Guest Reviews
- Thomas (10/5): - Immer wieder gern und absolut empfehlenswert!
- Belinda (10/5): - A beautiful property. Owner Carole was very welcoming. The room was spotless and the breakfast was excellent.
Very large and comfortable bed. The owners own the pub down the road which serves good food with very generous portions.
- Tammy (10/5): - Beautiful property in a quaint little town, run by a lovely couple! He is a chef and they also run the pub up the road. Delicious food at the pub and also for our included breakfast. We even sat in the library after dinner and were offered a glass of port. Just a delightful stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent service and attention to detail. Very welcoming staff.
- Russell (8/5): - Excellent facilities
- Russell (8/5): - Very helpful and polite owners. Quality breakfast and excellent pub a short walk away
- Marion (10/5): Overnight honeymoon. - This was an overnight stay for my daughter and her wife after their wedding. The owners were friendly and very welcoming. They went to their pub over the road and a table was provided even though they hadn’t booked. Breakfast was fantastic.
- Jacquelyne (10/5): Excellent stay in a wonderful old building - Excellent accommodations, the rooms (we had two) were really lovely the service and breakfast was the best. Nothing was too much trouble we were giving fresh milk and ice for our room. I might have added coffee tables in both room but that was just one small point. A glass of complimentary port with our game of chest was fab. Thank you.
- Cathy (10/5): Better than a five star hotel - I booked this stay as the reviews on trip advisor were amazing and I was so glad I did. The farmhouse was renovated to the highest standard. Everything is high end and so tasteful. We had the warmest welcome from our hosts and were blown away by the size and beauty of our room and the biggest bed I have ever slept in. Even the biscuits in the room are home made. Dinner at the three tuns pub which is a stone throw away was excellent and is run by our hosts. It was just so lovely to stay in the lovely village have such outstanding accommodation and such a great place to head to in the evening for dinner. Breakfast was so delicious with such a wide range of choice and cooked by host Chris who is a chef. It was a joy to stay in such wonderful accommodation and without doubt we will be back.
- D (10/5): - Fantastic B & B. Best I've stayed at
- Olli (10/5): Cozy and easy - Enjoyed the stay. Service is excellent and facilities are in excellent shape. Breakfast is high quality and plenty. Loved the atmosphere at the pub and the food. Too bad that the day is short during the winter. Didnt see the surroundings after the day at work in Sittingbourg.
The only con is the soundproofing.
- Don (10/5): A great experience - A lucky find and close to relatives. Will recommend to friends
- Lorna (10/5): - Really helpful lovely place to stay
- Christine (10/5): - Approaching the gorgeous Green Farmhouse, I was struck with amazement at how beautiful and homely it felt. I was greeted at the door and shown around and was given keys to the Pintail. The room was cosy and fitted with everything I needed. It overlooked the lovely garden that was provided to the guest to lounge in. The bathroom was big and provided a bathtub that was situated on it's own platform. I've honestly never been to such a wonderful place before. When awakening, the smell of fresh toast and freshly made eggs drifted from in from the kitchen below. Although the beams did provide a bit of a hazard, we were warned well in advance to be careful, plus it added so much character to the place - I didn't mind being knocked on my head, back down to reality. The breakfast room was spacious and light, while providing a continental breakfast as well as a cooked breakfast. Honestly and truly, I've never had such a well made breakfast. I opted for the french toast and maple syrup and the host recommended to have bacon with it, and I did! Afterwards, I got ready for the 12pm check out. The hosts were very relaxed and welcoming and even allowed us to leave our cars in the parking area while we had a look around. They also run the pub next to the farmhouse too! I will most certainly be visiting again!
- Joseph (10/5): An outstanding Farmhouse - An outstanding farmhouse that ranks as the best stay I have ever had while away on business in the last 27 years. In immaculate condition, everything was superb, from the warm welcome, room, communal areas and wonderful breakfast. Good locality with pubs and lots to explore. Also excellent value. Looking forward to my next visit to Sittingbourne.
- Linda (10/5): Nice hotel owners very nice - Room nice. Breakfast. good. Whoud have been. a nice extra if a robe @ slippers. was supplied.
