- Pamela (9/5): -
- Pamela (9/5): Comfortable, great decor and amazing food - Amazing food menu, staff fabulous.
Professional and friendly.
Great shower and bathroom, comfortable bed.
Fabulous decor thought out, loads of comfortable outdoor space, nice tables and chairs.
Plenty of parking space. Air conditioning did not work during the night, had to open window as so hot, traffic noise as hotel is on a busy road into Henley.
- 129iank (10/5): An exceptionally comfortable hotel - One of the best hotels we have stayed in, spotlessly clean, friendly helpful staff and pleasant environment. We would highly recommend staying.
- Rebecca (10/5): Luxurious setting and great food. - Beautiful building. Lovely staff. The food was amazing.
- Terry (10/5): Great experience, would definately stay again! Well done :) - Absolutely fantastic experience, great staff, warm welcoming feeling, loved every aspect. Nothing, everything was perfect!
- Terry (10/5): Fantastic experience, great hosts and cannot wait to return. - We loved the facilities, but the staff were amazing! Everyone made us feel welcome, I would love to also give special thanks to the new night porter Thomas, he was absolutely fantastic and very helpful! Nothing, we loved every aspect of our stay.
- Parisa (10/5): -
- MC1606 (10/5): Great afternoon tea - Had an afternoon tea, a gift from our son for the wife’s birthday via a well known “experience” website.
Very welcoming staff and good friendly service.
Comfortable and with a nice ambience.
Food was ample, delicious and well presented. It was a struggle, but we beat it 😂
Although we sat inside, the outside area also looked inviting.
Definitely worth a visit.
It did seem odd not having to ask for the bill and pay though 😁

- Paul (9/5): Excellent stay and service was very good. - Lovely place. Lovely food. Ample parking. Clean room. All good. Thanks. Noise from the road.
- Q8611IXsteves (10/5): Outstanding - An outstanding hotel. Engaged and caring staff, lovely clean rooms. A real gem. Highly recommended.

- tracey (9/5): Wonderful boutique hotel - Very clean, welcoming staff and very contemporary modern feel.. food was superb and breakfast included in room rate was excellent Nothing
- Brooklyn1836492 (10/5): Wonderful stay! - Five stars! We chose a hotel by Heathrow the night before our flight, but WOW I would come back here whether I had a flight or not. The hotel feels like staying at an old friends house — only 10 rooms so small and beautiful — but so clean and modern and quiet as well. The Japanese dinner was amazing — such fresh sushi! — and afterward we sat in the cozy bar area and listened to the piano player play Elton John and the Kinks and took requests. We live in nyc so when we thanked him and headed back to our room he played “New York state of mind.” The next morning, complementary with our stay, we had the most generous and delicious full English breakfast (sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, etc) along with sourdough toast and pan au chocolat and coffees. Five stars for sure — such a special place!

- Kim (10/5): - The position of the hotel breakfast was good The main dinner menu too much Japanese food and the other choices weren't comprehensive enough
- Emma (10/5): Wonderful night away, amazing staff, delicious food - cannot fault! - Beautiful, clean, so welcoming, nothing not to like. Every part of our stay was wonderful.
- James (10/5): Excellent service and value for money, will definitely be coming back - Staff and food were excellent.
Manager George was very welcoming
- Peter (10/5): An excellent 2 night stay last weekend. All very good from facilities to staff to the food. Thank you! - Lovely design and ambience. Restaurant very good too and staff polite and helpful. Nothing
- petem449 (10/5): Great hotel! - Fabulous place. We stayed a Friday and Saturday night and eat in the restaurant Friday evening. Very quiet location and staff were very professional. Thank you!
- Edward (9/5): - Fridge in room was quite noisy. Only complaint
- mrscarolinedunn (10/5): Birthday night away - I booked dinner and a room at Hurley House for my husband's birthday as it wasn't too far from home in order for us to get back to parenting duties the next day. From start to finish our experience was incredible! Every member of staff we encountered during our time there was friendly and chatty. Richard, the resident Friday night pianist was incredible and even played Happy Birthday for my husband (not because we asked him to either). We had a happy birthday plate waiting for us in our room, and also a candle and birthday message for dessert. Lovely extra touches to make the day special. The sushi was also out of this world! The bedroom we stayed in was beautifully styled and spotlessly clean. Despite it being a fairly local hotel to us we wouldn't hesitate to go and stay there again for a real treat.
- Neil (10/5): - Breakfast was great with lots of choice N/A
- Katie (10/5): Brilliant staff, beautiful hotel and great location for visiting marlow and Henley - The hotel was amazing , even better than expected . The staff wee brilliant, especially reservations manager Chloe who helped with decorating one of the rooms for my mums birthday. The Japanese food in the restaurant was delicious , can’t fault this place!
- Richard (10/5): Quiet and understated excellence. Every interaction showed a depth of quality training and consistency. - Perfect in every way. The staff were genuinely welcoming and couldn’t do enough. The attention to detail and the quality of fixtures and fittings was second to none. Will be booking for a longer stay in the future. Nothing to dislike. I stay in a lot of hotels around the world and this is in my top 3 during the last 10 years.

