- Ivan (8/5): - Away from all the noise, room was great shower was dirty had mold spots on the wall asked for room service once but I guess they don’t scrub the walls 😅 if you have bolt app you can get a ride in minutes which was great, location is more peaceful but there is no 7 eleven near by to go get snacks to avoid room service prices, POOL AREA: really nice views & private just know water is freezing since it’s shaded lol and there are a lot of lizards but they do keep the mosquitoes away 😅 you will have to download the hotel app to order room service and rides to the lobby,towels etc. we had building J and the walk was steep and slippery in some spots. only walked that once 😆
- Rajinder (4/5): Disappointed for a 5-star expectation. - I feel betrayed as I booked a 5-star hotel from hotel.com. This property is nowhere near a 5 from what I experienced there. Had to call for help with luggage from my car as I arrived. The Check-in took forever. My room was in building B, which was walks away from the main area and restaurant. You take a shuttle to get to breakfast. Spider webs, water pools, condensates on walls, smelly in the walkways to the room. Room: Average. Counters in room weren’t clean. Sink faucet so flashy that water pooled everywhere. Towel shelf broken and hanging. Floor remains slippery from condensation. Called three times for a room service to get a robe replaced and weigh machine battery replaced. During check-out waited half hour for bell boy, finally taking the baggage by just ourselves. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you are expecting a pleasant 5-star experience.
- Min (10/5): - Amazing value for such a premium property! We were automatically upgraded during our August ‘25 stay and thoroughly enjoyed the serene spaciousness of our ocean-view, private pool room. Only downside was the time it took for hotel cars to come get us when called. We ended up walking down the slopes at times rather than wait around so not too big a deal. Wyndham Grand is also not within walking distance of marts or food vendors so be prepared to call a Grab (Asia’s version of Uber) or order from the hotel’s 24-hour room service. A gem of a place in Phuket and definitely recommend for a romantic getaway or even for young families (they had fun floaties to use at the community pool :)

From GM Dom to Front Desk Best and Restaurant Manager Egg to our fantastic hostess Pond we were made to feel very welcome and treated with the upmost courtesy throughout our stay. The resort has fantastic amenities and there are numerous cafe and restaurants nearby which have fantastic views across the bay. We leave with fantastic memories of a wonderful vacation in a truly magnificent location.

- Ruhina (10/5): - My best friend and i stayed at this hotel to celebrate our 40th birthdays in Phuket. The hotel is beautiful and they have great staff and services all around. The shuttle is very convenient and cheap, Patong beach and Patong city are both close by. But what makes this hotel and experience far above any other stay anywhere else comes down to one single person, Pond. Pond is the executive secretary and is by far one of the best people we've ever met. We have traveled all over the world ans no one shines Pond. We met her on our first morning there while having breakfast at the Latitude restaurant at the hotel. She instantly greeted us with a smile and warm kindness. She chatted with us and gave us recommendations on things to do around the island. We asked her about one specific breakfast bread we loved a pervious morning and she instandly had the kitchen make it fresh for us! She would always bring us our morning coffees, had to go cups ready to go for us with our favorite iced tea, and even had our favorite breakfast bread ready for us on our final morning. She waited for us at check out and walked us to our taxi. While we loved every part of our 5 days in Phuket, we loved Pond even more. We will truly miss Pond, the rest of the kind staff, at this hotel even more than the rest of beautiful Thailand. This was the trip of a lifetime for us ao far and Pond was the shining star in it all. Whenever we return to Phuket, we will return to this hotel and to Pond.
- Lauren (8/5): - The property is in a quiet and convenient location; you can easily grab a ride share whenever you’re ready. Majority of the staff work extremely hard to meet your needs. I reserved the pool room and enjoyed it better than the hotel main pool. The best part about this hotel is the food. Everything ordered from room service and the breakfast buffet was amazing. I hate they badgered me about purchasing a timeshare, I’m on vacation and I don’t want to be hassled. Also, there are gnats in the room that were annoying at times.

