Staff were very friendly and helpful Your room got no privacy for a family of 3, shower open. your cupboard's sliding door was stuck could not open the door. could not hang up clothes was also off rails looked old. Fridges were leaking water on the floor. hair dryer did not work. very little milk only for 1 person, only had pod coffee that we do not drink so no other coffee. when we came in the room the cough was already opened and made in a bed, for child. due to this we did not have any chairs to sit on had to sit on the beds. Bed was skewering so at night when my daughter turned over it sounded like she is lying on a wooden rack. Chairs at the swimming pools is so old it starting to break and tearing loose. this was brought under the manager attention. very unprofessional, while I was showing out the issues, he kept making excuses blaming Christmas season. Clear your unit is not checked buy management. Your Restaurant is excellent in the service and quality food. For R8000.00 for 2 nights this was very disappointing. IF YOUR NAME SAYS YOUR A LODGE, YOU WAY BEHIND, IT IS JUST A NORMAL B AND B. VERY DISIPOINTING. Alo what was not nice, it you cannot contact the restaurant for a food order, have to walk in the rain to order.

A relação preço qualidade, quer do quarto quer da piscina, embora o restaurante seja agradável. Muito caro para qualidade do quarto. Nem sequer tinha amenities de qualidade, por exemplo cotonetes, chinelos, escovas de dentes, coisa espectável para uma noite que cujo o custo rondou os 183€.

We thought we were going to spoil ourselves with a more expensive lodge, but it was average comparing to other lodges in the vicinity. Across the road was a far better one which was less expensive and had much more to offer for instance like a spa on the premises.

• Wessels (9/5): Most pleasant! - The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and convenient. The service in the restaurant is rather slow, but the food is good. It tok an hour for the food to be served after we ordered

• Collins (6/5): Excellent location, lots of potential with a little more attention to detail. - Location is excellent. Property is clean and modern but lacks a little atmosphere. Soft music in the breakfast area, some fresh flowers, more decor is needed. Some floor rugs next to the bed would warm up the space, and a mirror in the bedroom for doing hair and makeup would be appreciated by most guests. Showers and beds were excellent. Appreciated the full DSTV bouquet. It seemed bare and understaffed. A little lacking in atmosphere overall. We stayed in room 12 which it set away from the other rooms and the bathroom overlooks the kitchen entrance, so this was noisy and lined with bins. Lighting to get to this room was very bad, hard to walk in the dark. Room lighting could also be better. The breakfast buffet on the continental side was sparse but the menu options were very good.

• Ilse (10/5): I am a returning customer and will always stay at Hamiltons if accommodation is available. - The room was spacious and I really appreciate the coffee machine and fridge in the room. It is very convenient to have the restaurant close-by and the food is always excellent. I had supper served as room service and their were promptly on time and the staff member were very friendly an unintrusive. I took as packed breakfast as I left early, and the fruit salad was good. The rest of the breakfast pack was really not on standard.

I phoned to notify them and 2 days later the shoe was found by one of the staff members outside of the property and I was contacted to make arrangements for my shoe to be couriered to Pretoria. I am so grateful
• Carol (6/5): Just acceptable. Venue could be so much better. - Nice table on stoep. Friendly staff. Cooked breakfast was not hot. Restaurant poorly decorated. Mixer tap in bathroom lose. Reported to manager who seemed to think its a plumbing problem and not his. Not nice to have a lose tap when you re paying over R3000 to stay for one night. No tissues in the room just a few luxuries would e nice.

Has the potential to be good. - The property is the closest accommodation to the Malelane gate, making it a great spot for visiting the park. Service was below average with multiple irritations. Dinner took forever to arrive and then was uncooked so it had to go back and breakfast came 30 min after ordering and was the incorrect order.
• Rosario (1/5): Rude management and a bat-infested, unclean environment spoiled our visit. - Nichts We paid for rooms featuring double beds and sofa beds. Upon arrival, one of the rooms was unavailable. The owner was extremely rude and attempted to accommodate us in a room infested with bats. Although the location is convenient, the presence of bats poses a health risk and the overall cleanliness is subpar.

• Christine (10/5): A great all round experience - Great rooms with comfortable bed and plenty of space. Super shower. Coffee maker, kettle and fridge. Extensive satellite tv channels. Reasonably priced restaurant with a good choice of food and a wonderful breakfast. We were a multi generational family and both the double and family rooms were equally good, the family room having a double and a twin bedroom. The grandchildren loved the pool and it couldn’t have been better placed for Kruger National Park, being 400m from Malelane gate. We never even noticed load shedding! Special thanks to Derek, who made our stay even more special thanks to his attentiveness. The first night we stayed the restaurant service was very slow. However, this was much better on our second night and it did not detract from our overall experience.

• Jonika (2/5): Extremely poor, not up to standard of a four star. Will not recommend to anyone - Close proximity to malelane gate The receptionist was not welcoming. There was only one chair in the family room and no suitcase racks were provided. The light in the kitchen was faulty, after reporting this, a tiny light was given that didn’t help in light up the room. In the bathroom, the towels were extremely worn out and the shower floor extremely greasy and dirty. Family unit was not cleaned properly and the pictures on the lodge’s website was not an accurate reflection of the family unit. On the second day of our stay, there was no table set up for our breakfast. Breakfast buffet was cold and all crockery and cutlery were dirty. Used and stained teacups were put out to be used again. Upon departure, when all these issues were brought to the attention of the receptionist, she became defensive and rude.

• Rahul (9/5): Loved Hamilton’s - definitely coming back here ! - Amazing property! We were staying here while on a visit to Kruger. The location was just perfect. so close to Melalane gate . The restaurant packed us a lovely breakfast for our early start for the day. The rooms were bare minimum but were exactly what we needed - comfortable & clean. We also had dinner at the restaurant - tasty food & great service. Nothing !

• Risha (5/5): Not Worth the Price. - Proximity to the park. The modern finishes in the bedroom. Generator availability allowed lights to stay on during loadshedding There were roaches In the room as well as bathrooms absolutely unacceptable and a sign of filthiness. Furthermore , the shower had no door which can be quite uncomfortable for many people. The breakfast,was subpar and not what one expects from such an expensive hotel. There was no boiling water for tea and the fruit for the "health breakfast" had flies sitting in it. Overall definitely not worth the price one pays.
• Hester (6/5): Excellent Location, but we did not find it value for money. - The rooms were very comfortable, but the showers don't have doors. This was a problem for my children, because my 2 children, 20 and 22 (a boy and a girl) shared a room and one of them had to leave the room when the other uses the shower. Just keep in mind if you travel with someone you not in a relationship with. The location is excellent if you want to visit the Kruger National Park. We had dinner at the restaurant the first evening and the food was good. They also packed breakfast for us, because we visited the Kruger national Park the next day. We slept over on the 31st of December - The restaurant closed at 15h00 - they did offer a braai for the evening, but it was very expensive. They did not mention this fact to us when we booked the rooms, but only when we booked in on the 30th. The rooms are located away from the restaurant. It is within walking distance, but we did not like the set-up.
