne at check-in, nice rooftop lounge and easy walk into town. We even enjoyed a Halloween parade while we were there.
- Christopher (10/5): - Charming and casual. The staff was excellent as was the dinning
- Nicole (10/5): - We've stayed at a lot of hotels in the area but this was by far our best experience. The hotel has been updated and has great modern amenities. Walking distance to Downton Dunedin is really convenient. The sunsets view from the rooftop bar and from our room were stunning. Will definitely be returning.
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional - Cleanliness of the property.
- Gerald (10/5): Exceptional - The property is very accommodating, we rented bicycles ate in the onsite restaurant and went to roof top bar. This is the total package hotel
- Gottlieb (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brian (10/5): - Everything was top shelf from check in to departure. Roof top sunset view from the bar was spectacular.
- Marsha (8/5): - Very small room for the price. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Staff is very nice. Small bathroom with zero counter space on which to put your toiletries. The thing I disliked the most was that there is no self parking. Valet parking is free, but every time you go out you have to tip the valets. Gets very expensive after a while if you like to go back to your hotel multiple times during the day.
- Donald (10/5): - Unique
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Christina (6/5): - Great
- N3819NMjc (4/5): Fenway Speakeasy Experience Review - The concept is great, with an intimate and authentic decor. BUT: it's extremely overpriced. Drinks are $20.00 each (which you're NOT told until you get the check), 2 drink minimum and selection is limited. The three of us ordered 6 different drinks and none of them were very good; too weak or too strong, some not prepared the way we asked. To top it off there's NO food available except for a small bowl of pretzels. With tax and tips to bartender/ server/ parking valet, the total (including $36 reservation fee) came to $264. I'm sure corporate wants a profit from day one, but that's a fatal error in this case. They should have done this right by making it a "business-builder" for the brand; wow us with amazing drinks, throw in an appetizer or dessert and do it all in a way that would cause one to want to return and enjoy the hotel's restaurants and lodging. I've patronized the Hi-Fi Rooftop Bar many times, but I doubt I'll ever return after this disappointing "experience."
- JAMES L (10/5): - Loved it all. Getting married with u all this Christmas
- Christina (10/5): - It felt like I was stepping back in time to a more elegant time. Lovely grand hotel.
- Jason (10/5): - Loved it. Would go back. The dinner at the steakhouse was insanely good.
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Historic. Beautiful sunset. Great pool for laps. Terrific room layout. Incredible walk to downtown.
- Greggory (10/5): - I love the vibe and staff!
The rooftop bar is amazing!
- Tatiana (10/5): - Really cool hotel. All upgraded and very clean. The rooftop bar was awesome!