- petersQ1197MJ (10/5): Will definitely be back - Great service, comfortable room, excellent bathroom. Food was amazing in the restaurant and the restaurant service was excellent.
My only observation… put some long life milk with the tea/coffee and give the guest the option of requesting fresh milk.
- Simona (10/5): An intimate getaway not too far deom - The small and exclusive makes it very special. The staff was impressive, kind and attentive but not intrusive.
.thank you! Nothing
- Janet (9/5): One of the best hotels we have stayed in - Fabulous hotel …friendly attentive staff would definitely stay again
- erikdR4817QW (10/5): Exquisite Experience - We recently enjoyed an unparalleled dinner for two at Hurley House Hotel, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Known for its fine Japanese-inspired cuisine, the restaurant exceeded every expectation.
We ordered the Togarashi Teriyaki Steak and the Saikyo Yaki Black Cod—both dishes gave new meaning to steak and fish. The flavours were exquisite, the presentation elegant, and the craftsmanship behind each plate truly showcased gourmet excellence.
The pre-Christmas atmosphere added a warm, festive charm to the evening, making the experience even more memorable.
Service was superb, with impeccable attention to detail. Luca provided outstanding hospitality throughout the night, and Mia was a wonderful waitress—attentive, friendly, and professional.
Well done to the team at Hurley House Hotel. Highly recommended.

- Nick (10/5): Melissa checked us in and she very kindly offered us a free upgrade. She was lovelyand so helpful during out stay. - It is all round excellence.
- Emel (10/5): Such a gem - Really nice rooms and quality finishes. Also a fantastic breakfast. Nothing
- 512malcolmr (10/5): As good as ever - A very good stay in every way possible. All staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble
- Glenn (10/5): 100% we would stop again. - 1st class property, finished to a very high standard Nothing. Faultless
- Erich (9/5): -
- Pauline (10/5): It was an excellent get away with my elderly mum and the staff were wonderful and accommodating. - Everything Nothing
- Shirley (10/5): Really enjoyable stay with lovely, friendly staff - Lovely hotel with good amenities
- Rob (10/5): -
- John (10/5): Very comfortable place to stay - Clean modern and very well kept
- Webby1968 (8/5): Beautiful boutique hotel - Hotel was beautifully furnished impeccable clean. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were very quiet. We were in Room 3 away from the road which was lovely. Only criticism is although a very generous continental breakfast, for this standard of hotel you would expect the cooked option to be included in the rate. We also felt the hotel lacked a cosy sofa area to sit and enjoy a drink. In the summer outside is available but when it’s cold there needs to be somewhere inside rather than amongst people dining in the restaurant.

- Escape62842756767 (10/5): Beautiful and Perfect - This is one of my Favorite hotels. The rooms are very big and spacious. The food is excellent and some of the best I’ve had at a hotel. It is very close proximity to the Hurley High Street and to other neighbouring towns like Marlow and Maidenhead and Reading if you were going into London, I wouldn’t recommend it since there isn’t a lot of public transport And it’s about 50 minutes to an hour and 10 minutes to get into London. I really enjoy the cleanliness of the room the amenities they give and how kind the staff is. It is a beautiful hotel with only 10 rooms. It is still beautiful and pretty big. There are a lot of walking paths nearby and there is nature and scenery all around the hotel and neighbouring areas.
- James (10/5): Great hotel! - Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and lovely staff Nothing.

- s121emm (10/5): Fab place - wonderful anniversary night away. - Was there for my weddings anniversary and when we were shown our room, that had been completely taken into account. We had kissing Swan Towels, flower petals on the bed and beautiful chocolates.
Had booked a superior room, which, as well as a bathroom with big shower, had a free standing bath opposite the bed.
Very romantic!
The bedroom absolutely lovely - and with luxurious touches, commensurate with the cost of the room - fluffy bathrobes, Floris toiletries, bath petals, dental sets, sewing kits etc. Realky impressed.
The service was extremely friendly and in tune with Boutique Hotel style.
The restaurant - which is Asian style, but with an International sub menu, if you want, was comparable to similar quality eateries in Central London in terms of price - therefore the feel wasn’t 100% in keeping with the price levels - there were lots of kids that were up and down (not an issue, for us) but if you want a quiet dinner for two, you might have a issue. That said, the food itself was lovely - on par with anything I’ve had (and we eat Japanese a lot),so no complaints there.
I think if I have any gripe at all, it is paying a fair old whack for a room, which includes breakfast, only to find that if you want hot food there is an extra charge - and it is at the same kind of level as for an evening meal (frankly just add an extra amount into the room rate to cover it - I don’t think it would put people off) . But again, it was beautifully served and the staff were both courteous and helpful.
Liked the gated car park - nice touch, and the newspapers with breakfast - another nice touch and having a bin in the bathroom AND the bedroom also appreciated.
Very, very much enjoyed our stay and would (and probably will!) go back again.
All in all, highly recommended.

