Guest Reviews
- Taliah (10/5): The stay was amazing!! - It was the perfect mix of privacy and close to town. The cabin is the perfect size and the outdoor area was sensational. Glenda (owner) was so wonderful.
- Grant (10/5): Peaceful relaxing stay with wonderful birdlife -
- Peter (8/5): If this suits your needs book it - Great spot in the countryside, has all the things you need for a self cater stay.
Close to Barrington, Gloucester and Copeland Tops.
Pleasant helpful host All good
- Catherine (10/5): - Loved our 3 night stay in this very comfortable and clean cabin in such a pretty location. We enjoyed sitting outside on the comfy sofa watching the birds and reading about the local gold mining history. The outside fire was nice in the early evening. Peaceful 1km walk along the road to the Copeland SCA and 2 lovely rainforest walks. Glenda was friendly and helpful and has provided lots of thoughtful 'extras'. And so nice we could have our dog with us too.
Thank you Glenda! Nothing - we loved it.
- Velottante (8/5): - Beautiful location, very quiet & comfortable enough for the both of us. Comfortable bed, couch & the kitchen was nicely fitted out for a few days stay Very helpful host, nice Anzac cookies left for us. Wifi works well & made-up for poor phone reception. Water pressure was a bit weak in shower but given the location & use of pumps, to be expected.
- Pei (10/5): Comfortable, private and excellent facilities - Location, easy to find with friendly host
Amenities and facilities for Bruno and his human parents
Great place for bird life, love the variety of bird songs None
- Naomi (10/5): Great location for some peaceful relaxation, with great walks nearby - The location was lovely with great instructions on how to find it. The space had everything. You could need and was cosy. The owner was amazing and clear in all her communication and went above and beyond to help with anything needed.
- Peter (8/5): Home from home - We were immediately at home. All facilities were available. The location was great for outdoor activitoies and close to Gloucester for grocery shopping etc. Good value. Great communication - no too much but just right. na
- Alice (10/5): Great spot, lovely host -
- Conrad (10/5): I would have to say this is the best cabin I remember ever staying in. - This place was so quiet, we couldn't get over it. Just the sounds of the many birds that visited. The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. I could go back time after time to explore the many walks of the area. I can not think of a single thing that is not to like about this property. Everything you could think of asking for is there, plus more.
- Colleen (9/5): The perfect getaway. - The location was in the countryside. Quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the birdlife from the front verandah. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. The host was very helpful and friendly.
- Gennelle (10/5): -
- Philip (10/5): Glenda has gone to great lengths to provide a comfortable, memorable, relaxing stay. - Everything that we needed for a comfortable stay, was provided. Like staying in a comfortable home. The rural setting was exactly what we were looking for. A great place for a digital detox, though if needed, the Starlink internet was there. Nothing
- Annett (10/5): Highly recommended. - A twitcher's paradise. Tranquil, peaceful and private. Fully equipped kitchen. The cabin is very comfortable for two.
Glenda was a great hostess and checked if we had everything we needed, without intruding. The fridge probably needs replacing. It kinda worked, but was running and rattling a lot and was not quite as cool as it should be. I'm sure this will be sorted out promptly, as everything else in the cabin was in excellent condition.
- Deborah (9/5): Highly recommend Copeland Cabins, only 10 kms from Gloucester - but another world away. Lovely host. - Host has put care into providing everything you may need - from insect spray, citronella candles, small barbecue on back verandah, coffee pods, ice cubes (a rarity these days). Air conditioning in living room. I use a walking stick - whilst bathroom was good, was difficult to get up off toilet. Small mirror in bathroom and another even smaller one on (lovely old) hallstand - would have been nice to have bigger mirror. Also was surprised when no shampoo - first time have stayed anywhere where none was provided - maybe amend listing to point this out. No mobile phone reception was a bit of a problem.
- Zara (10/5): absolutely beautiful place, absolutely loved our stay, comfortable and cute cabin with a lovely location -
- Brian (10/5): -
- Erica (9/5): - The cabin was perfectly spacious but cozy. Everything in the cabin was thoughtfully added so that we had enough but not cluttered. Such a beautiful location and we could hear the rain, birds and farm animals. The only critique we had was that the bed was quite firm, but otherwise the bedding was very comfortable!
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Rikki (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at this cozy farm cabin. The space was clean, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful valley views. We loved waking up to the sounds of the farm and enjoying coffee on the porch, and having a small barbecue along with a fire at night. The hosts were welcoming and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect peaceful getaway. There truly wasn’t anything we would’ve changed; everything about our stay was enjoyable
- Bhageerathy (10/5): - Peaceful Cleaniness
- Rebecca (10/5): Glenda was the perfect host. Great property, would return again. Many thanks - Comfortable and well located for walks.