The view in the building is great and can see the beach. 2. They offer transportation which is an additional price but the vehicle is a Benz. 3. All grab and other transport are picked in building A&B. A walk for others. 4. Staff were nice! 5. Not far drive to Patong Beach, restaurants, and other attractions. 6. It’s away from the other hotels and places so it’s not as busy/congested 7. Rooms were clean and stocked. 8. Not walking distance to the beach. Opinions: I wish this was commented on more in the reviews which is the HARDNESS of the BEDS! Changed rooms and both beds were extremely hard. They do give you mattress pads to help but you really need more than one. 2. Food was okay. Not bad or great! 3. Amenities were not extravagant as the pictures made them look. 4. Rooms were old and dated. Needed some cosmetic enhancements.

- Fernando (10/5): - When you first walk in, the view will take your breath away. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. They are truly committed to making your stay a special one. The location is also perfect for anyone who wants to have easy access to the crazy party scene in Potong Beach, but also wants a quiet place to relax and spend quiet time winding down. I highly recommend this hotel and we will be visiting again soon.

- Abul (2/5): Overpriced resort with below average amenities. - 1. Our flight arrived after midnight and checking in was quite troubling. We were taken to Main lobby from Welcome lobby with all the luggage and brought back to the Welcome lobby once again after check-in. 2. Both our bathrooms had faucets spraying water everywhere. Had to request repair the following morning. 3. Breakfast choices were quite poor compared to other hotels in the region. Staff were not very attentive when items needed refill. 4. Food was below average, whatever cuisine we chose. 5. Every time we requested for something it required multiple reminders. For example, cutlery and plates were delivered after an hour, after 3 reminders. 6. Most staff are nice and helpful except for a few. Bartender at the Lobby bar was quite rude. 7. While check-in we were told that we would need to request shuttle to go for breakfast at the restaurant above the main lobby. We found out that there were multiple shortcuts to walk up there.
- Roseline (10/5): - The Wyndham Grand Phuket is a beautiful hotel. My room offered an impressive view of the sea, and each morning I was greeted by a mesmerizing landscape. The hotel is conveniently located near Phuket's old town and beach, facilitating easy access to taxis. The staff members were friendly and demonstrated a commitment to customer service. I particularly appreciated the innovative feature that allows guests to order food to their rooms through a mobile application. However, there is an area in need of improvement regarding room conditions. Upon my initial check-in, the first room I was assigned exhibited a moldy odor; nonetheless, upon bringing this issue to the attention of the staff, my room was promptly changed.
- Maxwell (8/5): Enjoyable stay - We really enjoyed the property and the room/view was beautiful. We also liked that it was slightly removed from Patong. The staff was kind and helpful as well. The only issue we had was that, although there were plenty of nice looking options, the food was below average for all of the meals served at the hotel.

- Saad (10/5): - I had a fantastic stay at the Wyndham Grand Kalim Phuket Hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to access key areas like Patong via tuk-tuk or Grab. I spent five nights here and was impressed by the amenities and service. The hotel boasts a beautiful pool area with multiple pools to choose from, and the decor throughout the property is stunning. The gym is a standout feature—spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for a complete workout. The buffet was another highlight, offering a wide range of high-quality options, including international, Thai, Indian, Middle Eastern, and American cuisines. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. I also booked an airport transfer shuttle through the hotel, and their communication and attention to detail were exceptional. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phuket. Oh! And did I mention the magical views?!
- Diane (4/5): Hotel stay - This room of the hotel looks decent but I wasn’t comfortable during my stay here. When you turn on the sink the water sprays everywhere! They really need to adjust and fix it. That means the counter of the sink will be all wet. Also it was really hard to sleep at night since the ac is super loud and makes this horrible noise since their ac units are old. The restaurant was average and the workers there aren’t that friendly. Super outdated property and in need of an upgrade. I would recommend staying somehow else.
- Nora (10/5): - This hotel was stunning, they upgraded us to a pool villa which was awesome. Everything was immaculate and clean and beautiful. Only downside is need to get a ride everywhere because cabs pick you up from the lower lobby and you need a shuttle to get there
- Tahirul (10/5): - This hotel is 10/10. Amazing service and experience, with exceptional views. There’s plenty to do within the resort including, access to two pools, the gym and spa (which all offer amazing views). My personal favourite was the orchard - a garden of home grown fruits and nature within the resort, which is quietly tucked away. The shuttle bus was very convenient with an hourly service, and the breakfast spread was varied and provided many options including an egg station, Arabic and Thai food, and continental breakfast options as well as an amazing selection of coffee options (barista available). The rooms are incredibly spacious and staff are very friendly. I had a hole in my shorts and the staff fixed it for me with the sewing kit, they provided beautiful decorations and a complimentary dessert and also complimentary drinks at the infinity lounge area with exceptional sunset views. A special shoutout to Van (Pongsak) who provided us with a personal tour of the resort, provided us complimentary drinks and checked in with us regularly to see how we can make the most of our stay in the resort and Phuket - he was very friendly and always went above and beyond to make it an exceptional stay for us, including arranging breakfast for an early morning checkout. He really made our stay extremely enjoyable - we are already missing the resort! We have already recommended this place to our family who are planning a visit soon.
- Tommy (10/5): - Hotel was located on a hillside away from any shops or restaurants but they do provide a scheduled shuttle service to Patong central or beach with a minimal fee. Hotel restaurant situated on top of the property with a great sea view foods and services were excellent. Our room was having a few minor issues but hotel manager Van was very nice and able to correct it right away and provided a very pleasant stay. Definitely will come back here next time in Phuket.

