De plus la terrasse est vraiment superbe, ma vue de la villa, j’ai adoré! Je conseille cet endroit, c’est superbe! De plus, ils acceptent les chiens et ça pour moi ça vaut de l’or! Le personnel est super gentil! Parfois la piscine n’est pas à son top mais généralement oui!

Breakfast available for a few hours. Bit of a hike up to the top of the hill, but I rented a cart for a day. They even had one for rent at the property.

La chambre est très sommaire avec un équipement vétuste et des prestations qui sont anciennes. Les robinets de douche sont défectueux et les pommeaux de douches ne permettent pas de prendre une douche convenable. Le mobilier des chambres et de la cuisine/salon est très ancien et mal adapté.

Fortunately, I just had a back pack but not for roller bags! Also, no one at reception although I tracked down staff by looking around the hotel and calling and texting.

Sin dudas hace falta más personal, ya que solo vi a tres chicas y al parecer eran las que se encargaban de todo, restaurante, limpieza y recepción

- Alex (9/5): Peaceful and beautiful spot close to central Sayulita. - The location is wonderful. It’s up on a hill in a more leafy neighborhood, but still super close to everything. The rooms were clean and I appreciated that I had my own mini-fridge and filtered water cooler. The common areas had a great view. Not much. There wasn’t always someone at reception, so check in and check out involved using WhatsApp. It all worked out well though.

La alberca y áreas comunes son excelentes, nos encantaba pasar tiempo ahí jugando, leyendo, platicando y pasándola bien. Algo maravilloso es que aceptan perritos, así que pudimos llevar a la mascota que se la pasó muy bien también. Otra cosa genial es que hay un garrafon en el cuarto!!!!! Muchísimas gracias por el agua infinita y el frigobar!!! La habitación que tuvimos era bastante pequeña (aunque tiene más grandes, no te preocupes). El problema no era tanto el tamaño, sino que tienen una distribución que he visto en otros casos donde el baño no está realmente separado del resto del cuarto, ya que los muros divisorios no llegan hasta arriba.

- NAOMI (8/5): - La vista del lugar se veía espectacular, las instalaciones y las habitaciones eran cómodas y funcionales. Para poder llegar al alojamiento hay una subida muy empinada, es subir con precaución. La hora maxima para poder estar estar en las instalaciones era estrictamente a las 10, por lo que no podíamos seguir conviviendo sin inconvenientes, sugeriría cambiar la hora a las 11 pm

Mandé mensaje para checar todo y nunca me dijeron que se cobrarían 500 por noche por perro. Y tampoco tiene la opción de pagar antes. Pues ahora entiendo por qué... Para cobrartelo en persona todo lo demás. Además de todo me empezó a gritar un señor ahí diciendo que no decían mentiras. Además está súper lejos de la playa, varias colinas para llegar y varias cosas mal que contar del lugar.

- Monika (9/5): Superb - Awesome view, very clean, beautiful garden. Music from other guests at the pool. They were allowed to bring their speakers, and even though the music was not loud, it was not to my taste and not appropriate for children. I think music should not be allowed in public spaces.
- Zellweger (9/5): Superb - Very nice staff. Helped me out with a cup for a tea and ordered a taxi for me early in the morning. I could even check in a bit earlier, very easy. Nice pool to relax and a quiet area away from the crowd. Steep hill to get to the hotel and no elevator. If you travel with heavy suitcases be aware to carry them up/down the stairs. In the drawer i found some clothes from a person before me, so that was not so well checked.

- Brad (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at Villas ChulaVista! We walked from the bus station which took 20–30 minutes because of our luggage and the steep uphill climb, but we are in good shape at 65 and 75 years old. The property is beautiful with nice views of the valley below. Gorgeous pool area with plenty of seating and shade. My wife and I had the small studio, which was just fine for us… It had a small refrigerator but no microwave… Very comfortable bed and good AC. The units also have a large container for drinking water, plenty of hot water for showers, and coffee each morning by the desk. There was no breakfast available as the kitchen area seems to be closed permanently. The owner was very nice, but very little English is spoken by the staff. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Sayulita!

The room stayed cool and was supplied with drinking water, a mini-fridge, and towels for my stay. The room was great for sleeping, but I didn't want to spend extra time there. Lots of stairs to get down to the pool with heavy luggage, but the staff was gracious with their help

Nice that each room had its own bathroom (we had 2 bedroom with kitchenette). Useful kitchenette. Great view of the town. The pool was very nice to relax by. Hill leading up to hotel is steep but short. Check in was a little confusing, check in desk isn't always staffed. Got in ok though

