Susan Ferencak-Schoon (10/5): - The breakfast was really tasty and tasted as good as it looked. My bedroom had a lovely balcony where I could sit and enjoy the fresh air and a bit of the sea view. The gardens were beautiful and well-maintained so all around it was a great stay.
Miller (4/5): An unfortunate visit, not to be repeated - The location and access to beach and town is good. Under relativity new management, and although host is very pleasant, there are many snags that need to be attended to as a 4 star establishment.

Jeanne-Marie (9/5): Great place for a big family gathering. - We rented the whole house for my mom's 75th birthday. We were 5 families with kids and the house worked very well. Each room has their own kitchenette with tea and coffee and a small fridge, so everyone had their own private areas and also more than enough spaces to get together and enjoy each other's company. The kitchen is spacious with all the supplies you will need. It was just what we were looking for. There is so much space for kids to explore and the swimming pool was a win! The place was just lovely.

Athenkosi (10/5): it was an awesome stay. - I loved everything about the property, it exceeded all our expectations… every room has a view, Ocean, mountain and the garden view… there are personal touches in every room. gorgeous interior! there is nothing i did not like about the property , however I wish there were more Irons.

Colleen (10/5): Family celebrating Dad's 90th birthday. - The house and facilities were amazing. There was nothing that we needed/wanted that was not supplied. All the tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied was greatly appreciated. Drico and the staff were wonderful. Ages ranged from 90 years old to 1 year old and everyone loved it. We didn't like it when our family weekend was up and we had to leave.
Rebecca (7/5): Would be better in summer time - It has everything you need and more for a big family party in the summer. Close to the beach but you can’t walk into hermanus It’s not great when the weather isn’t as good. All rooms lead to an outdoor space so it’s more like a bed and breakfast than a house. We found it hard to sit together as all entertainment rooms were small apart from the kitchen which was cold. The area which joins the kitchen bedrooms and sitting room is like an outdoor space so you need to put your shoes in if you want to make a late night snack. It was raining also so had to put the umbrella up just to make a cup of tea. I think in the summer it would have been better. Also we didn’t have access to washer dryer and had to wait for maid to come the next day to do the washing for us. But as it was raining we really could have done with them to use as and when. There are 3 separate small sitting areas which have fires but this didn’t heat the rest of the house as the open area through the middle so it was freezing. Felt like the outdoor space could do with modernising a bit . The balcony upstairs was bit worn and rotten. The pictures did make the house look more modern and updated but unfortunately some areas were very tired.

The entire place was great, with great support at all stages, from the check-in, to explaining the load-shedding situation and what the places are around the area!

Verified traveler (6/5): Einfaches Guest House, etwas in die Jahre gekommen - Eigentlich wäre das Guest House sehr schön, allerdings war das Bad recht schmuddelig und teilweise kaputt und das Bett war total durchgelegen. Das Zimmer war zudem sehr klein.
