• Keith (9/5): Very comfortable house with all facilities. - Very spacious living area with fully equipped kitchen and large table. Very comfortable king size bed in main bedroom. East drive to Gloucester in a few minutes. Nothing.

• Vutu66 (1/5): Bad - Beds were clean and comfortable. I had a very unpleasant experience at this property. First of all, there was no gas in the BBQ, making it completely unusable, which was one of the main reasons we booked this place. The toilet lock was broken, compromising our privacy, and there were only two tissues provided for the entire stay – incredibly unprepared. The swimming pool was dirty and clearly not maintained properly. On top of all that, the host was very accusatory, controlling, and unkind. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable or welcoming stay.

• Louise (10/5): Highly recommended - The house has a beautiful open plan kitchen and living area that lends itself to comfort, relaxation and family time. This opens on to an outside entertaining area overlooking the pool and garden - superb! The bathroom and kitchen are modern, with every amenity needed for our stay. The bedroom was quiet and the bed wonderfully comfortable. The location is brilliant for accessing some of the most beautiful scenery and walks. The host, Trudy, is so accommodating and communication is prompt and excellent.

• Louise (9/5): Beautiful family home, close to amazing scenery and town amenities. - The property was a lovely family home in beautiful, private grounds. The house was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and had every amenity necessary for self catering. The bed was very comfortable, as was the lounge and the pool was an added bonus. There was nothing not to like!

• Alicia (10/5): Exceptional - I had an incredible stay at this holiday house! The privacy and peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Waking up to stunning views of the mountains every morning was truly a treat. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, providing restful sleep each night. After a long, hot day, the pool was an absolute highlight—so refreshing and relaxing. This house truly offered a serene and rejuvenating experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway! If you are with Optus mobile( not sure about other mobile services) there is no phone signal, however the free wi-fi provided, helped us keep in touch with friends and family.

• Sean (10/5): - This is the second time we've stayed at this property and it is simply amazing! Located in the rural town of Barrington it is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting. With three bedrooms, two toilets and a large open plan living / kitchen area the house is ample for a family or two or three couples. The house is equipped with the basics like oils, sauces, dishwashing tablets as well as books, DVD's and games. With a crystal clear pool and over an acre of mowed lawn it's the perfect getaway only two hours from Newcastle.

• Kate (9/5): Superb - Great location. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in the house and exploring the surrounding areas. We hope to return! Thank you! For a longer stay, access to a washing machine/laundry would be great, especially if using the pool and wanting to wash the swimwear after use. No phone reception meant we didn’t get the pin code for the lockbox until we drove away from the house down the road. The PIN code could have been sent earlier instead of after arrival time. The flooring is very cold. A few floor rugs would absorb some of the chill. For some reason I was expecting board games but couldn’t locate any. They would make a great addition to a lovely family stay.

• Bernie (8/5): We love the situation and facilities of the house, and the whole region, and will come again. - The attraction to the place is seclusion with some simple but essential appointments (great kitchen/BBQ, huge living space, excellent heating and cooling). The property surrounds were very beautiful and pool in great order. Everything worked. It is a little dated but everything was lovely and clean. And it all worked. Using the house wifi is essential, but we found it worked fine.
