Il faut savoir que les futons sont très fins, ce qui rend la nuit inconfortable car on sent le sol. Il n’y a également pas de rideau, donc la lumière passe au lever du soleil.

• Álvaro (10/5): Muy recomendable si quieres vivir una experiencia única. - El Ryokan era excelente. Cuando llegamos el pueblo estaba nevado, lo que le dio un aura aún más bonita. Todas las instalaciones limpias y amplias. Tuvimos una habitación con onsen incluído que fue genial pare relajarnos nada más llegar. Además el onsen público fue estupendo también y contaba con una parte que era al aire libre que, a pesar del frío de los días, se estaba muy cómodamente. Sin duda las aguas termales eran de lo mejor. También dispone de opción de cena tradicional que también fue maravillosa y completa, aunque hay que avisar con antelación. El desayuno también completo, no le faltaba de nada. Además nos proporcionaron yukatas muy cómodos y adaptados a nuestra altura.

• ハシ (8/5): 観光地から少し遠いが、とても、ゆっくり出来た - 夕食、朝食共に、料理のボリュームが有り、美味しいです。 Ａ５ランクの飛騨牛が、ついており、 柔らかく旨味もあったので、とても満足出来ました。 朝食バイキングでは、有りませんが、和食にパンや、ハチミツも有りました。名前だけ有名なホテルより、とても満足できる内容です。 アットホームな雰囲気です。 お隣の部屋も、いらっしゃいましたが、音漏れ声漏れも、分かりませんでした。 温泉の質が良く、家内もとても良い肌触りに喜んでいました。 土産物店や、待合室の有る、とても大きいバス乗り場から3分掛からず，とても近い。 ファミリー向けのスキー場も、歩いて行ける。 家族風呂の湯温が、うまく設定出来ていなかった様で、とても熱かった。

• HSIUJOU (8/5): - 旅館氛圍好、接待人員親切，能提供所需要的資訊，榻榻米床很舒服。第二天早餐預備得十分用心、服務周到。 我住的那一間門不好關，走廊瀰漫醬油味，進旅館大門需要換的室內拖size不大，不太適合男士穿。check in時，接待人員忘了告訴我早餐時間是7:30-8:00，第二天早上等我們下去時，已經過了早餐時間，就沒吃到早餐了。

• Andrew (9/5): Historic onsen central location for exploring the high Alps - Greatly enjoyed our stay. Historic onsen, in the same family for 3-4 generations. It feels like the 70s in a good way! Slippers provided at Check in. Large rooms, well provisioned. Excellent natural onsen baths. Delicious kaiseki dinner and breakfast meals, including "famous Hida beef" and many others. It's a great location for exploring up the valley to the Shiratone (? maybe misspelled) Ropeway and other locations in the Alps. It's very good value, there are some more expensive onsens, but we think this one has everything Nothing comes to mind

• LH (9/5): Recommend. - We had half-board and the food served was superb. The room was spacious to fit 5-6pax. We also enjoyed the quiet time spent at the in-house onsen. The interior of the hotel was dated, which you could tell from the colour of the carpet floor around the hotel.

Many steps to go to public bath and restaurant, inconvenient for senior person. Less amenities in room and public bath, not enough. Have to change your shoes at the lobby.

Most of their staffs are of senior age. Good thing is one elderly man can speak English! The onsen room we stayed, its main door is noisy when opening n closing it.

• Junko (9/5): Great Family-Owned Japanese-Style Inn! - 1. The owner and staff were outstanding. Very polite, prompt, caring, and genuine. 2. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, especially the grilled Hida Beef and sashimi made from the rare local fish. Highly recommended. 3. It was easy to find with Google Map and had free parking nearby. 4. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I was prompted by booking.com to pay extra to upgrade to the room with AC. I called the hotel and learned that they had AC in the room without upgrading. For everyone’s awareness and planning purposes: 1. When we arrived at around 2:30 pm, the ryokan was dark and there was no one at the front lobby. They open at 3 pm so I suggest you get there after 3 pm. 2. Onsen itself was great. It’s a natural and constant-flow onsen, no circulating of the water. I believe others have commented this too but some spots may be visible from the nearby buildings.

• Teeny (10/5): Best stay in Japan! :) - The location was excellent! Just beside the bus terminal where we took the bus to Kamikochi, and a great restaurant within 5 min walking distance and a souvenir store which sells sake and snacks just 1 min walk away! This family-run Inn was just the perfect way to end our Japan trip! The owner and staff were warm, hospitable, and friendly and you could tell they all took so much pride in their work - from the way they arranged the slippers for guests, to the way they made your bed, to the way they folded the yukatas they provided for your stay. The room was so spacious and we loved the onsen! We will definitely be back for your lovely hotel and the gorgeous local sake! :) Nothing at all! Loved everything!!! If they provided me with a bolster, that would be my favourite hotel in the world! :)
