• Sylvia (3/5): - Es war unsere schlechteste Unterkunft in Sumatra. Personal ist nicht sehr bemüht um das Wohl der Gäste, die meisten kommen kein Englisch. Wir mussten um 12.00 Uhr auschecken, da aber unser Flug erst am Abend ging mussten wir dort verweilen...es gab nicht wirklich was nettes um es sich dort gemütlich zu machen. Wir sind deshalb eher zum Flughafen..

La chambre était propre et confortable. Le shuttle pour aller à l’aéroport nous a coûté 50K pour 2 pour 15 min de route. Nous avons mangé au restaurant de l hôtel car nous sommes arrivés tard zone avec des moustiques mais avec du spay c’est ok.

La comida del restaurante estaba muy buena. Servicio al aeropuerto por 50.000 rp muy efectivo. Tienen un contacto para laundry, incluso express El desayuno tenia pocas opciones. No había opción a nada dulce como un simple pancake. Habían acuarios con peces tristes dentro. Los peces deberían estar en el mar, porfavor no mas acuarios.

• David (8/5): Good location to the airport. Clean, modern, Western accomoddation - Wanted to stay close to the airport and at a clean Western accommodation, which this was! Depending on your route, getting to the hotel was a little tricky (with questionable roads). The airport shuttle was nice. Everything was fine. There were lines of ants in my room. But to be fair, I've not been in any Indonesian hotel rooms that didn't have insect issues.

• Stasia (8/5): Thankful for an, overall, Good experience 🙂 - A quality accommodation for our needs and staff was extremely polite, helpful and professional. Most of our dinner meal was very tasty. The soursop juice and chocolate milkshake were wonderful! And the shuttle was easily accessible. On our first night, our room seemed very close to a music practicing/ performance area and music and singing took place for much of the evening into the morning.

Le personnel omniprésent et aux petits soins des clients. Les repas, petits déjeuners et dîners. Piètre qualité. D'autant plus que l'hôtel est à plus d'une heure de la ville. Nous avons pris cet hotel une première fois pour sa piscine. La seconde fois, elle est inutilisable et pour de nombreux mois semble t'il. Si vous devez rester 5 jours en stand by comme nous , vous allez trouver le temps long. Pour une nuit, il est parfait.
• Samantha (4/5): Gutes Hotel um kurz zu übernachten - länger aber auch nicht. - Das Hotel ist nicht weit vom Flughafen entfernt, das Personal war sehr herzlich und das Essen war gut. so begeistert wie alle hier in den Bewertungen waren, bin ich jetzt doch nicht. Der Shuttlebus ist nicht mehr gratis, (hatte Verspätung) und der Pool wurde renoviert (war geschlossen) - beides meine Hauptbeweggründe, warum ich dieses Hotel gebucht habe. Dann war das Hotel eher laut. Ja klar, sagt ihr jetzt… ist auch in der Nähe des Flughafens. Stimmt. Aber der Zug hört man, die Nachbar:inne und eine Pumpe wie auch die Karaoke Bar (welche aber bei Zeiten aufhörte). Das Badezimmer hatte einen Schwefelgeruch und ein paar kleine Käfer, die den Raum mit mir teilten (jaja, die hat es noch in so mancher Unterkunft).
• Jessica (6/5): - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und der Weg zum Flughafen ist kurz und mit dem Hotelshuttle gut zu erreichen. Alle zusätzlichen Preise waren transparent. Wir hatten unheimlich viele Mücken im Zimmer, tatsächlich wurden wir in der einen Nacht mehr zerstochen als die drei Nächte zuvor mitten im Dschungel. So war leider nach einer anstrengend Tour nicht an Schlaf zu denken. Das Zimmer war in die Jahre gekommen, wir hatten einen unschönem Fleck auf dem Laken und das Frühstück war nicht besonders gut.

Sinds 15 januari 2026 betaal je 50.000Idr

• Koos1007 (8/5): - Het personeel is vriendelijk, zoals overal in Indonesië in hotels. Het zwembad is prachtig en groot met veel zon en ook schaduwplekken. De kamers zijn ruim, maar sober ingericht, met goede bedden en lekkere douche. Het ontbijt is prima voor slechts 4 euro en ook veel keuze bij lunch en diner...en goedkoop. De straten eromheen zijn erg druk en nodigen niet echt uit voor een lekkere wandeling na de maaltijd, behalve over het spoor rechtsaf. Het Engels van sommig personeel zou beter kunnen als Aiport Hotel zijnde. De kamer was wat sober, niks aan de muren, en de koelkast was uit het kastje gehaald waar het oorspronkelijk in heeft gezeten..maar misschien heeft DeLuxe B nog wel eentje

There’s a buffet breakfast that looked good too, although didn’t have as short of time. Would use again for transiting Medan Airport.