- Jesus (10/5): - Staying here really was an amazing experience. Too many good things to say about this hotel! Place was quiet and very clean! Bed sheets and towels were all soft and clean, all the time! Room service and house keeping was spot on with amazing and well mannered staff. The restaurant and breakfast buffet had a ton of options with many different styles and cultures of food. There was something there for everyone! There is an app for the hotel which made it supper easier and convenient to request ANYTHING from your phone. The hotel sits on top of a hill so you will need to request to be picked up and dropped off, all the time. But with the app, it is super convenient and easy. I never waited more than 5 mins for a ride/pickup. Reason being that the hotel is quiet, is due to it not being very close to local markets/ local shops. Hotel is kind of secluded, with maybe a few shops and a couple restaurants on top of the hill nearby. Though, the hotel does provide shuttle pick up and drop off every hour to the center of the Patong beach city. They literally have you covered in all areas for your trip. Would definitely come back and stay here!
- Tia (4/5): - This was not a 5* hotel, we went as a group of 12 people we booked Deluxe room with a ocean view. the rooms located one end of the building and looked like we were in council flats going to our rooms! hotel rooms were outdated TV was fuzzy it was awful. bathrooms were tiny and basic the HOTEL is nothing like the pics. apart from the way it looked the hotel staff were really nice and helpful. I WOULD NOT RECOOMEND THIS HOTEL NOT A 5*

- Leslie (6/5): - The hotel staff was very nice. The first room they put us in smelled like mold. We moved to a upgraded room for a discount. It took 15 minutes for the water to turn warm to take a shower. We got locked out of our room because the batteries died and it took them 15 minutes to show up. The electrical switch in our room would go on and off flickering throughout the night. The resort needs some maintenance. The main lobby had a strong lemon candle burning that gave me a headache. They also needed more in dining selections.

The staff was gracious enough to move us to a pool villa. That room was amazing! Hence my high review. Most of the staff were amazing. Would definitely recommend Wyndham if you can afford a pool villa or better.
- Brooke (10/5): - Spring for the ocean view pool rooms. They are beautiful. This resort is simply stunning. Its set on a hill which provides panoramic views. You get around the resort by cars provided by the hotel. There are two lovely restaurant/bars. They are expensive to drink and eat at in Thailand but about right for a city center drink and food back home. We has the floating asian lunch brought to our room and that was well worth it. The hotel is away from everything but for 50THB the hotel will transfer your to Bangha Road in Patong, where you can see the madness or walk 15 mimutes to the night markets. We were charged 200THB to get back [after haggling down from 400] There are mosquitos at this hotel so please keep your doors closed. But would definitely recommend this hotel.

