• Susan (9/5): Great location, wonderful staff, convenient and safe place to stay - This is a lovely little gem in a perfect location to attend meetings or concerts in San Jose. Very old house turned into sort of a bed-and-breakfast. They also have a wonderful Italian/Mediterranean food restaurant attached. Highly recommended! This was our third time staying at this property and each room has its own uniqueness. The room we stayed in this time was our least favorite only because the bed was absolutely terrible. If I was younger and traveling alone and not very pregnant, we would’ve made it work Better. We still plan to stay here more, but we will request not to be in that room as the fan also didn’t work so it was pretty hot as there was no breeze coming in the window.

• Sanchez (9/5): - The staff is great and humble, pretty convenient location. The breakfast was good. I wish there would be a bigger fan, although San Jose is cold, the fan is not powerful enough to feel the wind and there are people, like me, who love cold temperatures.

• irene (5/5): Ça va pour 1 nuit - Emplacement ok, check in et Check out efficaces. Chambre brouillante, côté rue et avec des verres très fins aux fenêtres. Du vis à vis mais pas de rideaux autres que les rideaux obscurants pour la nuit , donc pas de lumière naturelle pendant le jour (ou alors on accepte que les gens qui passent voient dans la chambre). Le jet d’eau dans la douche est dévié et c’est impossible à remettre droit, donc douche pas confort. Ça ne correspondait pas aux photos que j’ai vu lors de ma réservation.

• PRISCILLA (3/5): - Personal de recepción amable La habitación era la primera a la derecha, al lado de recepción. Podíamos oír todo y estoy segura que podían oírnos. Se escuchaba por la mañana los pasos por el suelo de madera. Había telas de araña en la esquina de la habitación, al lado de la cama y 1 pelo ajeno cuando destendimos la cama... Al hotel le hace falta amor, mantenimiento y limpieza de áreas comunes... Por dicha sólo fue 1 noche.

• Clare (9/5): - Greeted with a smile, a nice reception area to hangout in & a hot shower :) The location couldn't be better for the buses to Nosara. And u like allot of the other hotel reviews this place wasn't noisy at night. There is a restaurant but I didn't try it.

• Susan (9/5): Lovely little place to stay for travel transition or attending appointments or a concert in San Jose all you need in one - Very convenient location with parking, restaurant, and breakfast included! Hot water, tv, lots of space! Friendly staff!! Safe and clean The bed is pretty hard and the pillows have seen their better days but all in all it was a great place

Muy amables, muy buen desayuno, mi habitacion no tenia aire pero nunca lo uso asi que a mi no me importo. Ellos coordinan taxis desde y hacia el aeropuerto. Muy buen servicio.

• Heilyn (10/5): Super recomendado!!! - La atención por parte de todo el personal, fue maravillosa, Nos hicieron sentir como en casa, Emir no dudó en darnos todo el apoyo en nuestra estadía. La ubicación es genial, en el corazón de San José, pero es un barrio muy tranquilo y seguro. Me encató que disponen de un parqueo privado, con mucha seguridad. Sin duda otra de las cosas que más me gustó fue la comida deliciosa de su restaurante the cornner, las pizzas y las pastas son esquisitas y los desayunos una delicia Las instalaciones son hermosas, es una bella casa colonial con mucha historia en sus paredes.

• Anchu (1/5): Es mejor esperar un bus en la parada de buses que estar en un hostal así pagando 40€ - Las toallas estaban nuevas y blancas. La ubicación está bien. Está cerca de ambas paradas de buses para ir a Nicaragua. Pero el resto fue un desastre. Se escucha todo de las habitaciones al lado. Me despertaron varias veces. Al final se me quitó el sueño. Cuando entré al baño, en el lavabo había una cucaracha enorme y un pelo. Y el colchón me ha destrozado la espalda.

The window to outside didn't appear to open and didn't have a screen. The bathroom was a large step up from the rest of the room. The room was adequate but small. There wasn't any place to put a suitcase other than the floor. The bed was ok.
