- Marc (7/5): Mejorable - El alojamiento tiene un bonita piscina y el jardín interior es bonito. Willy es muy amable. Me organizaron la recogida con Yusuf en Semarang y visitamos los dos templos con el y fue muy bien. La verdad que Yusuf tiene verdadera pasión por su trabajo. La habitación estaba bien. Era grande y estaba limpia. Cenamos en el hotel y estaba bueno pero no elegimos los platos, es el menú que ellos te sacan. Lo mismo que el desayuno. Todo lo que no sea la reserva de la habitación que es económica, tiene un alto % respecto al precio de mercado (cena, transfer, desayuno) por eso me voy con un sabor agridulce. En la habitación los enchufes estaban sueltos. Podría mejorar lo cojines de la cama. La ubicación no es buena. No quiso darme el whasap del transfer, solo quería que me hablará con él.

- jens (10/5): Ada Waktu is een plek waar we echt zorgeloos hebben kunnen genieten van onze vakantie. - De ontvangst is heel persoonlijk en attent. We voelden ons direct thuis in de ruime, netjes ingerichte en onderhouden kamer. Willy en Arie hebben de mooie homestay met veel liefde gebouwd. Ze behandelen het personeel respectvol en steunen locale initiatieven. Ada Waktu is goed gelegen tussen enkele interessante bezienswaardigheden. Afhankelijk van de afstand goed bereikbaar per fiets, chauffeur of externe taxi-dienst. Dat we hier niet voor altijd kunnen blijven...
- Hans (10/5): Gastvrij verblijf in comfortabele accomodatie op het platteland dicht bij de stad. - Mooie ruime accomodatie op rustige plek op het land net buiten de stad., goed ontvangen door gastheer Arie. Wij hadden de Merapi-kamer en konden vanaf het balkon de contouren van de vulkaan zien. Fijn en gezellig zwembad in het hart van de locatie. Maaltijden waren prima. Op 2 minuten lopen ook een originele Warung met heerlijke Soto Ajam voor een beperkt bedrag.We konden fietsen lenen en hebben een rondje gefietst naar het ‘graf van de prinses’, met behulp van een kaartje en uitgebreide uitleg van Willy.Leuk om in het Vlaams met elkaar te kunnen communiceren! Goede start van het nieuwe jaar! Het ligt wat buiten de stad, maar dat is juist prettig als je kiest voor rust.

The breakfast is fantastic, and dinner is like dining with an Indonesian family—super authentic. Willy helped plan our four-day stay, allowing us to explore Yogyakarta like a true local. Everything is beautiful: the room, the pool, and the surrounding nature, perfect for escaping the bustle of the city. Bicycles are available, and the driver and staff are friendly. The icing on the cake was a delicious cooking workshop from Arie. In short, Ada Waktu is the recipe for a perfect holiday! Highly recommended! Absolutely nothing!

Owner pleasant to chat with and organised his nephew to be our all day driver at a good rate and also helped plan our long day so we dont miss out on all the places we wanted to go to. He knew we where short for time so he made our breakfasts takeaway so we didn't miss out on the included breakfast. Recommend highly 👌 Nothing to dislike

Everything is thoughtfully arranged, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere – perfect after a day of exploring Jogja. The beds are cozy, the bathrooms are clean, and all basic amenities are provided. What really makes this place special is the host’s hospitality. They are incredibly helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with local tips, transport, and recommendations for food and attractions. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like staying with family. The location is also great – quiet and relaxing, yet close enough to major attractions, cafes, and cultural spots. - van den Brink (10/5): Fantastisch!!! - Een fantastische ervaring! Arie en Willy zijn ongelooflijk warme en gastvrije gastheren die er alles aan doen om je verblijf perfect te maken. We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten – elke maaltijd was met zorg en liefde bereid. Daarnaast hadden we het geluk om gebruik te maken van een privéchauffeur, Ari, die echt geweldig is: betrouwbaar, vriendelijk en zeer goed op de hoogte van Yogyakarta en omgeving. Dankzij hem hebben we veel mooie plekken kunnen zien zonder stress. De sfeer in de homestay is rustig, persoonlijk en voelt echt als thuiskomen. Absoluut een aanrader voor iedereen die Yogyakarta bezoekt. Helemaal niks.

- M (10/5): Gastvrije mooie plek! - Gastvrijheid en de rust. Heerlijk zwembad en super kookcursus! Als.je naar de stad wilt is het best ver rijden. Tussen de 30 en 40 minuten. Met Grab of Gojek prima te doen.

De eigenaren hebben aandacht voor je en regelen excursies voor je op maat als je dat wilt. Geven goed advies.

- AURIA (10/5): - Hôtel au calme avec des hôtes d'une grande gentillesse. Ari vous régalera de ses plats et Willy vous aidera à organiser vos excursions. Il a toujours de bonnes idées. Le centre ville est facilement accessible avec Grab. Nous avons vraiment apprécié la tranquillité du lieu par rapport à l'agitation du centre ville. La piscine est un grand plus pour se rafraîchir après les excursions.

