Main downside for those without a car is the dangerous 10 minute walk along a busy road devoid of sidewalk or lighting, in order to get something to eat in the evening.

My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I highly recommend this lovely hotel and look forward to staying again when travelling through Gatwick.

Their guest house is immaculately clean and comfortable, we had a perfect nights sleep and received a lovely packed breakfast to go as we needed to be at the airport before breakfast was served. - S (10/5): Return to home - Trumbles is a fantastic little B&B located just 10 minutes from Gatwick. Julia and Dave are fantastic hosts. They offer 10 pounds pick up and drop off at the airport. We stayed 2 nights and took a trip into London to enjoy a theatre show. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was large and clean. Cookies and beverages were provided. Each morning we enjoyed a full English breakfast. The town of Charlwood is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the hotel and offers two lovely local pub/restaurants to eat at. We would definitely stay again if travelling through Gatwick.

A great location, a beautiful house and fantastic hosts. The cooked breakfast alone would be a reason to stay which is served with beautiful views of the garden. Simply put, when we next have a flight to catch from Gatwick this will be a part of the trip we look forward to!

Julia and David were very helpful throughout our stay and provided excellent and friendly service. We enjoyed a very good nights sleep in a comfy bed and clean room. Breakfast was very nice and we particularly enjoyed spotting some of the wildlife in the lovely garden! We also needed to pick up our car from the wedding venue in the morning and David was on hand to provide a taxi service after breakfast.

- Anthony (10/5): Trumbles, perfection! - This was our second visit to Trumbles and was as excellent as the first! We were warmly greeted and shown to our room which was immaculate. The bathroom with a full bath and show in one was great, the shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. On site parking is great 👍 and free of charge. We were staying local so didnt require the Trumbles gatwick parking service. Breakfast was excellent with an option for full english or continental all served for you. A fabulous stay and i highly recommend Trumbles.

A fantadtic beakfast set us up for exploring the surrey hills and beyond, geat hosts and a great stay, we will be back.

Our room featured the largest bathroom we've ever seen in a B&B. :-)

The shower took a long time for warm water to come through and the water was only warm at best. This is the only thing that could be improved on. I stayed the night before a flight and the host does the airport transfer. Overall i would highly recommend staying here. It's a beutiful places in a lovely location.

- Patricia (10/5): Fantastic B&B minutes from Gatwick. - A lovely old building, previously a cottage hospital at the turn of the 20th century. Our room (1) was spotlessly clean, spacious, with an enormous bathroom! Lots of storage space and two armchairs!! Really peaceful location but able to watch the planes take off at Gatwick. That David and Julia will collect / deliver one to the airport made a huge difference to us. Oh, and walking distance to a great pub or two!

- Craig (8/5): A great ending to our trip,want to come back - It was a quaint place to stay. The hostess was very friendly. There was a pub called Half Moon we walked to for a delicious dinner . We only stayed one night & couldn't stay for their cooked breakfast but they still had a nice continental breakfast available. We appreciated that they provided transportation sportation to the airport .

David and Julia were delightful hosts. Transport to Gatwick is offered for 10 pounds, a very reasonable rate.

Fresh cut flowers at breakfast, a ton of toiletries - many more than I found at properties that charge 4x what we paid here. Very clean! It is a place we will definitely return to. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience and the owners and their daughter that we interacted with were absolutely lovely!