- wortonmiller (10/5): Lovely hotel, great restaurant - We stayed two nights in a very comfortable room, with great quality linen and bed nice and firm. The room on the ground floor was roadside but very quiet and we slept well both nights. Great shower pressure, lovely thick towels. All very good.
The restaurant has a good selection of Japanese food, the gyoza were absolutely lovely, sashimi quality very good with powerful wasabi! We enjoyed the nigiri very much and the tempura dishes were excellent. We were in Japan two months ago and we did not taste better there!
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional - simple as that! - Absolutely fantastic - spotlessly clean - the staff were so friendly and helpful and an absolute credit to the owner. That is the early morning teal and the late night duty manager - all outstanding - and the guy behind the bar who made us whisky with honey and hot water because we asked if he could. Exceptional customer service - Nothing
- Marek (10/5): -
- rosieW8332JD (10/5): Always a Great Place to Stay - Once again, a great stay, staff were very friendly, the hotel is so clean and tidy, just a wonderful place to relax, its so hard not to keep coming back! Great location for Marlow and Henley, had a stroll around Hurley Village and then walked along the Thames Path to Marlow, very picturesque and wonderfully relaxing. Thank you again to George and all of your team for making us feel so welcome, hope to see you again soon.
- Richard James (10/5): Perfik - This was a one night stay with dinner for two. Everything we might need was anticipated. The sushi was delicious and is highly recommended. The service was exceptional and we were made to feel very special. The room was well appointed and we had one o the best night’s sleep in a while. The Egyptian cotton sheets were heavenly. We will definitely be back.
- Laklon (10/5): Very beautiful location. Thank you for the welcome - Everything was fine.
- Richard (10/5): Becomin a regular haunt… - Friendly Nothing.
- Gregor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (8/5): A lovely find in Hurley - The hotel was beautifully presented, both inside & out: it looked to have been recently renovated.
Staff were always friendly and attentive.
Rooms were beautifully finished and very comfortable.
We ate in the restaurant and the Japanese food was lovely. Continental breakfast could have been improved with a couple more options: fresh fruit, for example.
The rooms were not very well insulated from the corridor and upstairs footfall.
A little expensive for a hotel that I would not necessarily consider a destination in itself.
- Gillian (9/5): Very comfortable and a great location! This was our second stay and we will certainly be back again - Beautiful rooms and amenities; gorgeous outside dining area and an amazing sushi and cocktail menu!
- Toni (9/5): Superb -
- Elva (10/5): Exceptional -
- 3frequenttrvler (10/5): One night close to heathrow - Loved it. New hotel. Great food and breakfast. Attentive staff. My wish is for a gym! It was a Sunday evening and very quiet. Nice grounds and near villages and country pubs etc.
- Stuart (9/5): A lovely hotel in a beautiful area - Beautiful hotel, very clean, modern and well presented with comfortable and quiet rooms. Given the weather the outside terrace area was lovely for drinks. Easy travel to Marlow and Henley. Highly recommend the The Dew Drop Inn nearby, fantastic. I didn't quite understand why we couldn't check in to at least one of the rooms a little early given it was so quiet. Also the bacon sandwich was pretty poor quality and it would have been nice to offer breakfast outside given the weather.
- Derek (9/5): Superb -
- Beth (10/5): Exceptional -
- CJH1922 (10/5): Another wonderful meal - We’ve been to HHH many times but never eaten outside in the evening (we’re long lunch fans). Well what a lovely surprise!!! Lovely, live music, to add the best outside dining space in town. Food, as always, exceptional and staff are always attentive, friendly but always professional. Definitely will be back for another dinner.
- Emma (10/5): Beautiful - All new very well decorated and furnishings gardens well kept Nothing!
- Dermot (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (7/5): The road noiseis an issue in room 4 - It’s very well appointed and quite luxurious My room was incredible noisy from road traffic and I think I had elephants living above me both late at night and early morning so sleep was disturbed generally
- Jayne (10/5): Fabulous - Excellent service and extremely clean
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- laurasQ3905WH (2/5): Poor food, over priced, bang average - Food is overrated. Prices crazy, not worth the money.
Be careful as will also say your opinion is lies. No your food isn’t worth the money.
- Frank (8/5): Excellent - Breakfast was great. Facilities excellent Challenging for tall people . Restaurant not open Monday to Wednesday and no suggestions as to alternatives
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Mike (10/5): Great staff, Great stay will definitely be back.Very Well done guys - Just excellent attention to detail. Very relaxing and rooms first class and spotless. N/a