Es liegt außerhalb von Jogja für uns war es aber kein Problem, da wir zwei Motorbikes im Ada Waktu gemistet haben , und deswegen sehr flexibel waren

- Rebecca (10/5): Es war ein rundum toller Aufenthalt - Die Unterkunft ist super schön angelegt mit vielen Details rund um den Pool. Das Abendessen war hervorragend und das Frühstück lecker. Es wurde zeitlich flexibel serviert und man saß wunderschön. Die Gastgeber Ari und sein Freund stehen bei allen Fragen bereit und organisieren ggf. auch Ausflüge. Es liegt zwar etwas außerhalb, aber mit dem Grabtaxi kommt man gut überall hin. Wir empfehlen mindestens 3 Nächte und die Tempel zu besuchen sowie eine Jeeptour zum Mount Merapi. Nichts, eventuell dickere Decken für die europäischen Gewohnheiten :-)

It has a great pool in the middle of the area. The staff was very helpful. Mas Arie (The owner) was a very nice person. The location was quite good, it's easy to find local food along the street near to the HomeStay. Over all is a good experience to stay here. I only got one suggestion about the pressure of the water in the bathroom, it needs to be increased a bit😊

They were really helpful in suggesting how to organize our visits. The food was very good, the swimming pool is beautiful and available h24, the room was spacious. Services are a bit expensive as compared to other places, and so are the rooms. The bathroom was quite small and not very clean. Though it was nice to stay in a quiet place, the position is not very good: no chance to walk and too far away from the city center and the sites of interest. It would be nice to add some more pillow on the bed.

We stayed 2 nights in a family room because it was the only room left and it was huge, very clean, with a balcony overlooking rice fields. Shower and AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was simple but delicious (fruit juice, fresh fruit, cheese/egg & tomato toastie, tea). Filtered water was available to refill bottles. The owner and his Belgian friend helped us book tickets online for Borobodur & Prambanam, and also secured a driver. We were able to visit Prambanam before lunch, Borobodur after lunch, and also the two smaller Buddhist temples Pawon and Mendut. The hotel owner also booked a car to take us to the airport. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, superb service, including getting up early to give us breakfast. Would definitely stay again and stay for longer, this would be a nice place to unwind by the pool. Our stay was perfect, apart from lack of communication about who should be paid for the car & driver. If you hire a car & driver make sure you ask who to pay. Also, the location is quite far from the city centre, restaurants and bars, we didn't mind that but some people might. And unfortunately in Java you're never far enough away from a mosque not to hear the early morning call to prayer.

The staff was the loveliest and has helped us organize the trip and enjoy the homestay. Do enjoy the pool and the home-cooked food they offer!

Also, it is a very nice quite place so if you are looking for this the right place! Breakfast is great, surprise every morning and lots of variety. Possibility to have dinner, really delicious! The room itself was sufficient but could use some renovation (eg bath room, interior)

- Lena (10/5): Beautiful Oasis at Jogja - Ada Waktu is a little Oasis with a beautiful garden, nice sitting areas to relax and a lot of lovely details. It is sourrounded by ricefields, but there are still a lot of options to have food or a coffee with a beautiful view close by. The room was spaceous, clean and quiet. The service was exceptional and always super friendly. We enjoyed our stay there a lot and would totally recommend it!

The amazing swimming pool is surrounded by a well maintained and gorgeous garden. Hands down one of the best places I have ever stayed in! The hosts helped us with the planning of the rest of our trip. They are true experts and hooked us up with drivers and accommodations for the rest of our stay in Indonesia without additional charge, but just because they wanted to help make our stay in this beautiful country as memorable as possible! We arrived with jet lagged child - Incredibly warm welcome, comfortable and spacious rooms with a gorgeous garden and pool area which felt like a calm and serene oasis to retreat back to in between exploring.

- Juliana (10/5): Definitely book a few days or even a week at Adu Waktu!! - We were very pleased and happy to stay here! Felt very blessed to find Adu Waktu, especially because of the staff and very personal attention and help for planning excursions! The guided driving by Willy and Ari and the all day visits to the various temples and to the tea plantation and Yogyakarta city market center area were the highlights! The breakfast was yummy with lots of fruit and teas and coffees and omelets and green pancakes! We are dinner there every night and it was traditional and delicious! The pool and courtyard is absolutely gorgeous and very much an oasis in the busy metropolitan outskirts! We both will miss it and especially Willy and Ari! All is well 👏👍🏼👏
- Irene (10/5): beautiful traditional Indonesian decor and surroundings. - I stayed 2 nights. First breakfast was "American", second breakfast was local. Both were very good. I had one dinner: excellent. 3 courses! The pool, quiet location. The help with everything. The owner wasn't there when I stayed here. Very thoughtful: he made a personal phonecall to inform if everything was alright! Super! wifi in the room was not 'steady'. In the pool- and restaurantarea it was ok.

- Sian (9/5): Blissful! Like being on a well-being retreat!! - So blissful, we enjoyed a very special and restorative stay here. The pool and gardens provide an oasis of beauty for relaxation. The breakfasts and evening meals were different each day and absolutely gorgeous- so nutritious and delicious! Our room was spacious, clean and quiet with a lovely outside sitting area. The staff were all so lovely and helpful, and took us on a wonderful cycle tour of their village which was very special indeed. They also helped us think through an itinerary for a day trip and we chose a selection of temples to see, including Prambanan. Their driver was excellent. Needed to pay by cash as they are waiting for a card machine to be installed.

- Benjamin (10/5): Don't hesitate to book, go for it. - Very friendly and smiling staff, always available for advice and conversation. The breakfast was delicious, as was the evening meal! A real delight to discover local dishes prepared by the host. The only "negative" point is that the wifi does not offer a very fast connection. Which is a blessing to be able to disconnect and really enjoy the establishment.
