- Stephen (9/5): Quite satisfied and good value. - This is a nice, small, family style hotel right in the middle of the old town of Songkhla. The owner was quite friendly, receptive and helpful. The hotel is clean, comfortable and good value. We were happy with our experience there and would definitely come back to stay here the next time we come to Songkhla, which is an interesting town. The breakfast is home made and tastes good, but the selection is limited and didn't seem to change over time.

- Juliet (10/5): Beautiful hotel in Songkhla old town. - Beautiful hotel with eclectic display of art and items collected by Danni , the engaging and hands-on owner. Songkhla is lovely and you are in the hub of the old town, breakfast in the garden, water and fridge in the room. Nothing.
- Ekaputra (10/5): Lovely place for a couple, situated in the middle of Songkhla Old Town. - Beautiful little boutique hotel situated at a fantastic location, run by a very warm and kind host. The included breakfast was also delicious.

Abit cold while showering with the aircond 😂

- Daniela (10/5): The accomodation is perfectly located to explore the old town and beaches of Songkhla - It was a warm welcome and all was very clean and lovingly decorated! The breakfast was excellent, yammi! I had troubles to order a bolt or grab taxi to pic me up from the accomodation. Anyway, my lovely host helped me out on this topic, thank you again!

- Anita (10/5): Wonderful stay in hotel with character - Warm welcome by our host, uniquely decorated and spacious room, perfect location in the old town and delicious local breakfast in the cozy garden. We could not have wanted more and would come back anytime!
- Paul (9/5): great - excellent
- Chom (10/5): Love the place. It feels like staying at a good friend’s home, rather than a hotel. Highly recommend - It is a friendly, quaint boutique hotel conveniently located in the heart of the old town of Songkla. The owner was hospitable and went above and beyond to welcome us. It is a bit noisy because it is located in the street and there is a pizza place next to it. But I stayed here before so I was prepared and brought earplugs with me