- Adrian (9/5): Great stay, the cabin is peaceful and has everything. The wi-fi works and Glenda is proactive - Glenda was very communicative and kind. Nothing
- jennifer (10/5): - Everything. Lovely outdoor covered patio area with fireplace. Quiet. Lovely view. Nothing
- Bianca (10/5): Extremely quiet, amazing way to escape the world with no service! - Keys were in a lock box next to the door
- Peter (8/5): Convenient and comfortable home away from home. - We had a very pleasant stay in The Dairy while working at a nearby conservation area. Glenda is a fabulous host.
- Russ (10/5): Exceptional - Great place go back anytime
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - We had a most enjoyable 2 day stay in the Dairy cottage in mid May The cottage was warm and comfortable and in a beautiful garden setting surrounded by hills. The cottage wad equipped with everything one would reasonably need. Our hostess Glenda provided excellent communication including detailed directions to the property. ¹ Nothing.
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (9/5): This cabin was more than adequate for our stay, comfortable, and the host was great. - Location was great because it was central to our hiking locations and the house amenities were good. There was ample room in the cabin with a good-sized bathroom. Kitchenette was sufficient and microwave over was ok for heating up small items. Bed was okay and host was very helpful. Whilst there was an outdoor BBQ there (which would be great for summer), we would have loved to have had a basic stove or similar to do bacon and eggs for breakfast or warming up a large pasta dish or similar for dinner. Not a deal-breaker, just a suggestion.
- Nathan (9/5): Superb - Very good for the money. Would def stay again!. The internet was really good. Gee… there really needs to be a door stop to stop the door knob slamming into the wall. The door kinda swings into the wall if you don’t hold it, perhaps because if you’ve got your hands full of stuff from shops or something. I’m surprised no one has put it rhrough the wall already. Maybe this is a random thought.. but anyways.
- Joanne (10/5): Peaceful stay in Copeland - It was a lovely stay. Glenda is a great host. She has thought of everything you would need for a farm stay. The bed was really comfortable.
- Nardia (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Beautiful setting in the trees &such a variety of birds We loved everything.
- Kathleen (10/5): It was a wonderful 3 days I cannot wait to return there - Glenda the host was one amazing woman so friendly and there was everything that you would need in the Bunk Cabin Nothing
- Earls (10/5): Peaceful, cosy and delightful. - We enjoyed a very special Christmas at the Bunk House. A perfect getaway for two. Every cosy comfort. Peaceful location as easy drive to The Tops and Gloucester. Best of all Glenda, who is a delightful and thoughtful host. There was nothing we didn't like. Honestly.
- Kechagias (10/5): Love staying here host was super friendly and very helpful. Definitely come back. - Beautiful quiet surroundings. Connect with nature. Everything was great
- Sumanp (10/5): Perfect calm and quiet family stay with easy access to nature - Perfect location and facilities for our famly trip to the area. Great host with frequent communication and useful updates to help with getting to the location. Known limitation with mobile coverage, but addition of wi-fi access was a great bonus during the stay. Would definitely be back when we pass through next time. Nothin to report here. Was perfect for our expectation for the nature stay.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious, beautiful location, great host and facilities. Nothing
- Natarla (9/5): Superb - This little cabin had everything you need and was so comfortable. The location was great and Glenda was amazing. So helpful and thought of everything!

- Marilyn (8/5): very relaxing quite time good place to recover from my previous fall before arriving at the cabins - very quiet and comfortable close to town no phone reception - meant we had no annoying calls for our two nights there would have been nice to have somewhere to hang our clothes otherwise all okay
- Ken (10/5): Exceptional -
- Josie (10/5): Such a comfortable cabin, great to unwind and disconnect from busy world and enjoy nature - So much amazing wildlife and beautiful scenery Not much didn’t like, maybe just fenced back yard to contain pet, however it wasn’t a big issue. The only thing that the property didnt have was an internet connection, but a very short walk to the owner's property and my phone worked fine for receiving and sending messages and accessing the internet.Glenda said that they were working on getting that problem fixed.
- Melanie (9/5): Superb -

- Phoebe (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place to stay, relax, and unwind. We weren't expecting the WOW factor when we walked in as the photos did not do the cabin justice. It was the perfect size for a couple, clean and fresh. The bed was really comfortable. The hostess was friendly and helpful. Nothing was a bother. The location was perfect to get away. Thank you, Copelands Cabins, we will be back. The road to Gloucester was appalling.