- Nooffenceintended (10/5): Definitely recommend - Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious, room was lovely and clean with some nice little extras in the bathroom.
Only negative would be that the standard room size is very small, so consider upgrading to a larger room if you have much luggage.
- mattking756 (10/5): Hurley house - Very comforting, relaxing hotel. Beautiful rooms and restaurant, beds very comfortable, lovely clean toilet facilities. FOH and reservations team very friendly, lovely and accommodating. The food was very very good, the sushi was great and selection was incredible. Will definitely be back to try the speciality sushi menu.
- Richard (10/5): Incredible welcome and becoming a favourite of mine - Staff were amazing - food wonderful too Nothing really
- Larisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- howfunny321 (10/5): Fantastic hotel and restaurant. A real gem. - Hurley House Hotel is a real gem. We had a fantastic stay and the staff were great. They made our anniversary very special. The room was spotless, modern yet full of character. The food in the restaurant was fantastic.
- Kai (10/5): A fantastic hotel and restaurant with amazing staff. - The hotel is perfectly finished. It is modern yet full of character. The room was very clean and felt luxurious. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It was our wedding anniversary and the staff had scattered petals on the bed and left a little treat. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious and the Italian gentleman who served us was brilliant and attentive. Nothing.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. All the staff were extremely professional and welcoming.
We ate in the restaurant which was outstanding in terms of food and service. I would highly recommend Hurley House.
- mariecP6923AP (10/5): Fantastic. We have been many times and we are never disappointed. The staff are welcoming and nothing is to much trouble - Exceptional. From the moment you step in. So welcoming. The staff are amazing. We have been many times to stay and also eat. Cleanliness is second to none. We just love Hurley House. 10/10. George and team well done. Keep up the good work. Marie & Damian
- Clare (9/5): Will definitely return! - Beautifully appointed hotel and very helpful staff. Only two small quibbles, the bath towels whilst beautifully designed are rather small in size so don’t feel luxurious and secondly, after a long journey, we were rather hungry on arrival so was hoping for a biscuit on the tea tray but sadly there were none.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic one night stay at this beautiful hotel to celebrate our Anniversary.
Everything was to an exceptional standard…the staff, the room, our evening meal, the breakfast…everything! Would definitely stay here again to celebrate a special occasion. Nothing…everything was perfect.
- Lisa (9/5): Wonderful & Classy Hotel with lovely staff - The complete stay was wonderful along with the dinner in the evening - wonderful staff at dinner and also the ambience. Top class !
Stayed all over the world and I have to say it matched some of them ! That’s not usual here in England - top marks Can’t find anything !
- 899geoff (10/5): Great Place to Stay - Hurley House is a real favourite of ours, we have been coming back since it first opened, always a treat to stay there, staff are very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Very much looking forward to going back in the summer. Thank you to George and your Team, best wishes, Geoff and Rosie.
- Tony (10/5): Quiet and comfortable. - Great hotel, premium rooms and top quality. Quiet comfortable and definitely reccommend. Nothing to add
- Louise (10/5): Wonderful stay, would definitely return - The whole property was beautiful, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! Nothing to dislike about this property.
- Aimée (9/5): Superb -
- julianwyatt (10/5): Great service and great food - An immaculate hotel with a really helpful and genuine team who really looked after us. The grounds are beautifully tended with a lovely terrace to sit in the sun. The room looked brand new and was spotlessly clean. The food was fantastic both the Sushi menu and the regular food were excellent, the sommelier picked a perfect bottle of wine at a lower price point than the one we initially chose (which happened to be out of stock that day). Plenty of secure parking and within easy reach of London, Marlow, Henley, Heathrow and Reading. Only slight downside is the road is quite busy but we slept perfectly due to excellent double glazing!
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liz (8/5): It's OK. - It's a nice hotel but a bit soul less. The staff were OK but some just had a poor grasp of English. The restaurant wasn't open when we stayed here so we ate out. Breakfast was great one day and really average the next due to lack of communication from staff member.
- István (9/5): Great place to visit - Service excellent, room immaculate and superb, food great. What else can I say: 5*
