- Francis (8/5): Very good - The best bit about staying here was Sumith, the owner/manager. He is very friendly and helpful. Always offering me coffee or tea and I felt any request I would have made, he would have done his best to help. I had many good conversations over coffee with him. I was a budget traveller in Sri Lanka but the rooms here were great, in fact the best finished and kept accommodation I had throughout the month I spent there. Across the road was a very local restaurant (no western or westernised dishes, just a selection of Sri Lankan curries in earthenware pots) where you could eat well with great local cuisine and plenty of it for Rp800 - 1000. Brilliant. The location is great for travelers arriving on a late flight or for departing flights. I took a Tuktuk to Kochchikade station and a train to the station by the airport and a Tuktuk to the airport, total cost less than Rp1,000 The noise of some late night arrivals, conversing very loudly in the courtyard below my room. The hotel is close to Bandaranaike airport so new guests can arrive in the early mornings or very late at night.
