It is spacious with a great outdoor covered space - Loved the fire pit. Overall a very peaceful and comfortable place to stay. Not enough parking space when other properties were occupied. Shower door a bit awkward for access though the shower itself was excellent.

Private beach and fire essentials made for cozy evenings! Deb and Neil were also super friendly and responsive. It’s on a busy street, so it’s not a secluded getaway, but that didn’t impact our enjoyment. Just was a bit of a surprise.

Only negative is that since I am allergic to dogs and with them being as pet friendly as they are (I didn't see this when booking), I had some issues with my face swelling after sleeping in the bed. Some of the carpets also smelled like animal urine... but other than that, we absolutely loved it here.

Neil and Deb contacted us the morning of our stay to make sure we has all the check in info. When we arrive it was easy to find and very close to Burlington. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare a nice meal, living room had comfortable furniture and a warm beautiful fireplace. The patio outside had a firetable which we would have loved to use if it wasn't raining, they even gave us mini smore kits for it! The king size bed was comfortable and the bedroom was spacious. The bathroom had a beautiful huge luxurious soaker tub with rainfall style shower, the bath was so nice it felt like a spa treatment! The views were amazing too! We are already discussing our next trip back and can't wait to stay here again, it's well worth the money!

Jb (10/5): Exceptional - The property totally exceeded our expectations in every way! No matter where you are inside you are gazing out onto the breathtaking harbor. It is mesmerizing! The kitchen and bathroom are upscale and exceed any top scale resort. The bed was very comfortable and plush. The deck had a grill and propane fire pit as well as every type of water activity available and included. Kayaks, paddle boards, row boat, beach and fire circle. The location is very close to everything including Bayside Park and the nearby biking trails which was why we were there. This property was perfect in every way! We wished would could have stayed longer and Neil & Deb the hosts were wonderful with communications in advance so we were totally prepared. We loved absolutely everything!

Lots of privacy. Beautiful spot on the lake, with a dock and pontoon boat rental available. Fire pit and some non-motorized water raft to use (kayak, SUP, etc). Lots of spiders on the decks, so we didn’t use them. Living area would benefit from more soft seating (maybe a loveseat).

James (5/5): Great view. Great kitchen. Very poor beds and linens. - The view of Mallet's Bay was outstanding. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The bathroom was very nice, but there should have been a powder room, especially since this place is offered as accommodation for four adults. The king bed was totally worn out, causing excruciating back pain, obviously a castoff from the owner(s). The pillows were flat and also worn out; we had to buy two new pillows for ourselves so we could get some semblance of a decent sleep. We had 2 adult guests with us and there were no linens for the sofa bed. No pillow cases for the three old extra pillows. Parking was available but difficult to maneuver in because of a pickup and trailer parked behind us, working on an adjacent property during the daytime hours. The road was quite busy and difficult to merge into from the driveway. The guests in the apartment upstairs made a lot of noise that did not abate until about 1 AM. A lot of money to spend for this many issues.
George (7/5): Good - Beautiful views. Three bedroom property with really nice views. Owners were really nice and provided items that were missing. About 15 minutes from Burlington. It's kind of difficult and confusing to enter the property, especially at night. There is poor lighting and very little signage. Fairly big property but lacks a "living room" area, especially evident when there is bad weather and you can't hang out outside.
Robert (9/5): perfect stay for us 2 with beautiful lake view - great Position on the lake, very cosy. great coffee supply thanks. it is really a small (attached house) and even in winter nothing beats the view. a lot of attention to detail, nice soaps and good towels. BBQ. good communication. nicely heated. essential grocery store less than a mile with good wine selection. It was perfect for two. There is a pullout couch on the gallery but it is open to the kitchen and living room - for information. great bathroom with even jacuzzi bathtub which we didn’t try but want to mention and even a second full bathroom next to the kitchen. just kitchen towels couldn’t be found
Yoharalin (10/5): - We stood at the Vermonter. It was our first family 2024 Trip and we wanted something different than our usual summer vacation. The place was beautiful, with the most amazing view you can wake up and go to sleep looking at. I brought in my puppy and it was just a perfect week, there’s lots of food options within 10-15 Mins driving, a park 2 mins away walking distance. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the stay. There was a little confusion at the beginning with no receiving the code as a booked thought Expedia but a call to owner Deb fix it right away! Amazing pleasant owners

Location in Colchester was great too - lots to do and a short ride to Burlington or Winooski. There was a unit above us so of course there was some noise at times - we may try to rent that one next time. But our unit was great and it was quiet at night so not a big deal

MARTI (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay. The view was stunning and my husband and 6 year old grandson spent every evening casting their rods into the lake while the fire kept them warm. Check in was effortless and the hosts were very accommodating. The bed was fabulous. Slept like a rock! I’m a stickler for a soaking tub. This, along with the location, was what drew me to this property and it didn’t let me down. Having a large soaking tub and on demand hot water heater at my own home, makes me very picky about tubs. I was happily surprised that I didn’t run out of hot water! ❤️ If we venture that way again in our travels I will know where to stay! Thanks so much for adding to an experience we will always remember.

It was a great find, super comfortable, incredible views, relaxing, and close to great bike/walking paths. I will definitely be back. Management was fantastic with great communication. I even ran a little late with check out due to shopping on Church Street in Burlington, and they were super flexible and kind about it.

Between the amount of space for 8 grown men, full size kitchen (for those who like to cook like us) and views of the lake you can’t beat it. Helen (10/5): - This property is about 20 minutes from the airport, grocery store, convenient mart, McDonald's, Dunkin, & Subway nearby. We stayed in the Vermonter: One bedroom, one bath, living room with a fireplace, large kitchen with nice size dining room. As you walk in the front door the view of the lake hits you in the face: It is breath taking. The entire back of the house is all windows so you can enjoy the lakeview. There is a spiral case going up to the loft, it has a bed and 2 chairs.

Jon S. (10/5): Spiral staircase condo - Everything was clean and cozy. Daughter has been accepted to University of Vermont, so would be delighted for a return visit. We felt the only drawback of this lodging was not having enough comfy seating on the main living level. If the dining table were smaller, perhaps a small couch could replace the armless chair?