Got extra towels for the beach no problem. Close to downtown (10 min walk), but a steep walk back. Steep walk back from town. Wouldn’t recommend this to someone with physical limitations.
- Jack (9/5): Amazing value for money - will definitely return! - The place is in an ideal location away from the noise of central Sayulita but just a short walk into town. The value for money with the accommodation is amazing! Staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Only a small thing but we didn’t receive all of the information at check in with the code to the front gate missing. This meant we had to climb over when we arrived back late on one night. Also, the coffee pot at reception was not regularly full of a morning which would have been nice to have.
- Ashley (6/5): Good value for basic lodging. Beautiful pool! - We only stayed one night as a last minute move from our Centro location due to noise concerns. The receptionist did not speak any english and we know limited spanish so we didn't get any info at check-in other than our door code and check out time. If there is breakfast as advertised, we couldn't find it. The room was taken care of and beautiful, however the bed was very uncomfortable. One of the 2 queen rooms in our suite had a large window to the main staircase with a thin curtain so that wasn't ideal but thankfully we didn't need the room anyways. Location is at the top of Gringo Hill so get a taxi or Uber!

Not their fault but it's a pretty step hill and I had to walk it with a knee injury. Use an Uber! It's super inexpensive.

- Melanie (8/5): Nice place to stay, will come back - Nice pool area. The rooms at the pool are small and dark but good for the money. A/C working well. Some contact person not really on-site, but reachable via whatsapp. Bathroom was not super clean, mosquito net broken.
- John (9/5): It was an incredible stay and we would love to stay there again! - The rooms were beautiful, open and spacious. The beds were comfortable and we liked having two bathrooms. The view was great and the pool area was fun. The Pool was a bit too cold.
- Tash (7/5): Nice place, would stay again but they need to get some matts for the pool loungers - Pool was lovely, but didn't get a lot of sun and was very cold. There were only a few locations around the pool that got much sun. The sunloungers were very very uncomfortable, they could do with putting some sort of matt on them and providing pool towels. Pool towels could have been provided. The website alluded to there being a kitchen even for single rooms to use, there wasn't one.
- Graham (6/5): Overall good value. - Staff were great. Nice little pool and hangout spot. My room was located right outside the pool area unfortunately. One night some people decided to stay up late and party, and unfortunately it was quite loud.

- Pamela (7/5): Nice pool and view but could be cleaner. - Exactly like the photos, nice pool. About a 10 minute walk to town. Not much soundproofing so you can hear those above you and some street noise. The kitchen needed more cups/glasses. Would have been nice to have some tea or coffee in the room. Says there is a restaurant but there is not. The bathroom and bedrooms were pretty clean but the kitchen was not. We felt it was overpriced.
- Luis Fernando (6/5): - Definitely a lovely location with an amazing view of the mountains, but I was lucky to have a car to go downtown & back up several times a day - don’t do this place if you can’t walk up steep hills or long distances for that matter 😅 the place itself is lovely but could use better admn.

- Lee (2/5): Unwelcoming - Pros: The Hotel is on Gringo Hill up and away from the nightly noise of Sayulita. It was very quiet. We walked out our door to a nice pool and a beautiful view of a valley. A short walk (7 minutes) into town. Cons: The staff were unfriendly, arriving there it felt like they were almost surprised to see us. Almost like we were intruding, it was uncomfortable to say the least. Our room was down 3 flights of stairs, I lugged our luggage down and got almost all the way there before the maintenance man help with the final lag. No body helped on the way out. There was no daily house keeping, we had to find staff to help replace towels. They seemed irritated at simple request. But probably the worst piece of was when we needed to replace toilet paper they gave us a roll that had been consolidate from left overs coming from other rooms. There was no restaurant, we literally booked this hotel because they advertised they have a restaurant and we wanted to have breakfast each morning. The room, it was tiny, which would be totally fine except there was absolutely no place to hang anything or even a spot to place luggage. There was no hot water. It was also hard to contain the water to the shower.

- Lynn (7/5): Neat experience. - The open air concept of the kitchen/dining area was different and nice. Felt like you were in a tree house. It was very noisy from ATV/side by sides, wild chicken and wild dogs all the time. There wasn’t any indication of the hike to and from (uphill)the Centro. No comfortable seating area (sofa) only kitchen chairs.

- Josephine (5/5): Lovely few with some perks - The property is in a very nice location, up a hill. The pool is nice and you have a very good view from there! Calma y tranquilla ! The staff wasn’t friendly at all. First I wasn’t able to pay with card and then all of a sudden yes. Also after we checked in I received a call from one of the staff members asking if I’ll arrive or not but in a very rude tone. I tried to explain him that we already checked in but he was very short tempered and wouldn’t understand. In the end we solved it and he didn’t even apologized. The bathroom was dirty and the water in the toilet was dark brown.
- Mark (4/5): It was a 4/10 that could have been closer to a 9 or 10 if people cared about hospitality. - The pool, patio/balcony and out door area is amazing with a beautiful view. The was no hot water but I think that is normal. The shower curtain was filthy. There was a stain on my bed sheet. The garbage didn’t get emptied once and I stayed there for 5 nights. There was an unimpressed/depressed teenager as the concierge.
