Hotel location is very good that easily connects the old city and Xunpu village. Swimming pool is very nice except the cloth room must have some staff take care of some guests making something inside. Lobby and breakfast area are good. We like everything except staff's listening skill. Understand that pool and fitness area may be echo and loud, but instead of only saying "what!", may just say "say it again?". Traffic was slightly inconvenient by the construction area in front of hotel. Cloth room for swimming pool has a strange design like a maze so someone can do something unexpected that kids cannot see.

- Wahsek (8/5): Very good - Overall, not bad, but didnt put 10, as I see some room for improvement Quite abit of language issues, knowing an international hotel like Hilton, I expected that they would at least understand english, and that I didnt need to keep translating. Also when they take deposit, they automatically charge your card, instead of letting me know they are going to charge the deposit on that card. Due to exchange rates, I had to pay extra because of the exchange rate, since i hold an international card. When I personally wanted to put down cash as deposit. Also the receptionists are behind the counter constantly on their phone, which i find pretty unproffesional

Breakfast buffet exceptional in quality and variety. Convenience store and medium sized supermarket close by. Highly recommended.

- PDX16 (4/5): No English - Let me begin by saying that the hotel itself is nice, well appointed and clean. The problem is that not one person at the hotel can speak english. I have never encountered a western hotel in China that doesn't have at least one english speaking person at the front desk. While checking out I did run into the "new" manager of the hotel and he did acknowledge issues at this hotel. Hopefully they can fix their problems soon.

- WMBandit (10/5): The best hotel in Quanzhou - Quanzhou is defintiely worthy of the UNESCO title in fact far too late to be awarded one plus the people are just fantastic. Not just one site but over a dozen throughout Quanzhou that are UNESCO so what a fantastic tour. This was made better by this wonderful hotel. Love everything about it from service to facilities and of course the location which is walkable to two ancient ports, the river that divides the road with one of the most expensive compounds in the city as well shopping malls, restaurants and more. it is also a short ride to the center of most UNESCO sites as well. Fabulous city and hotel- would not hesitate to stay here again.

Rooms first rate. Breakfast buffet also excellent - well managed, reasonable price and good mix of food. Location is so-so, a new area with such low quality building the pavement etc already breaking up, several cheap eateries nearby. Rooms have a nice river view and there are areas to walk. Less good? check-in took over 30mins (all info was already collected) - no apology, seat or drink offered, i am over 60. Smoking in the lobby - allowed. Covid signs all ignored. Room service menu straight from a 2star hotel - under "local foods" - i kid you not - only steamed rice available.

- bachelor8 (10/5): Best choice in Quanzhou - This hotel was very generous for Hilton diamond members. When the club lounge was closed, they provided free dinner choices which was sent to your room. Lobby was very impressive. Heated pools and saunas were very comfortable. Took a taxi by costing 36 RMB to high-speed train station and costing 18 RMB to Quanzhou old town which is a world culture heritage site.
- 824karir (8/5): Quanzhou - Short business visit during late summer to Quanzhou. Nice hotel with spacious rooms. Excellent gym with plenty of equipment and a good sauna, really nice. Breakfast buffet also with western selection available. During the visit, lounge was organised at downstair restaurant. Appreciated the friendly staff. Hotel location is about 40 minutes walking distance to city.

The hotel was was very clean and the rooms were spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet meals had a good selection. The Gym and swimming pool facilities were great. I enjoyed my stay.

We were extremely happy with the level of services extended to us. Spacious guest rooms with classy decor. We booked the executive rooms with lounge excess. {Highly recommend it to anyone who is planning a trip Quanzhou} We had a relaxing time there both dinner time and breakfast. Our guests from USA were extremely pleased with their stays.

The only downside is the location. Not much around the hotel. There is a very good steakhouse, Piggy Bistro, in the building.

- veronica (10/5): Lots of English channels! - At first i rated the location low, but after seeing downtown I was glad I stayed here. Away from the hustle bustle, it provided a really relaxing stay. It was easy to get a taxi and was 15 mins away from malls. Surprisingly, Jinjiang is very green with lots of flowering plants on the road so the drive is always pretty. The buffet dinner offering lots of seafood is spectacular. They have chefs who cook the seafood any way you want it, but also offers an option for you to cook it on your table with a hot pot of water. The gym is overlooking the Quanzhou River. Bedroom is big, has an office table, 2 lounging chairs, and TV has lots of English channels. Wifi is good, it provides access to google, viber and whatsapp, perfect for travellers. Concierge very efficient in arranging transport to Shaolin Temple.