- Kenneth (10/5): Perfect stay, perfect location & perfect host - A fabulous place to stay right in the heart of heritage Songkhla. Lovely large room in a wonderful building restored to be a gem by our host.
The town is great to wander through, whilst enjoying the eclectic buildings, great food and friendly people (and in that I must include our host - a lovely guy and so helpful too)
- Myro (8/5): Very good - Clean room with very comfortable bed & quality sheets. The shower is my favorite:)Me & the wife love this spot whenever we visit Songkhla. Has a rustic & comfortable vibe.
- Shootcmu (8/5): Excellent location at the heart of Songkhla old town - Feel like family boutique hotel with rich culture and historic atmosphere. Tasty and genuine local breakfast. Superb location - 2 minutes walking to anywhere in Songkhla old town. The hosts are generous and very helpful. Cleanliness can be improved. The building and some facility looks a bit old and needs renovation. Noisy from other rooms can be heard.
- Jhong (8/5): Very good - Decoration Sound from upstairs and mosquito
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Great property and service None
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional - Place is like a little museum displaying many things from the past. If you like minimalist designs, this is not your place, but we felt like staying at Baan Nai Nakhon made our Songkhla stay more special. The owner accommodated for our vegan diet and we had yummy rice soup for breakfast.
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dr (8/5): Travel back in time to traditional Songkhla - when traders and spice road merchants ran the old town - Cute quirky family run little hotel. Very comfortable experience in the heart of the old town. Breakfast was traditional (but a little small for a big day of sightseeing!). Room size good, but FULL of furniture making it hard to move around! Limited space to put opened luggage.
- Yusman (10/5): A warm and welcoming owner. Highly reccomended place - The location, host and cleanliness. None
- Ali (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): This is where u want to stay if you are traveling to Songkhla - The staff made the entire stay amazing That I was not able to stay longer because of my schedule.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Draji (9/5): Excellent stay with adjacent attractions within walking distance. - Very close to Songhkla Old Town and its attractions. Homemade decorations and design with personal touch. Difficult to park if traveling by car. Wooden stairs only available. One of the bathroom is a bit small.
- Ming (10/5): Exceptional - Stylish, very clean room and every details of this hotel was been take care of.
It's at the heart of the old town, walking distance to those beautiful coffee shop, temples, mosque and wat. Recommend for those who want to experience the unique infusion culture of Songkhla.
- Suzanne (6/5): Pleasant -
- Myro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Lovely stay with a professional host in a charming part of town. - The breakfast - roti and chicken curry - was very tasty. And it was a pleasure to sit and have breakfast in the same courtyard garden.
- Mark (8/5): Old Town - Three nights in a very unique & quirky B&B. I took a lot of photos of the entire house as the owner has filled it with many antiquities of great variety; every time you look again you see something different. A nice equally custom decorated courtyard is off the kitchen for breakfast. The cook served up the most amazing curry chicken & roti although the owner took the credit. Personally I don’t care who cooked it as it was the most delicious breakfast I had in three months traveling through Vietnam & Thailand. The room was equally custom decorated and unique. It was a comfortable sleep with little or no noise when it was time to sleep. My only negative feedback is communication could have been better when I checked in. There were several issues that weren’t obvious and I wasn’t happy I had to chase the owner for answers. Communication is a common courtesy and a big part of customer service. I thought it odd and inconsiderate I wasn’t offered milk & sugar with my coffee. Once again common courtesy to ask your guests. The room needed a thorough cleaning; it was nowhere near satisfactory for guests. This was stay number 20 of my three months travel; Number 1 breakfast. Top 3 most unique stay of all time; beyond the other 19 hotels/resorts. The Old Town was great to walk around and this hotel is right in the middle; shops & restaurants everywhere. At the end of the day I’m glad I experienced this stay. It’s definitely worth checking out.
- Christian (9/5): Very nice hotel with great host in the middle of Sonkla - Very nice host - helped a lot and was always available. Unique colorful rooms and great location in the middle of town with restaurants and cafes nearby so can walk everywhere
- Justin (8/5): Very good - rooms are thoughtfully designed, and spacious. reading lights are provided, which are so frequently overlooked. host is sabai jai. the vibes exceed expectations. parking can be potentially problematic as streets are one way and chaotic on weekends.. shower was tricky to regulate, only a light curtain to separate sleeping area from bathroom and hong nam.. more protein at breakfast would have been greatly appreciated.
- Rayaway (7/5): Good -
- Mariko (10/5): Home to appreciate the art and culture of Songkhla - Convenient location for walking distance to eating place etc. We appreciated every corner of the house was so artisticly presented. The breakfast was served in the garden, and it was so tasty. The owner was very friendly and showed his care for us. Generally, in Thailand, the shower room tiles are slippery, including in this house. The toilet in our room does not have a door but a curtain. I like it from an aesthetic point of view, but it is practically not convenient.
- Joerg (10/5): Lovely decorated little oasis in an old town mansion in the very heart of Songkhla - Lovely decorated little oasis in an old town mansion in the very heart of Songkhla. Owner helped to hire reliable transport to the out of town sights (ruins of ancient Singora sultanate) and onward to Trang.
- Jo (9/5): Most enjoyable stay in this charming hotel. Delicious breakfast served in the lovely courtyard. It’s not luxurious but i - This is a beautifully decorated house - quirky decorative arts all around and a really cute courtyard You can hear the people in the room above very clearly
- Ma (10/5): My stay was so appealing I extended it by two days. - I adored staying at Danai's place! It was a warm, friendly, and artsy environment where I always felt comfortable whenever I returned, really like home or a small inn. I can't say enough about how helpful and kind Danai was with local information and practical advice. His place was perfectly situated in charming Old Town, Songkla. I liked everything. (Though I slept very well, some people might be bothered by the street light coming through the curtains.)
- Pooklook (9/5): Superb -
- Peng (7/5): Good location for exploring Sonkghla - In the central of Songkhla, the hotel is on the main street, you may explore the town by walking easily, lots of shops and small eating stall around the area the host helped us to make the local phone call for car rental, the building is well decorated with lots of characters. You have to take off the shoes to go to the rooms upstairs which is quite troublesome, also no window in bathroom and the drainage in the old building is easily blocked, bathroom especially shower area needs a good clean as the wall and the floor feel greasy. The blanket is quite heavy for Thailand's weather condition.
- Thitimar (10/5): Excellent 🤩 - Everything! Great location, beautiful building and garden, great service, esp. breakfast from the owner. Love all. None.
- Gulten (10/5): Beautiful hotel middle in the Oldtown, every corner nice cafes, local foods or pizzas you can have everything. Try the S - We loved how tasteful the hotel is decorated, it is like you live in a museum. Danny is a very kind host and also very helpful. We loved to have our roti in the unique garden. Try the hot Thai tea ( Chaa Thai Ron) from the friendly lady in the kitchen, so yummy. The room has a refrigerator, kettle and even a hairdryer. The windows have mosquito nets which is great , we slept with open windows and enjoyed the breeze from the lake. Nothing to complain
- Antiga (9/5): Very enjoyable. - Very impressed with the period charm of the prperty and the decor. The location in the old town is excellent. Mr Danai, the owner is very helpful and friendly. I will be happy to revisit this place again. Can't think of anything.
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (9/5): Comfortable, clean and good location - Location and helpful staff One mosquito!
- Shaharizad (8/5): Very good - The ambience, rustic, lay back, quiet.... feeling like home Some mosquitoes..
- Lakkana (10/5): Exceptional -
(8/5): Very good -
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
(10/5): Exceptional -
- Ingo (5/5): Passable - The staff was very nice and provided very helpful information to explore the place. They deserve a 10. The atmosphere in the place is very pleasant. However... The place was full of mosquitos also in my room and the breakfast area was a breading place for them. In 2023 this is for me a no go for any hotel. If you don't care about mosquitos please enjoy the place.
- Naila (10/5): Exceptional -
- Apinya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (7/5): Very interesting & different definitely an experience. - Reminded me of my grandmother's house. It's very different almost like a museum, owner was very welcoming and helpful , right in the middle of the old town.I can see it being appealing to some people. Room was very dark, bed was hard & uncomfortable. We had stayed in another hotel nearby 2 nights before and slept very well there.
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - We returned after 5 years and loved the ambience and the garden breakfasts. Everyone is so helpful and kind at Baan Nai Nakorn.
- Anocha (8/5): Very good -
- Siew (10/5): Too short! - Great location in the historic center of old town
within walking distance to shops, eating places and places of interest such as temples. Hotel oozes with atmosphere with owner’s eclectic collection of antiques and knick knacks. Nothing to dislike!