This has been the best birthday/holiday hands down for me in my 44 years. I would like to recognize one particular staff who has gone above and beyond his duties for making this by far the best memorable birthday ever! From my first day of arrival l was greeted by (Van) Pongsak Pushkin, I can't say enough about this wonderful man, thank you for giving me the best experience ever!! Van made my first day of arrival until my last day at check out, an amazing experience. Van was very professional and showed concern for every guest, he listen to my concerns and work on them immediately, even went out his way to make my 44 birthday memorable. As a solo traveler from Miami, Florida, I haven't came across customer service like this in years. The staff were friendly and treated me like family, I especially enjoyed how the staff called me by name or room number as they greeted me. I felt that was a nice touch to the whole experience. Best experience, hands down, would highly recommend staying that the Wyndham Grand in Kalim Bay, Phuket Sincerely customer for life, Geoline Andre C325

- George (6/5): - The distances between villas and lobby is far and can not be walked due to steep roads. you have to organise a hotel car to pick you up from villa to lobby and vice virsa every time as taxies are not allowed to drop you off to the villa. Very inconvenience when you travel as a family. Rooms are quite avaragr in size not as seen on photos. A bit old as well.
- Darrell (10/5): - I liked my stay at Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay a lot. The front desk area is small and was crowded when I first checked in. In my opinion, it didn't give a great first impression but the staff were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in a hotel to be included as part of my room price. The room was great with an awesome view of Kalim Bay. The hotel is oddly laid out with various buildings and levels but I didn't mind it. Oh, and location, location! It's just a few minutes from the beach and town of town Patong. A huge plus! Overall I recommend this hotel.
- Zachary (4/5): - Checking in was much more difficult than it needed to be. We had to fill out multiple pages of information before being asked for more money just to get our room key. Thankfully it was refundable but it would have been nice to know since we needed to withdraw more cash. Checking out was also frustrating as our flight didn’t leave from Phuket until 10 pm and the latest they could give us was 1pm. The bathrooms were also very small and the water pressure and temperature was inconsistent. They were also trying to sell us on their membership. They called our room multiple times(once while we were still sleeping) and then asked us to come see them at the front so they could try to convince us to pay more money for benefits we didn’t need.

I informed the hotel that I would be there celebrating my birthday and anniversary and walking into the room at check in they had a very nice setup for us and delivered a desert! The pool was very nice, they have a good happy hour where it’s buy 1 drink get 1 free. Gym was nice and clean. Food was good. Location is about a 5-15 min drive to Patong depending on traffic. Walked there in 1 hour. Viewpoint cafe was down the road 5 min walk. If we couldn’t find a grab or bolt they called a taxi for us. Staff were all very kind! On our last night our AC and power stopped working and they put us in a villa suite which was really nice. I had an amazing stay here

- Sreenil (10/5): - The hotel was amazing, the room was quite spacious and clean, the staff were nice. The bar and restaurant were also quite good. Only small issue was that the hotel is a bit far from the beach area but again it's a cliff side resort, so it is expected to be far from beach.
- Meredith (2/5): - Check-in took like 30 minutes and shouldn’t have been so long and complicated. Did not give a tour of property a had to find everything on our own and its large and on a hill and tough to navigate. Room was kind of dirty - sticky floor, felt not sanitary but clean enough I suppose. Service at restaurant was terrible - took forever to order, get food and waitress disappeared. We never got our appetizer and they messed up our order - mind you we were 1 of 2 diners at the time! They did comp our meal but still shouldnt be so difficult. The food quality is NOT good. The property is not convenient - there is a shuttle to patong you have to pay for and should be free - we tried to find it to go back from Patong but it never came at the time it was supposed to and had to take a cab. The bed was hard and not comfortable. The AC was always sooooo cold and hard to adjust. The pool in our room was freezing we didnt even use because it was so cold. When we left at 430am for a sunrise boat tour there was no one at the front desk or security at the front gate which was alarming from a safety perspective. The only redeeming things were the main pool with the bar which had a fantastic view and the reception bar for drinks during sunset was beautiful. Do not recommend. Would have rather paid much more money for a nicer safer place with better service.
- Kiaya (6/5): - You have to take a shuttle just to get to breakfast if not on the top level. They charge 100 bhat to and from the beach (for such little money why not include in price of the room?) overall very clean and safe but everything is also a bit inconvenient. The app sent us an offer for 600 bhat bucket of beers until 6PM we arrived at 5PM and we’re told the bucket wasn’t available. After speaking to our host only then did a manager get involved and got the staff to bring us the bucket. I would say the only nice thing is the breakfast and view while eating. Won’t stay again.
