• 458beni (10/5): Excellent! - Everything about Exit Glacier Lodge was great. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our check-in was easy and fun, and our breakfast was delicious and Todd was great! Our cabin was very cozy and cute. We will definitely stay again when in Seward.

• cheyboer45 (4/5): Uncomfortable stay. - Small room, no furniture to put clothes in, no air conditioner, no elevator, the room had an unpleasent smell, no attention to detail. Big pot holes in entrance driveway to parking, so big you could not avoid them. Property looked like a junk yard,I think by design due to the Sanford and Son painted on the abandoned truck. I've never paid SO much for so little.
• Hendrik (9/5): Big room with all amenities you need - The hotel was very good with all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable. We chose the room because it said it was ‘separate’ from the living room with a fold-out bed. It is located around the corner, but it is the same space, so it does not block out the noise of snoring fellow travelers. :-) But otherwise, everything was fine. Friendly hotel owner who gave us tips for breakfast.

• NJTravelTrio (9/5): Fine country-inn introduction to Seward - We loved the country-lodge feel of the wood-panelled lobby and the old-timer feel of the high-ceilinged room and decor. It showed respect for the past and suited the natural setting well. The many depressions in the driveway and pavement outside of the hotel trapped water from a major rain a couple of days earlier. But this was no real problem. Just added to the rustic feel.
• LandSMom (10/5): Unique Experience - My daughter and I stayed 2 nights at Exit Glacier Lodge. It has a very Alaskan feel. We love finding hotels that aren't your typical chain hotel, so Exit Glacier Lodge definitely fit the bill. The hosts are all very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It's rustic, so don't think resort hotel. There is a restaurant next door which we would recommend. We would definitely go back.

• Joyce (5/5): We do not recommend this place. - It was clean, and close to Exit Glacier, but that was about all I can say for it. The cabin was old and falling apart. You had to walk through weeds to get to it, and then the inside was barely holding together. The sink was held up with a 2x4 and the TV didn't work. It looks like at one time they were going to add a loft, but never finished it.

Located on road that goes to Exit Glacier National Park. Next door is The Salmon Bake which is also very good and great staff and food. Restaueant closes Sept. 1st for the season.
• gawildcats (6/5): Too Rustic for Us - We checked in to Cabin #2. There were weeds growing all around the cabin and the picnic table outside was in terrible shape. While the inside was clean, the cabin appeared to have been built with bits and pieces of leftover materials. There is a block of something holding up the bathroom sink. The walls were pieced together with what looks like random pieces of wood. The TV didn't work, and the WiFi was horrible. We expected more than this for the price we were charged!
• Daniel (8/5): - The lodge was a nice oldtime building. Felt like you were going back to the 1920s. Rooms were nice. No view from the property and the parking lot area and surrounding buildings were not in good shape.

• Jim (10/5): Enjoyed the comfortable clean hotel and friendly owner. - Quiet location near the Kenai National Park entrance for Exit Glacier. There was a Ranger lead hike to the glacier at 10 am which we made very easily. The Salmon Bake restaurant next door is good for rustic casual dining; same prices as in town. Owner is very nice and helpful.

• Z4841ARsandys (10/5): Exit Glacier Lodge Cabin #2 - Our stay at the Exit Glacier Lodge was comfortable and convenient. We stayed in Cabin #2, which was clean but very dated. We would stay there again if life takes us back to Seward.

The room was clean and quiet and had plenty of room for the 4 of us who stayed there and for my daughter's family who spent part of an evening with us while it rained. The staff was friendly and great to work with. The price was a bit cheaper than most places I had considered. I highly recommend staying here.

The room was very pretty and it was clean. My husband loved that they had Roku and he could watch his LiveTV, lol. The atmosphere here was just so friendly and hospitable. We were just so pleased here.

• bellamac7 (8/5): Worth a visit - Stayed for two nights while touring . Very friendly reception staff . Rooms clean and well appointed . Tv fridge etc . Doesn’t service meals but restaurant next door . Only minus point is not walking distance to Seward centre .
• amyinboulder (10/5): Comfortable, cozy and family friendly lodging close to town - This is a great find for convenient lodging in Seward, amidst the more expensive and less charming options by the harbor. The owners are very personable and helpful, you can pre-order breakfast and it will be cooked to order before your outing. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean. The Salmon Bake restaurant next door makes this extra convenient for families coming and going from other trips in the area.

• ColleenC974 (10/5): Nice little lodge close to Kenai Fjord National Park - We stayed here for one night while visiting Seward during our Alaska trip. Our main focus of our trip to Seward was to visit Kenai Fjord National Park and hike up to the Exit Glacier, and this lodge was just down the road from it. The owners were very friendly and the rooms are quite spacious. It is a little dated, but it actually suits the lodge's overall aesthetic. I would definitely stay here again. They do have a small dining area, but we did not utilize it during our stay.
• Brentsmithindy (10/5): Don't miss this hidden gem. - This is a cozy historical lodge with easy access to the Exit Glacier and Seward. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a nice visit with the owner and his family, who were very hospitable. I highly recommend staying at this lodge!

• Hartman (8/5): Cozy cabin at the edge of town - This was a cozy cabin with a basic bed and small bathroom setup. For two of us for two nights it was fine. It is outside of town next to casual restaurant. The staff are very nice. Its a very basic setup. The space heater and mini fridge are noisy, and the bed is squeaky.

I would be remiss if I didn't call out Todd's hospitality - he made sure we had breakfast before we went out on our boat tour, and it was so tasty! The salmon bake next door is also super convenient for dinner after a long day of being a tourist.