- Hareesh (9/5): Superb - so artistic and beautiful property. vintage and authentic .
- Brian (9/5): Superb - Breakfast adequate and tasty, location in old town, interesting, owner friendly and helpful Multiple rooms on same bookings should be of similar standard
- Steven (10/5): Charming guest house perfectly located. - Right in the middle of the Old City of Songkhla. You can walk everywhere. Khun Denny is a delightful host. He knows this city and the people int he community. I liked the place so much that this is my second stay. There is a breakfast in the beautifully designed garden with a fountain. Everything is done with panache.
- Thelma (10/5): Special. Unusual. Exceptional. - Even from the street you could tell this was going to be very special. Most welcoming host with remarkable artistic flair. Brilliant location, easy to explore the Old Town by foot. Best authentic breakfast, served in a magical secret garden. Unusual, beautifully decorated, you cannot stop looking around. Spacious bedroom, with AC. Don't hesitate, book this one! Everything is top notch.
- Hannahjy (9/5): charming and welcoming. - it was so pretty! the garden is amazing. the effort and pride in its conceptualisation and design is impeccable. some parts were a bit small and cramped, but I suppose that’s the nature of the traditional shop houses.
- Karinsme (9/5): Wonderful, unique hotel in an old house in the old part of Songkhla - Danai, the owner, is a great host and very helpful. He has created a very special and unique place to stay in an old building that he has renovated. The location is wonderful just in the middle of the old town, so walking distance to many of the sights.
The room was spacious, beautiful and comfortable.
Breakfast, a very good one, was included and is served in the beautiful garden.
It was simply a joy to spend two nights here.
Thank you Danai! We hope to be back soon.
- Sascha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lorraine (8/5): wonderful home in beautiful city - beautiful house. amazing little garden for breakfast in the heart of old city
- Francine (7/5): Good - Very helpful manager.
Nice Thai breakfast, but a bit small.
Beautiful old floors. The room lacks a writing table and ledges to put stuff.
Wardrobe has a damp smell.
Mosquitoes in some areas.
Overpriced.
- Friedrich (8/5): Very good -
- Bundit (8/5): Very good -
- Travelnook (9/5): Strategic location, impressive design, friendly owner and staff. - The location is strategic and artistic design of this property is spectacular. The owner and staff of the hotel are helpful and friendly, BF is great with fresh fruits and slection of local dishes. I would recommend the place if you plan to spend time waking around Songkhla old town, you will have a chace to explore the area and see lifestyle of locals particularly of Thai-Chinese community in the area. There are lots of restuarants from fancy cafes to authentic local food. Nothing much actually, would be great if there is a fan inside the room for those guests who dont' like the air-con :)
- Neil (8/5): Very good - Very good host willing to accomodate my individual needs Nothing to dislike

- Agnes (8/5): Lovely quirky hotel in old town - in the middle of Old Town, decorated with a mix of quirky timeworn furniture and ceramics, and handmade mosaics by the laid-back & multi-lingual owner Danny, that used to fly for Thai Air. Breakfast starts at 730 in his garden cafe with heart and flower shaped fruits, and the main can be a dish of amazing roti. Just a perfect hotel to explore Songkhla old town. Wifi was not stable. Not the hotel’s issue but I attracted mosquitoes even in December
- Jeff (8/5): nice place, friendly and helpful owner would stay there again - very relaxing maybe a few more choices for breakfast
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pete (9/5): Quirky and quaint. Amazing breakfast - Quirky and quaint. The breakfast Roti and curry was to die for. The host was very nice. You can hear other guests walking about / talking etc but I wasn’t bothered by this