Évacuation chasse d'eau compliqué, la clim avait une odeur vraiment forte de poussière ou autre on a du dormir sans l'utiliser (il serait bien de les nettoyer ou réviser). Nous avions réservé le petit déjeuner sur booking en supplément mais ce n'est pas un buffet comme indiqué. 80000 par personne pour du riz quelques fruits et un thé c'est trop cher, ils nous ont fait payer le jus d'orange en supplément😂. Le restaurant de l'hôtel n'est pas fameux mais tarifs ok. Ne pas se fier aux anciens commentaires sur la navette aéroport, c'est désormais payant à 50000 ( tarif à peu près similaire sur grab). Bref hôtel ok mais quelques points à améliorer.

• Remon (5/5): - Grote kamer Er was een supervelle "emergency light" op de kamer waardoor je niet echt kon slapen. Toen we vroegen of dit uit kon werd er wat gelachen en moeilijk gedaan. Ze zeiden dat dit op elke kamer zo was en normaal was..Uiteindelijk kwam iemand er de lamp uit draaien.

• Jimmy (2/5): Niet voor herhaling vatbaar - Bedden waren lekker Kamer stonk Ontbijt was magertjes voor een te hoge prijs. Oud fruit en een omelet. En bij het uitchecken moesten we bijbetalen omdat er een vlek in een handdoek zat die ze er niet eens geprobeerd hebben om uit te wassen echt belachelijk. De vlek was van een beetje fruit dat was je er zo uit.

Walls very thin between units . Breakfast was just ok , lacked yogurt or cereals or even a fried egg would’ve been nice . No hot water . Shower facilities and toilet were dirty .

Het ontbijt sloot om 09.30, terwijl tegen ons gezegd was dat het tot 10.00 zou zijn. Hierdoor waren we op de restaurant menu kaart aangewezen die voornamelijk bestond uit diner eten, geen ontbijt genomen helaas.

When we booked we sent a message request, without 24hrs notice, for a pickup at the airport by their Airport Shuttle service. They very kindly met us on arrival. What amazing service! We swam in the lovely pool and had a great meal at the poolside served by friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. We were driven back to the airport early the next morning by their shuttle service. Highly recommend Thong's Inn. We will certainly be staying again on a stop overs in Medan. Thank you for such great service from all the staff! Nothing

• Nadreva (10/5): La quatrième étape de mon séjour à Sumatra - Je vis en cet endroit la quatrième et dernière étape de mon voyage à Sumatra, un voyage qui, depuis Casablanca via Kuala Lumpur, Medan, Bukit Lawang et Lac Toba m’a conduit à Kuala Namu. Un voyage longtemps retardé et qui me séduit davantage de jour en jour. Professionnel du tourisme, auteur et éditeur de guides touristiques après avoir depuis 60 ans parcouru le monde et posé mes valises dans plus de 120 pays, pour certains à plusieurs reprises cet hôtel à tout pour me séduire. Situé à quelques minutes de l’aéroport, desservi par une navette gratuite, les chambres sont élégantes et confortables, le parc est magnifique, les jardins fleuris et leurs bassins où se côtoient de superbes poissons aux couleurs vives invitent à la découverte et a une douce relaxation. Le sourire du personnel, le rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel, l’excellent petit déjeuner et dîner, tout en cet établissement vous assure d’une étape inoubliable et mérite votre visite. Quelques beaux arguments pour séduire vos papilles et bien dormir à un prix dont chacun peut rêver, 50 euros… Rien j'ai tout aimé...

• Nicole (7/5): Zweckmäßig für eine Zwischenübernachtung - Die Unterkunft liegt nah zum Flughafen und ist gut für eine Zwischenübernachtung geeignet. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und relativ sauber. Der Pool recht groß. Die Gartenanlage ist auch sehr groß und etwas verrückt gestaltet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend. Wir kamen mit Flugverspätung an und es gab gar keine Möglichkeit weder im Hotel noch in der Umgebung noch etwas zu essen. Bei der Abreise wurden die Zimmer kontrolliert bevor man auschecken durfte. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Uns wollte man dann Blutpflecken im Bett unterstellen. Als wir vehement widersprachen war es wohl eine Verwechslung gewesen, sonst hätten wir dafür zahlen sollen. Das fand ich sehr unangenehm.
• Orla (7/5): - The room was lovely and spacious, and the location and view from the balcony is beautiful. The staff were friendly and the food was pretty good! Lots of nice restaurants around too. There was lovely access to the water but unless you are on the ground floor, there are no seats or anywhere to enjoy the waterfront. One of the access areas is very rundown. There used to be a diving board and rope swings, which would have been a fun addition to the swimming area.
