Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (2/5): you will never find it - I booked this hotel for 4 days, never found the hotel, they never give you notification how exactly where to find their location. We asked people about this hotel never heard of it. people Do not book this hotel or you'll end up without a hotel, especially if you are arriving at night.
- Jeannette (8/5): Perfect Hotel for a Rome trip - Very clean, very very friendly and professional staff
Thanks to Fere for this really nice and warm welcome and the perfect service of all our needs.
We recommend this Hotel for everyone!
The Room was clean, modern and we had aircondition, goodies, towels and a bottle of water on the room - the staff told us everything to know about rome and gave us very good tips, we could leave the baggage after check-out in the hotel and get a different key, so we could get it everytime we want to.
We loved our stay and will stay in this hotel the next time we visit rome
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Maikol Family Guesthouse was taken over by Magic Inn. We have paid for 16 nights in a room and they put us in a small apartment nearby. It was a great deal if only the air-conditioner worked...BTW, there was no safety deposit box in the apartment.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel for the price - The hotel is within walking distance of the main station and the colloseum which was perfect. The rooms was big and modern. The staff were also very helpful and allowed us the leave our luggage there on the last day. Overall great experience
- Peter (8/5): Nice and clean; accessible to everything - Stayed here for two nights for touring the city. We were physically in the room very little but when we were there, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room very pleasant and clean. Within five minute walk of the main train station but was difficult to find due to poor signage. Location was great and easy to access the metro, buses and restaurants / cafes. Would recommend for a short visit!
- Katarina (6/5): cheap with just the basics - I stayed at Maikol for 2 nights. It's a cluster of several separate establishments around Piazza Vitorio Emanuelle II near Roma Termini. It has the basic amenities, although the wi-fi connection was most of the time poor. One of the clerks doesn't speak any English,so misunderstandings are to be expected. In general, not bad to spend a night on a budget.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Veldig sentralt beliggende lite hotel. Bra å bo!
- Katarina (6/5): not bad for a night or two - just basic amenities but friendly staff, one of which doesn't speak English.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - El hotel está muy bien y muy céntrico. Cerca de la estación de Termini
- Cosmin (10/5): The perfect city break! - Everything was perfect, the triple room was big and tidy, the staff was friendly, the location excelent. Next to the hotel there were two cheap restaurants where you can eat well. Thanks, Noel!
- Barry (6/5): Great place to stay for a few days. - Excellent location to stay and travel around. Get a room at the back of the hotel. The front is very noisy.
- Robert (2/5): Unfriendly and bare hotel - I hated it. Dry unfriendly staff. Wifi was out most of the time. Absolutely no guest friendly amenities. No reading lamp soap shampoo end table was something turned on its side with a hole for cables in the top covered by a candle. No open sockets to charge phone. One of the useless little lamps didn't work. Shower drain was clogged. Just generally couldn't care less about the guest.
- satish kumar (10/5): Excellent place to stay within budget. - Very friendly staff...Close to the termini station. Low cost. Very clean.
- Julio (10/5): Convenient, clean and close to Termini hotel. - This hotel is located very conveniently close to public transportation. Termini is just a few blocks away from the hotel. This is not the most luxurious place to state in Rome, yet is quite inexpensive and the quality of the service as well as the condition of the room is great. It is a very safe place as one has to go through multiple layers of doors in order to get to the rooms. I really liked this place.
- Francesco (4/5): Shared room not like photo..bad wi-fji - Very disappointed.. It's a shared room, but not very organized. I was not given a towel. You don't get a key unless you plan to stay out "late" where you can ask for one. So it's unplanned.. You're screwed and you be stuck outside. There's not 24 hour staff, but they give you their cell. Not very secure to leave stuff behind... Wi-Fi hardly working.
- Ianie (8/5): good interesting location - Quite atmospheric lobby - felt very Italian & residential.
- Stephanie (8/5): Conveniently located hotel - A good base in which to explore the city. Conveniently located within walking distance to the Metro and main bus station. Room has all the amenities needed. Staff are really friendly and helpful, also kindly allowed us to store our luggage on early arrival and late departure.
- Shanti (8/5): Should be Ok for 3 people! - Room is a bit cramped for 4 people!
