Guest Reviews
- Sharyn (3/5): - Shower pressure TV over bedhead instead of the other end so you could watch it Bedside lamps didn't work No kettle Bathroom sink too small Carpet stained
- Anne (1/5): - Nothing Just don't
- nathan (1/5): -
- Sam (1/5): price way to high for what you get, - Absolutely nothing Everything
- tony (4/5): - Zero There was nothing to like. No kettle or microwave. Air con was useless.
- Rebecca (2/5): Wouldn’t stay here again - Quiet There were no condiments in the room and there was a commercial kitchen that was dirty, hasn’t been cleaned in a while. We were the only people there. No internet access, the tv was in an awkward position
- Barbara (2/5): Don't go there . - No breakfast Filthy kitchen A general cleanup is essential to stay in business . a visit from a health inspector is recommended .
- Claire (3/5): Ok for what we needed but needs a lot of up keep and maintenance - It was an easy check in and ok for what we needed which was just a bed for the night to break up a 17 hour drive. It was very rough. Not well kept and felt a bit dodgy.
- Vivienne (2/5): I was booked for two nights. Only stayed one. - No wifi, no kettle, no microwave.
No helpful information
The beds were hard.
But good shower.
Towel and soap supplied but no washer.
- Tracinta (4/5): Never staying again - Close to the pub Very unclean, poor maintenance to the yard
- Louise (4/5): Disappointing - Great location next to pub Very basic I guess value for money
- Patricia (1/5): Bad - It looked so bad I drove past and didn't stay.
- Eldrene (3/5): This place was terrible. I would have stayed in the motel in the next town not too far away. - Only service provided was a bed. It was clean but not very comfortable. Carpet was in relatively good condition.
Toilet bowl was clean. No tea, coffee, jug, milk, cups etc facilities provided. I arrived late evening and really needed a drink before bed.
Walls on Bedroom and Bathroom were dirty. Floor in bathroom was dirty.
Very thin and old towels were provided.
Blind hung out from window and the outside lighting shone in all night....needed curtains in front of the blind.
Hand basin in bathroom was old and very stained with no plug.
Really was not value for money.
Should not even be on Booking.com
- Dallas (5/5): Passable -
- Ashley (5/5): Passable -
- Anne (5/5): Passable - Quiet location, clean room. Kitchen area great idea. Outside of premises needs a cleanup. Unfortunately kitchen door wasn't sealed properly and allowed dirt/bugs to enter.
- Robbie (6/5): Very old - TV no reception and in a spot that was just not right for viewing
- Donna (2/5): Terrible - Nothing. There was nothing to like. The food next door in pub Cleanliness. Kitchen was filthy bugs n leaves all over floor. milk in fridge was out of date a mth bathroom dirty overall. Shocking
- Howard (5/5): Passable -
- John (3/5): Not a great stay. - The motel was beside the general store & hotel. The room was a bit dingy & extremely basic, i.e. no wardrobe, bedsides etc. The TV was above the bed so you could not relax on the bed to watch TV. We were advised by the staff we could get food at the pub, but it was shut for the weekend & the general store closed early on Saturday. Luckily we had pot noodles. The communial kitchen area could have done with a very good scrub.
- Keith (2/5): Very poor - N/A Total facilities upgrade.
- Michelle (8/5): Comfy beds but needs some Love - The beds were very comfortable, room was quite large. Needs an update, carpets were stained, shared kitchen was filthy, TV had no reception and was located at the head of the bed which was impossible to watch.
- Andrew (1/5): Far worse than I've ever encountered where I paid to stay. Anywhere. I wouldn't stay again. - At least the bed was reasonable, and clean sheets, There was a stench, sewer smell, all night. Worse when another room's facilities were use. I had to open the two windows, but main window at front is obstructed by Glass mounted TV antenna. The blowflies loved the sewer stench.
I was looking maybe there was a dead mouse or rat, under the fridge hasn't been cleaned in so long.
At 2 am I considered taking the blankets out to the car to sleep, but I found a face mask instead.
Carpet floor was badly stained, no walking barefoot on this one,, really, it is bad.
TV worked, but reception kept breaking up, on all channels.
Bed lamp was loose, and didn't work.
Blind at main window doesn't fit the window, outside light floods in at night.
There is more, but these are the main issues. Not a healthy environment.
- Bradley (2/5): Very poor -
- Bradley (2/5): Very poor -
- Glen (5/5): Great location to the Pub , rate the pub heavily - Basic accomodation , not pretty but did the job , great location to the pub , great place for a beer and dinner Maybe a spruce up would help
- Jason (5/5): Got turned away - Online advertised pet friendly and drove a extra 120 to get to motel for booking . Only yo be turned away because of poodle. Advertisement, communication and customer service.
- Andrew (1/5): Bad -
- Wendy (1/5): disgusted - this should not even be a motel. it smelt and on the floor next to the bed was a stain obviously from someone being sick. no kettle or cups had to use a seperate kitchen that had dirty dishes and dead flies everywhere. one blanket and it was cold just a very noisy tiny fan heater. disgusted they could charge money for this.
- Rex (1/5): Never again would we stay there or recommend to others. Extremely dear for what was on offer - Nothing The uncleanliness of community kitchen. The room wasn’t outfitted like a regular motel room with wardrobe, eating utensils, teas coffee etc. very dirty floor.. Just unacceptable. Folk in room next door of same opinion. Don’t think would pass health and safety inspection
- Lauren (8/5): Very good -
- Kathryn (4/5): Disappointing - bed was comfy. host was friendly bit rundown. shared kitchenette wasn’t very clean
- Travelling (1/5): Bad - The town is very small. Location and photo on booking.com. The motel is old and run down. The cheap plastic aircon unit is taped in. The place was filthy. A piece of soap on shower floor. Bad stains on carpet. TV is above your head when laying down and just stuck on wall with a temp antenna. Tiling in shower has structural cracks through them. Car Park has gravel and not had any attention for many years. The common kitchen had grubs and leaves on floor. The only thing I feel was missing was rats. Something isn't right as you'd have to ask how the owners pay their bills. Unless they are subsidised by a very large and aggressive country. They are setting a very bad example for all those great people in that same town.
- Philip (7/5): Good -
